2. For your Safety
To ensure that you’ll have many years of pleasure from your product, please read
these operating instructions carefully, particularly the safety instructions.
Keep them in a safe place and in the case of a change in ownership, please ensure
they are given to the new owner.
2.1 Normal Use
The sauna is to be used exclusively on private property, including a hotel room, in a
residential home or other similar situations and is not to be used for medical purpos-
es. Application is limited to indoors. It is suitable simply as a relaxing hot air bath.
Any other usage will be deemed as not corresponding with normal usage and Duravit AG
undertakes no liability for abnormal usage.
2.2 Safety Instructions
Please read and comply with the following safety instruction!
The heater is a potential fire hazard.
• Ensure that the heat inlets are not covered and there is a free flow of air into the
sauna before you switch on the heater.
This product is designed to be used only by adults.
• Children, elderly or infirm individuals or individuals with disabilities should only
use the pool under supervision.
Only bathe when in good health.
• Consult your doctor before using the sauna if your health is in any way impaired, if
you suffer from acute illnesses or infections, or if you are pregnant.
Microbial contamination of water in the vaporiser.
• Empty the vaporiser water tank after each sauna bath.
Cracks due to continuous humidity and sauna temperature!
• Leave the sauna cabin door open after each sauna bath to allow the humid air to
escape.
Vaporiser module damage due to calcification from hard water (high calcium
content).
• Only use distilled water in the vaporiser tank.

3. Symbol Descriptions
The following warning signs warn you of dangerous situations and their severity:
Danger! High risk, lethal hazards, severe injuries.
Warning! Medium risk, severe injuries.
Caution! Low risk, minor injuries.
Note! Damage to property.

4. Product Information
4.1 Controls
Remote-control with charging station
As a reminder of the American Indian origins of the sauna, the remote-control is
shaped like a stone, a symbol of the American Indian’s “sweat tent” stones. Using this
you can control all the functions of the sauna.
A light ring is integrated into the charging station which shows the charging state and
gives off a friendly, comforting light. If you wish it can be disabled.
Control Panel
There is a second set of controls behind the flap in the furniture. All sauna functions
available on the remote-control can also be selected and started using the control
panel.
4.2 Scenarios
You can store up to six different scenarios, with each scenario having different tem-
perature, humidity, music and lighting. We have predefined five scenarios for you,
you can select between Desert, Indian, Jungle, Asia and Mediterranea while the sixth
scenario is not predefined. All six scenarios are individually variable and can also be
reset to the original, predefined selection.

When changing between scenarios, it can take some time until the predefined
values have been reached.
4.3 Heater with vaporiser
The heater is hidden in the side wall of the sauna. As well as heating the sauna cabin
to up to 110°C (230°F), the vaporiser also enables the cabin humidity to be regulated
between 10% and 45%, according to temperature and depending on the surrounding
room environmental conditions. In addition there are four different bathing settings
(Finnish Sauna, Warm Air Bath, Tropical Bath and Soft Bath).

The relative humidity can vary from the value you set, depending on the surround-
ing room environmental conditions.
i The sauna continuously sucks in fresh air when being used. Make sure that no cold
air (<18 °C) is sucked in, e.g. through an open window during the winter.
Warm-up time
The heat in a sauna is based on three concurrent sources: Firstly, the heater warms
the air in the cabin (convection). The ceiling and walls absorb the air‘s heat and pro-
vide energy - in the form of radiant heat - to the sauna bathers. In addition, there is
heat transfer by conduction: The heated benches transfer the stored heat directly to
the bodies of the bathers. To charge the two heat sources - radiant heat and conduc-
tion - sufficiently, another warm-up period of 30 - 60 minutes is recommended after
reaching the air temperature in the sauna. Overall, expect a warm-up period of 90-
150 minutes for optimal through-heating (depending on environmental conditions):
Then the sauna is „ripe“.
Timer
The timer allows you to restart the heater automatically within the next 24 hours.
That way you can enjoy the sauna as soon as you get home after a long day.
Heating mode
Heater is active in power mode during the warm-up period. The heater automatically
switches to whisper mode 10 minutes after its target temperature is reached. This
makes the heater operate quietly in order to provide maximum comfort while bathing.
You can also manually change the heating mode.
Drying mode
If the heater is turned off, the fan will run automatically for 15 minutes to dry the
sauna. The drying mode can also be activated manually.
4.4 Hourglass
Using the hourglass integrated into the sauna control you can set a timer for your
sauna session.

