Säkerhetsföreskrifter
VARNING! Använd inte maskinen förrän du har
läst driftsanvisningarna. Läs och beakta instruk-
tionerna innan du använder maskinen. Informati-
on, instruktioner och utbildning i hanteringen av
stoftavskiljaren och det damm som ska avskiljas
måste inhämtas innan den används. Maskinen får
endast användas av behörig personal som är för-
trogen med bestämmelserna i direktiv 2014/34/EC.
Maskinen ska användas i zon 22 eller utanför
explosiva zoner (luft/brandfarligt damm) i områden
där explosiv atmosfär i form av brännbara damm-
moln i luften sannolikt inte kommer att förekomma
under normal drift, men om det ändå skulle inträf-
fa, endast sker under en kort period.
Varning! Vid användandet av elektriska maskiner
ska grundläggande säkerhetsföreskrifter inklusive
följande försiktighetsåtgärder följas för att minska
risken för brand, elstöt eller personskada.
X. Det medlevererade anslutningsdonet är endast
avsett för anslutning utanför zonen. Standard
CEE-vägguttag och jordade uttag av Schuko-
typ är inte tillåtna i zon 22. Maskinen måste
därför anslutas till elnätet utanför zon 22.
1. Viktigt!
Maskinen är utrustad med klistermärket ”Sug
inte upp tändkällor” (symbol enligt gur CC.1
i EN 60335-2-69). (Icke ledande.) Inga heta,
glödande partiklar eller andra tändkällor får su-
gas upp. Maskinen får inte användas för explo-
siva, instabila eller självantändande partiklar
eller damm med en minsta antändningsenergi
om (MIE) < 3 mJ.
Maskiner godkända för zon 22 är inte lämpliga
för uppsugning av damm och vätskor med hög
explosionsrisk eller blandningar av brännbart
damm och vätskor. De är inte heller lämpliga
för uppsugning av potentiellt explosiva eller
motsvarande ämnen enligt direktiv 2014/34/
EU.

användas av personer med lämplig utbildning i
dess hantering.
– VARNING! maskinen får endast
användas för uppsugning och borttagning av
torrt damm.
– FÖRSIKTIGHET! maski-
nen får endast användas inomhus.

– SE UPP! för damm med antänd-
ningsenergi under 1 mJ. Ytterligare restriktio-
ner kan gälla enligt lokala föreskrifter angå-
ende hälsa och säkerhet.
– FÖRSIKTIGHET! ma-
skinen är inte lämplig för anslutning till damm-
ande maskiner.
2. Hänsyn till miljöpåverkan
Maskinen får inte utsättas för regn. Maskinen
får inte användas i fuktig eller våt miljö och
får inte användas i närheten av brandfarliga
vätskor eller gaser.
3. Överbelastning
Låt inte maskinen gå helstrypt. Helstrypning
innebär risk för överhettning (manometern in-
dikerar i rött fält). Använd maskinen för avsett
ändamål. Följ föreskrifterna för det material
som sugs.
4. Kroppsskador
Låt aldrig sugpunkten komma i kontakt med
någon kroppsdel. Det starka undertrycket kan
skada hudens blodkärl. Försök aldrig att på
egen hand ändra elektriska kopplingar. Ett fel
kan medföra livsfara. Se också nedan under
varning.
5. Sladden
Dra aldrig maskinen med hjälp av sladden.
Utsätt inte sladden för värme eller skarpa före-
mål. Kontrollera kablar för potentialutjämning,
elkabel och elektrisk utrustning före använd-
ning. Maskinen får inte användas om någon
del är skadad.Inga förlängningssladdar,
instickskontakter eller adaptrar får användas
för anslutning till elnätet.
6. Viktig åtgärd
Vid rengöring och skötsel ska maskinen göras
strömlös genom avstängning och utdrag-
ning av kontakten. Service ska aldrig utföras
inne i zonen. Dammbehållaren ska tömmas
vid behov och alltid efter varje användning.
Maskinen får bara användas om alla lter är
oskadade och nns på plats.
7. Omsorg
Håll maskinen ren och fri från dammavlag-
ringar. Se till att sugslangen är hel och att alla
packningar är täta. Följ instruktionerna. Håll

8. Kontroll
Kontrollera alltid att maskinen är oskadad
innan den används. Finns det skador måste
maskinen repareras av en auktoriserad servi-
ceverkstad som är godkänd av Dustcontrol.
Om nätsladden är skadad måste den bytas av
Dustcontrol eller auktoriserad serviceverkstad,
som är godkänd av Dustcontrol. Nätsladden
får bara ersättas med angiven typ.
9. Transport
När man transporterar maskinen på annat
sätt än att rulla den ska behållaren vara tömd.
Broms på främre hjul ska alltid låsas när ma-
skinen inte rullas.
10. Varning
Använd endast tillbehör som godkänts av
tillverkaren för användning i zon 22. Använd-
ningen av andra tillbehör kan medföra risk för
explosion.
Endast sugtillbehör i antistatiskt utförande eller
metall får användas. OBS! Vid användandet av
felaktiga delar eller piratdelar (framförallt lter
och sugslang) kan maskinen läcka hälsofarligt
damm med personskada som följd. Endast le-
dande plastsäckar får användas med den här
maskinen för dammutsugning (se originalarti-
kelnr.) Säker borttagning av avskilda material
måste ske enligt direktiven i CENELEC TR
50404.
Maskinen får inte hanteras av barn. Personer
med nedsatt fysisk, sensorisk eller mental
förmåga får inte hantera maskinen utan anvis-
ningar och tillsyn från en person som ansvarar
för deras säkerhet. Barn ska hållas under
uppsikt för att säkerställa att de inte leker med
maskinen.
Information, instruktioner och utbildning i han-
teringen av stoftavskiljaren och det damm som
ska avskiljas måste inhämtas innan stoftavskil-
jaren används.
Maskinen är lämplig för kommersiellt bruk,
till exempel på hotell, i skolor, på sjukhus och
fabriker, i butiker, på kontor och i uthyrningslo-
kaler.

Maskin för uppsugning och borttagning av
torrt, ohälsosamt, brandfarligt, ledande damm
enligt dammklass H i Zon 22.
Maskinen, när den används för avsett ända-
mål, är därför lämplig för avskiljning av torrt,
farligt, brandfarligt, icke ledande damm med
alla gränsvärden (damm med ELV:er och
damm med cancerframkallande substanser).

och luftöde

Funktionsbeskrivning
DC 1800 H EX och DC 2800 H EX är elektriskt
drivna, robust konstruerade dammavskiljare för
användning i samband med dammgenererande
aktiviteter i industrin. Stoftavskiljare är lämpliga för
uppsamling av brandfarligt stoft i zon 22. Industri-
ella stoftavskiljare är avsedda för uppsugning och
borttagning av dammavlagringar. Explosionsskydd
verkställs genom isoleringen av de elektriska de-
larna och potentialutjämningen av de komponenter
som kommer i kontakt med damm. Maskinen kan
användas vid temperaturer mellan +10 och +40 °C.
Maskinerna är lämpliga för allmänna rengörings-
funktioner. Regelbunden rengöring av arbetsplat-
sen är viktig för att förhindra dammexplosioner.
Maskinen arbetar med undertryck. Avskiljningen av
grova partiklar sker i en cyklon och avskiljningen av
nt damm sker i lterenheten.
Materialet avskiljs till en behållare som är fästad
direkt vid cyklonen. Filtret rengörs med omvänd puls.
Det avskiljda och ltrerade materialet samlas in i
en behållare med en plastsäcksinsats, artikelnr.
42951H (DC 1800 H EX) eller artikelnr. 42384H
(DC 2800 H EX). Behållaren kan enkelt tas bort
från maskinen genom att man öppnar fästena,
vilket gör det enkelt att forsla bort materialet.Ta
försiktigt bort den fyllda säcken från behållarens
kant och förslut den genast tätt. Placera sedan en
ny plastsäck i behållaren och trä försiktigt öppning-
en över kanten på behållaren igen och se till att
säcken inte har skadats och att det inte nns några
veck på den.
Behållaren hålls på plats med fästen vilket betyder
att en klämma måste placeras på maskinens jord-
äta. Detta säkerställs genom inriktning av de röda
motstående pilmarkeringarna. (Se även diagram-
met på följande sida).
ATEX
Denna maskin med tillbehör är lämplig för använd-
ning i zon 22 (2014/34/EU) för uppsugning och
borttagning av:
II 3D T85°C IP54, 10<= ta<=30oC
Denna standard omfattar säkerheten för damm-
sugare med elmotorer, inklusive stoftavskiljare
och ryggburna dammsugare, som används för
våtavskiljning, torravskiljning eller våt-och-torr-
avskiljning, som tillhandahålls för kommersiellt
bruk inomhus och för utomhusbruk med och utan
tillbehör för uppsamling av brännbart damm i en
atmosfär (zon 22) som betecknas som explosiv.
FÖRSIKTIGHET! Maskinen innehåller farligt
damm. Tömnings- och underhållshantering, in-
klusive borttagning av dammuppsamlingsbehål-
lare, får endast utföras av specialiserad personal
som måste bära lämplig skyddsutrustning. Fungerar
inte utan komplett ltreringssystem.