4.5 Vaporiser
Vaporisation is triggered by the press of a button on either the remote-control or the
control panel, provided that the vaporiser water tank, located behind the flap in the
furniture, is full.
4.6 Lighting
A coloured lighting system is a standard fitting in the sauna. This consists of LED ele-
ments that illuminate the entire rear wall of the sauna from below. You can choose
between single colours or a colour program and vary the intensity of the colours.
Colours
You can define the colours of the light via a colour beam.

Colour programs
• Colour Frenzy
changing light through a staccato progression of six colours:
white – blue – turquoise – green – yellow – red – violet – white – ...
The duration of the cycle can be varied between 5 and 22 seconds.
• Rainbow
changing light through a smooth progression of six colours:
white – blue – turquoise – green – yellow – red – violet – white – ...
The duration of the cycle can be varied between 5 and 22 seconds.
• Sunrise
a 15 minute simulation of the lighting characteristics during daybreak.
• Sunset
a 15 minute simulation of the lighting characteristics during Sunset.
• Pulsed colours
pulses of a selected colour with a variable loop time.
4.7 Music
The sauna is fitted with a sound system that you can use, either during a sauna or
at other times, to listen to the soundscape, the radio or your favourite music. The

loudspeakers are hidden in the floor of the sauna.
Soundscape
The following soundscapes are available:
• Asia
• Desert
• Indian
• Jungle
• Mediterranea

Radio
You can pre-tune three radio stations and search either the FM or AM bands.
External audio source
You can connect your music players (iPhone, mp3-player, HiFi system) via the AUX-In
connection and listen to your favourite music.
4.8 PIN
In order to prevent unauthorised use of the sauna, a PIN-request can activated. You
will then need to enter the PIN in order to turn on the sauna.
4.9 Emergency Lighting
Emergency lighting will come on without the controls or the sauna needing to
be switched on. This provides a degree of safety and protection in the case of an
emergency. You can switch on the emergency lighting separately, e.g. when you’re
cleaning the sauna, and without having to switch on the whole sauna.
4.10 Notes about tightness (Inipi Ama)
The design of frameless shower partitions does not guarantee a hermetic seal.
Splashes of water that occur while taking a shower are kept off. As with any other
frameless shower partition, it is impossible to prevent some water from splashing out

because a water barrier such as a hermetically sealed profile frame is not desirable
for exclusive shiny glass products due to the shape and design.
5. Operation Basics
5.1 Buttons and their Functions
• Switch on the sauna with the “on/off” button.
• Navigate in the menu using the arrow keys, the “OK” key and the “cancel/back” key:
• Move between menu items with the “up” and “down” buttons.
• Select a menu item with the “OK” button.
• Set a value with the “right” and left” buttons.
• Interrupt a series of steps or jump back to the previous menu item with the
“cancel/back” button.
• Start vaporisation with the “vaporiser” button.
• Start the timer with the “hourglass” button.
5.2 Operating Instructions
We’ve condensed the menu navigation in the operating instructions in the subsequent
chapters.
Where you read “Select ....” you need to carry out the following:
> Press the “down” button until the required menu item is marked.
> Press the “OK” button.
Example
> Select scenarios > change.
> Select the scenario you wish to change.
Do the following:
> Press the “down” button until scenario is highlighted.
> Press the “OK” button.
> Press the “down” button until change is highlighted.
> Press the “OK” button.
> Press the “down” button until the scenario you want to change is highlighted.
> Press the “OK” button.