Drift
Kontrollera alltid att elektrisk utrustning och ka-
blar för potentialutjämning är oskadade samt att
samtliga tillbehör är antistatiska. Anslut kontakten
till ett eluttag som benner sig utanför zonen med
spänning enligt specikationerna på maskinens
märkning.
Filtren ska rensas 1-2 gånger om dagen vid konti-
nuerlig användning eller när tryckmätaren visar på
rött.
GÖR SÅ HÄR:
1. Starta maskinen.
2. Ta loss sugslangen från sugröret.
3. Stäng till sugslangens fria ände t. ex. genom
att trycka den mot golvet. Genom att stänga
slangen skapas ett maximalt undertryck i cy-
klonen.
4. Öppna luckan på sidan 3-6 gånger. Luften
rusar in i maskinen och rensar ltret med
pulsverkan.
5. Öppna slangen igen och anslut sugmunstyck-
et.
6. Om tryckmätaren står på
grönt kan arbetet återupp-
tas, om den står på rött ska
rensningsproceduren upp-
repas. Står mätaren på rött
också efter repetitionen ska
nltret bytas, art. nr. 42398.
Vissa arbetsmoment (som stryper luftödet) kan
göra att mätaren ställer sig på ett högt värde även
med rent lter. Maskinen ska aldrig köras varaktigt
när mätaren visar på det röda området, eftersom
detta innebär risk för överhettning. Övergång från
grönt till rött område sker vid 1,5 kPa.
Behållaren under cyklonen bör tömmas när den
är fylld till cirka 2/3 eller max 20 kg. Lossa de två
spännlåsen och ta ut behållaren. Var försiktig
när spännlåsen lossas – de kan öppna sig med
stor kraft – speciellt när materialet är tungt. Var
uppmärksam på att tömningen av behållaren kan
innebära explosionsrisk, dvs. att explosiv atmosfär
kan uppstå och att statisk uppladdning kan gene-
reras av partiklarnas friktion mot behållaren. För
lämpliga åtgärder se CENELEC TR 50404.
När behållaren monteras på stoftavskiljaren ska
spännlåsens bygel ha god kontakt med blecket på
överdelen. De röda pilmarkeringarna ska riktas in
så att de pekar mot varandra.
Följande försiktighetsåtgärder bör generellt
iakttas före underhållsarbete:
1. För att undvika dammspridning måste maski-
nen dammsugas och torkas ren innan den tas
bort från det förorenade området och sugöpp-
ningarna ska förslutas med tätningsanordning-
ar såsom pluggar.
2. Alla maskiner måste anses som förorenade
om de yttas från den farliga zonen. Lämpliga
åtgärder måste vidtas för att förhindra damm-
spridning.
3. Vid underhåll eller reparationer måste alla för-
orenade objekt som inte har rengjorts tillfreds-
ställande avyttras. Dessa objekt ska bortskaf-
fas i dammsäkra påsar enligt de bestämmelser
som gäller för bortska󰀨ande av avfall.
4. Rengör maskinen före demontering.
5. (När så är möjligt) välj en lokal med ltrerad
äktventilation.
6. Rengör underhållsområdet i förväg.

7. Använd lämplig personlig skyddsutrustning.
8. Filterpatronen i cyklonen ska bytas ut vid
behov och minst en gång om året. Använd
endast originallter. (Beställningsnr. 42028H +
42027H).
9. Motorenhet: Som en del av det årliga under-
hållet måste ltren i motorhuset bytas (artikelnr
432199H). Dessa delar måste bytas av kvali-
cerad personal som har utbildats av Dustcon-
trol. Dessa lter ingår i explosionsskyddssyste-
met. Vid höga nivåer av damm ska en inspek-
tion utföras efter 4 månader för att avgöra om
ltren ska bytas oftare.
10. Maskinen ska kopplas bort från elnätet vid ren-
göring och underhåll. Service får aldrig utföras
i zonområdet.
11. Överbelastningsskydd. Maskinen är utrustad
med ett överhettningsskydd. Om otillräcklig luft
strömmar genom motorenheten (på grund av
överbelastning), kommer motorn att stängas
av när temperaturen överstiger 55 °C (över-
hettning). I dessa situationer är det viktigt att
fastställa orsaken till överhettningen. Slå av
strömmen och dra ut nätsladden och vänta tills
motorn svalnat (upp till 30 minuter).
12. Eftersom maskinerna används i explosiva
miljöer, måste dess funktionalitet inspekteras
av tillverkaren eller utbildad personal minst en
gång om året (inspektion av exempelvis ska-
dor på ltret, lufttätheten hos dammsugaren,
styrenhetens funktion, skador på elkomponen-
ter, tätningar och potentialutjämningskablar).
Använd endast originaldelar.
13. När dammuppsamlingsbehållaren ska töm-
mas måste de båda spännlåsen försiktigt
frigöras, ett i taget, för att förhindra att damm
virvlar upp i onödan. När behållaren (på DC
2800 H EX) och efter att ha lyft upp den övre
delen av maskinen (på DC 1800 H EX) sänkts
ned slås avskiljaren på igen så att eventuella
vidhäftade partiklar sugs in i ltercyklonen.
Behållaren kan nu tas bort från maskinen. Ta
försiktigt bort den fyllda säcken från behålla-
rens kant och förslut den genast tätt. Montera
en ny plastsäck och placera öppningen nog-
grant tillbaka över kanten på behållaren. Se
till att inga veck bildas och att säcken inte är
skadad. Installera sedan försiktigt facket under
avskiljaren och sätt fast de två krokarna, stäng
av maskinen och säkra facket på maskinen
ännu en gång, se till att fästhakarna är kor-
rekt placerade (se diagram) och kontrollera för
läckage.
Filterbyte
Finltret ska bytas minst en gång varje år. Hepa-
lter ska bytas efter var 300:e drifttimme. Använd
andningsskydd vid lterbyte. Använd endast origi-
nallter.
Frigör och lyft av locket. Förhindra dammläckage
genom att placera en plastsäck over cyklonen och
ta bort lterpatronen. Rengör lterplattan. Montera
det nya ltret.
- FÖRSIKTIGHET! Återanvänd inte huvudltret när
det tagits bort från maskinen.
HEPA-ltret tas bort genom att man öppnar locket
och lossar patronen. Genom att försiktigt luta det
lossade motorhuvudet bort från cyklonen, tilläm-
pas ett lateralt tryck på HEPA-lterpatronen som
sitter på motorhuvudet. Om det behövs upprepar
du proceduren tills HEPA-ltret faller in i den na
lterpatronen. HEPA-ltret kan tas bort tillsam-
mans med det na ltret, enligt beskrivningen (se
även diagrammet) och kasseras i stort sett fritt från
damm.Den nya lterpatronen placeras i nltret
och förseglas genom noggrann fastsättning av
locket.
Varning
Tillverkaren eller en utbildad person måste ge-
nomföra en inspektion minst en gång om året,
till exempel av skador på ltret, lufttätheten hos
dammsugaren och styrenhetens funktion.
Undertrycksenheten har en mycket lång livslängd
och kräver inget underhåll. Efter cirka 1 000 tim-
mars användning ska tätningarna kontrolleras. Om
slitage upptäcks måste dessa delar bytas ut.