6. Initial Start-up of the Sauna
Step 1: Configure control panel
> Turn the mains switch to ON.
> Turn the light switch to ON.
> Press the “on/off” button.
All languages are listed on the display.
> Select the language you wish to use.
Two alternative modes are listed on the display:
• Version home: the scenarios can be changed
• Version hotel: the scenarios cannot be changed
> Select the mode you wish to use.
“Adjust time” is displayed:
> Press the “up” or “down” buttons until the first digit of the current time is
displayed.
> Press the “right” button to move to the next digit.
> Repeat those last two steps until the current time is displayed.
> Press the “OK” button.
“Adjust the date” is displayed:
> Press the “up” or “down” buttons until the first digit of the current date is
displayed.
> Press the “right” button to move to the next digit.
> Repeat those two steps until the current date is displayed.
> Press the “OK” button.
Set units is displayed.
> Select the required units.
You’ve now finished configuring the control panel.
Step 2: Fill the vaporiser water tank
> Unscrew the vaporiser water tank from behind the flap in the furniture.
> Fill the water tank with distilled water.
> When required, add fragrant essential oils to the water, according to the manufac-
turers instructions.
> Screw the water tank back in.
> Empty the tank again immediately after a sauna bath!

7. Operating the sauna
7.1 Switching on the sauna
> Turn the mains switch to ON.
> Turn the light switch to ON.
The emergency light switches on and, while the control system is starting, the lights
may flicker.
> Press the “on/off” button.
The operating unit is switched on, the emergency light is switched off.
If you’ve activated a PIN-request, enter the PIN as follows:
> Press the “up” or “down” buttons until the first digit of the PIN is displayed.
> Press the “right” button to move to the next digit.
> Repeat those last two steps until you have entered the PIN.
> Press the “OK” button.
You can now switch on the separate parts of the sauna via a scenario or via functions
(heater, lighting, music).
7.2 Switching off the sauna
> Press the “on/off” button.
> Select switch-off.
The sauna is switched off.
> Turn the light switch to OFF.
The emergency light is switched off.
> Turn the mains switch to OFF.
Power supply to the sauna is switched off.
7.3 Switching on a scenario
> Select scenarios.
> Select the scenario you wish to use.
Once the air temperature* is reached, the following is seen on the control panel:
“Air temperature reached! Start scenario?”.
> Press the „OK“ button to confirm.
Perform other scenario settings.

i If you would like to enjoy music or coloured lighting while the sauna is heating
up, you can switch these on individually. Follow the instructions given under the
individual functions.

7.4 Switching off a scenario
> Select scenarios > switch-off.
The scenario is switched off.
7.5 Changing a scenario
... permanently
> Select scenarios > change.
> Select the scenario you wish to change.
> Select the setting you wish to change.
> Now you can change the setting: follow the instructions given under the individual
functions.
... once / during a sauna session
Prerequisite: Scenario is switched off.
All functions (heater, music, lighting) can be changed. Follow the instructions given
under the individual functions.
7.6 Changing a scenario name
> Select scenarios > change.
> Select the scenario you wish to change.
> Select change name.
“Enter scenario name” is displayed on the control panel.
> Press the “up” or “down” buttons until the correct character is displayed.
> Press the “right” button to select the next digit.
> Repeat the last two steps until you have entered the desired scenario name.
> Press the “OK” button to confirm.

The scenario name is stored.
7.7 Resetting a scenario
> Select scenarios > change.
> Select the scenario you wish to change.
> Select reset.
> Press the “OK” button to confirm that you really do want to reset the settings.
Settings for the selected scenario are all reset to their defaults.
7.8 Switching on the heater
... with preset bathing settings
> Select heater.
> Select the desired bathing settings.
The heater heats up.
... with manual temperature selection
> Select heater > manual
An X-Y coordinate axis is displayed.
> Press the “up” or “down” buttons to set the temperature.
> Press the “left” or “right” buttons to set the relative humidity.
> Press the “OK” button.
The heater heats up.
7.9 Turning on the heater with the timer
> Select Heater > Timer.
„Enter start time:“ appears on the display.
Enter the time at which the heater should be turned on, as follows:
> Press the „up“ or „down“ buttons until the first digit of the time is displayed.
> Press the „right“ button to select the next digit.
> Repeat those last two steps until the correct time is displayed.
> Press the „OK“ button to confirm.
In the display grid will appear to set the desired temperature.
> Press the „up“ or „down“ buttons to set the temperature.