Safety Considerations
CAUTION! Do not use the machine until you have
read the operating instructions. Read and note
these instructions before you operate the machine.
Information, instructions and training in the use
of the dust-extraction machine and the dusts to
be separated should be obtained before use. The
machine may only be used by authorised person-
nel who are familiar with the provisions of Directive
2014/34/EU.
The machine should be used in Zone 22 or out-
side of explosive zones (air/ammable dust) in ar-
eas in which an explosive atmosphere in the form
of combustible clouds of dust in the air is unlikely
to occur during normal operation, but if it does oc-
cur, is only for a short period.
Warning! When using electrical machinery, basic
safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of re, electric shock and personal
injury, including the following:
X. The supplied connector is only intended for
connection outside the zone. Standard CEE
wall sockets and Schuko-type earthed sockets
are not permissible in Zone 22. The machine
must therefore be connected to the mains
power supply outside of Zone 22.
1. Important!
The machine is provided with a sticker “Do
not pick up sources of ignition” (symbol as in
Figure CC.1 of EN 60335-2-69). (Non-conduc-
tive.) No hot, glowing particles or other sourc-
es of ignition must be picked up. The machine
should not be used for explosive, unstable or
self-igniting particles or dusts with a minimum
ignition energy (MIE) < 3mJ.
Machines approved for zone 22 are not suita-
ble for picking up dusts and liquids with a high
explosion risk or mixtures of combustible dusts
with liquids, and are not suitable for picking up
potentially explosive or equivalent substances
in the meaning of the Directive 2014/34/EU .

2. Consideration for environmental inuenc-
es
The machine must not be exposed to rain. The
machine must not be used in a damp or wet
environment and must not be used in the vicin-
ity of ammable liquids or gases.
3. Overload
Never let the machine operate fully throttled,
as this poses a risk of overheating (pressure
gauge needle is in the red zone). Always follow
the regulations pertinent to the material you
are working with. Do not use the machine for
purposes for which it is not intended.
4. Bodily injury
Never let the suction come into contact with
any part of the body. The strong suction e󰀨ect
can damage the blood vessels in the skin. Do
not attempt to repair the electrical components
yourself. The machine should only be serviced
by qualied personnel. Any mistake may result
in injury. See also below under “Warnings”.
5. Do not abuse the power cord
Never pull the machine by its power cord.
Keep the power cord away from heat and
sharp edges. Check potential equalisation ca-
bles, electrical cables and electrical equipment
before use. The machine must not be used
if any part is damaged. No extension leads,
plug-in cable connectors or adapters should
be used for connection to the mains supply.
6. Important information
Disconnect the power cable from the mains
before cleaning or performing maintenance
on the machine. Servicing should never be
performed inside the zone. The dust container
should be emptied as required, and in any
case after each use. The machine may only be
operated if all lters are in place and undam-
aged.

Safety Considerations
7. Care of the machine
Keep the machine clean and free of dust de-
posits. Check that the hose is undamaged and
that all seals are intact. Follow all instructions.
Keep handles dry and free of oil and grease.
8 Checking for damage
Always check the machine carefully for dam-
age before use. Any damaged parts should be
repaired by a Dustcontrol authorised service
centre.
If the mains cord is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualied persons, in order to avoid
a hazard. The mains cord must only be re-
placed with the specied type.
9. Transportation
The container must be emptied before the
machine is transported. The front wheel has a
brake that should always be locked when the
machine is stationary.
10. Warnings
Only use accessories approved by the manu-
facturer for use in Zone 22. The use of other
accessories may result in the risk of explosion.
Only antistatic or metallically non-conductive
suction accessories may be used. The ma-
chine could leak dust that is hazardous to
health if defective or pirated parts (especially
lters and hoses) are used. Only non-con-
ductive plastic sacks may be used with this
machine for dust discharge (see original part
no).
Safe removal of the separated materials
must take place according to the directives of
CENELEC TR 50404.
This machine must not be operated by chil-
dren. Persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities must not operate the
machine unless they receive instruction and
supervision from a person who is responsible
for their safety. Children must be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the machine.
Information, instructions and training in the use
of the dust-extraction machine and the dusts
to be separated should be obtained before
use.
The machine is suitable for commercial use,
for example in hotels, schools, hospitals, facto-
ries, shops, o󰀩ces and rental businesses.

Description
TThe DC 1800 H EX and DC 2800 H EX are electri-
cally operated, robustly constructed dust extractors
for use in conjunction with dust-generating opera-
tions in industry. Dust extractors are suitable for the
collection of ammable dust in Zone 22. Industrial
dust extractors are intended to be used for the suction
and removal of dust deposits. Explosion protection
is provided by the insulation of the electrical parts
and the potential equalisation of the components that
come into contact with dust. The machine can be
used at temperatures between +10 and +40 °C. The
machines are suitable for general cleaning opera-
tions. Regular cleaning of the workplace is important
to prevent dust explosions.
The extractors operate with negative pressure.
Separation of the coarse particles takes place in a
cyclone, and separation of the ne dust takes place
in the lter unit.
The material is separated into a container that is at-
tached directly to the cyclone. The lter is cleaned
using reverse pulse.
The extracted and ltered material is collected in a
container with a plastic sack insert, Part No. 42951H
(DC 1800 H EX) or Part No. 42384H (DC 2800 H
EX). The container can easily be removed from the
machine by opening the fasteners, making it easy
to dispose of the material. Carefully remove the full
sack from the edge of the bin and immediately seal
it tight. Then place a new plastic sack in the bin, and
carefully pass the opening back over the edge of the
bin, ensuring that no damage is caused, and such
that no folds are visible.
The container is secured by means of the fasteners,
whereby a clamp must be placed on the earthing
strap of the machine. This is ensured by aligning the
opposing red arrow markings. (See also diagram on
the following page).

Zone 22 (2014/34/EU) for the suction and removal of:

Operation
The following precautions should generally
be observed before the start of maintenance
operations:
1. To avoid the spread of dust, before the ma-
chine is removed from the contaminated area,
it must be vacuumed and wiped clean, and the
suction openings should be closed with seal-
ing means such as plugs.
2. All machines must be regarded as being
contaminated if they are removed from the
hazardous zone. Appropriate measures must
be taken to prevent the spread of dust.
3. When performing maintenance or repair op-
erations, all contaminated items that have not
been cleaned satisfactorily must be disposed
of. Such items must be disposed of in dust-
proof bags in accordance with the provisions
that are applicable to the disposal of waste.
4. Clean the machine before disassembly.
5. (Wherever possible), choose a room with
ltered forced ventilation.
ENGLISH
Always check that the electrical equipment and
potential equalisation cables are undamaged,
and that all accessories are antistatic. Connect to
a power source outside the zone in accordance
with the voltage specied on the rating plate of the
machine.
The lter should be cleaned once or twice a day if the
machine is operated continuously or, if the machine
is equipped with a pressure gauge and the needle
is in the red zone.
To clean the lter:
1. Start the machine.
2. Disconnect the hose from the suction casing.
3. Close the suction hose tightly, e.g. by pressing
it against the oor. Closing the hose produces
maximum negative pressure in the machine.
4. Open the door on the side 3 to 6 times. The air
rushes into the machine and cleans the lter
by means of reverse pulse.
5. Open the hose again, and reconnect the
suction nozzle.
6. If the pressure gauge needle is in the green
zone, work can continue. If it is in the red
zone, repeat the reverse
pulse cleaning. If the presu-
sure gauge needle remains
in the red zone after reverse
pulse cleaning has been per-
formed several times, the ne
lter (part no. 42398) should
be changed.
Some operations (i.e. those that that restrict air ow)
can make the pressure gauge show a high reading,
even when the lter is clean. The machine should
never be operated permanently when the gauge is
in the red zone, as this poses a risk of overheating.
Transition from the green area to the red area oc-
curs at 1.5 kPa.
The container underneath the cyclone should be
emptied when about 2/3 full or max 20 kg. Release
the two fasteners and remove the container.
Be careful when releasing the fasteners, as they can
open with great force, especially when the material
is heavy. Be aware that emptying the container may
pose a risk of explosion, i.e. an explosive atmosphere
may occur and a static charge may be generated by
the friction of particles against the container. See
CENELEC TR 50404 for the appropriate measures.
When the container is attached back onto the dust
extractor, make sure that the bracket is properly at-
tached to the contact plate. The red arrow markings
must be aligned so that they point towards each other.

Filter replacement
The ne lter should be replaced at least once a
year. HEPA lters should be replaced after every
300 hours of operation. Wear a dust mask when
replacing the lter. Only use an original lter.
Release and lift o󰀨 the lid. To prevent the escape
of dust, place a plastic sack over the cyclone, and
remove the lter cartridge. Clean the lter plate.
Then t the new lter.
- CAUTION! Do not reuse the main lter once it
has been removed from the machine.
6. Clean the maintenance area beforehand.
7. Use suitable personal protective equipment.
8. The lter cartridge in the cyclone should be re-
placed as necessary, and at least once a year.
Only use an original lter. (Order no. 42028H +
42027H).
9. Motor unit: As part of annual maintenance ,
the lters in the motor housing must be repla-
ced (Part No. 432199H). These parts must
be replaced by qualied personnel who have
been trained by Dustcontrol. These lters are
part of the explosion protection system. In
the event of high levels of dust, an inspection
should be carried out after 4 months to deter-
mine whether the lters should be changed at
more frequent intervals.
10. The machine should be disconnected from
the power supply during cleaning and mainte-
nance. Service operations should never take
place in the zone area.
11. Overload protection. The machine is equip-
ped with overheating protection. If insu󰀩cient
air ows through the motor unit (due to over-
load), the motor will switch o󰀨 at temperatures
exceeding 55°C (overheating). In these situa-
tions, it is important to determine the cause of
the overheating. Switch o󰀨 the mains power
and pull out the mains plug, then wait until the
motor has cooled down (up to 30 minutes).
12. As the machines are used in explosive en-
vironments, the functionality of the machine
must be inspected by the manufacturer or
a trained person at least once a year (e.g.
inspection of the lter for damage, inspec-
tion of the air tightness of the dust-extraction
machine and function of the control unit, and
inspection of the electrical components, seals
and potential equalisation cables for damage.
Only use original spare parts.
13. To empty the dust collection container, the
two fasteners must be released with care,
one after the other, to prevent dust from being
stirred up unnecessarily. After lowering the
container, (on the DC 2800 H EX) and after
lifting up the top section of the machine (on
the DC 1800 H EX) the extractor should be
switched on again in order for any suspended
particles to be sucked into the lter cyclone.
The container can now be completely removed
from the machine. Carefully remove the full
sack from the edge of the bin, and immediately
seal it tight. Fit a new plastic sack, and care-
fully pass the opening back over the edge of
the bin. Make sure that no folds occur, and that
the sack is not damaged. Then carefully install
the bin under the extractor and attach the two
hooks, turn o󰀨 the machine and secure the bin
to the machine once more, making sure that
the retaining hooks are positioned correctly
(see diagram) and check for leaks.
The HEPA lter is removed by opening the lid and
loosening the cartridge. By gently tilting the loos-
ened motor head away from the cyclone, lateral
pressure is exerted on the HEPA lter cartridge se-
cured to the motor head. If necessary, repeat this
procedure until the HEPA lter cartridge falls into
the ne lter cartridge. The HEPA lter can then be
removed together with the ne lter, as described
(also see diagram), and disposed of virtually dust-
free. The new lter cartridge is placed in the ne
lter and is sealed by carefully attaching the lid.

should be inspected. If wear is detected, these
parts must be replaced.
Warranty
The warranty period for this machine is one years
and covers manufacturers faults. The warranty is
valid under the condition that the machine is used
under normal conditions on the task for which it was
designed and is maintained properly.
Normal wear is not covered by this warranty. Service
performed by other than Dustcontrol or its authorized
agent voids automatically the warranty. No other
warranty express or implied is applicable.

Die Maschine darf nur im Bereich Zone 22 oder
außer-halb von EX-Zonen verwendet werden, in
der bei Normalbetrieb eine explosionsfähige At-
mosphäre (Luft/brennbarer Staub) normalerweise
nicht oder nur kurzfristig auftritt.
Achtung! Beim Gebrauch von elektrischen Ma-
schinen sind zum Schutz gegen elektrischen
Schlag, Verletzungs- und Brandgefahr folgende
grundsätzliche Sicherheitsmaßnahmen zu beach-
ten.
X. Der mitgelieferte Stecker ist nur für einen
Anschluss außerhalb der Zone geeignet.
Normale CEE-Steck-dosen und Schukosteck-
dosen sind in der Zone 22 nicht zulässig. Der
Anschluss des Gerätes ist daher außerhalb
der Zone 22 vorzunehmen.
1. Wichtig!
Die Maschine ist mit einem Aufkleber ”Keine
Zündquellen einsaugen” (Bildzeichen nach
Bild CC.1 der EN 60335-2-69) versehen.
(Nicht leitend.) Es dürfen keine heißen, glü-
henden Teilchen oder andere Zündquellen
eingesaugt werden. Die Maschine sollte nicht
für explosive, instabile und selbstentzündliche
Partikel oder Stäube mit einer Mindestzünd-
energie (MZE) <3mJ verwendet werden.
Maschinen für Zone 22 zugelassen sind nicht
geeignet für die Aufnahme von Stäuben und
Flüssigkeiten mit hoher Explosionsgefahr
sowie für Gemische von brennbaren Stäuben
mit Flüssigkeiten und sind nicht geeignet zur
Aufnahme von explosionsgefährlichen oder
diesen gleichgestellten Sto󰀨en im Sinne von
§1, Sprengsto󰀨gesetz.

2. Berücksichtigen Sie die Umgebungsein-
üsse
Setzen Sie die Maschine nicht dem Regen
aus. Benutzen Sie diese Maschine nicht in
feuchter oder nasser Umgebung und nicht in
der Nähe von brennbaren Flüssigkeiten oder
Gasen.
3. Überlastung der Maschine
Lassen Sie die Maschine nie völlig gedrosselt
laufen, (die Filteranzeige steht auf rot) da sonst
eine Überhitzung auftreten kann. Verwenden
Sie die Maschine nur für Arbeiten für die sie
bestimmt ist. Befolgen Sie die Vorschriften zur
Handhabung des abgesaugten Materials.
4. Verletzungsgefahr
Vermeiden Sie Körperkontakt mit den Saug-
düsen. Die kräftige Saugwirkung kann die
Blutgefässe der Haut verletzen. Nehmen Sie
niemals selbst Eingri󰀨e an den elektrischen
Teilen vor. Ein Fehler kann lebensgefährlich
ist.
5. Schützen Sie das Kabel
Ziehen Sie die Maschine nicht am Kabel.
Schützen Sie das Kabel vor Hitze und schar-
fen Kanten. Kontrollieren Sie vor Einsatz der
Maschine die Kabel für den Potentialausgleich
und das Netzkabel. Die Maschine darf nicht
eingesetzt werden, wenn Kabel oder Stecker
beschädigt sind. Zum Netzanschluss dürfen
Verlängerungen, Kupplungssteckvorrich-tun-
gen und Adapter nicht verwendet werden.
6. Wichtiger Hinweis
Zum Reinigen und Warten der Maschine
zuerst den Hauptschalter ausschalten und
den Netzstecker ziehen. Servicearbeiten an
der Maschine sollten immer außerhalb der
Zone ausgeführt werden. Der Staubbehälter
ist bei Bedarf zu entleeren, jedoch nach jedem

7. Pegen Sie die Maschine mit Sorgfalt
Halten Sie die Maschine sauber und staubfrei.

Befolgen Sie die Wartungsvorschriften. Halten
Sie die Tragegri󰀨e trocken und frei von Öl und
Fett.
8 Kontrolle von Beschädigungen
Überprüfen Sie vor jeder Inbetriebnahme
die Maschine auf Beschädigungen. Gibt es
Beschädigungen muss die Maschine von einer
von Dustcontrol autorisierten Kundendienst-
werkstatt repariert werden.
Wenn das Netzkabel beschädigt ist, muss es
vom Hersteller, dessen Kundendienst oder
einer ähnlich qualizierten Person ersetzt
werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
Die Netzanschlussleitung darf nur durch den
angegebenen Typ ersetzt werden.
9. Transport
Vor Transport der Maschine muss der Behäl-
ter entleert werden. Das Vorderrad hat eine
Bremsvorrichtung die bei Stillstehen immer
benutzt werden muss.
10. Warnung
Nur vom Hersteller zugelassenes Zubehör im
Bereich Zone 22 verwenden. Die Verwendung
anderer Zubehörteile kann eine Explosionsge-
fahr verursachen.
Es darf lediglich antistatisches Saugzubehör
oder Zubehör aus Metall eingesetzt werden.
Beim Einsatz von fehlerhaften Teilen oder
Piratteilen (vor allem Filter und Saugschlauch)
kann aus der Maschine gesundheitsgefähr-
licher Staub austreten. Bei dieser Maschine
dürfen nur leitfähige Plastiksäcke für den
Staubaustrag eingesetzt werden (siehe Origi-
nalarti-kelnummer). Eine gefahrlose Entnahme
des abgeschiedenen Materials muss nach den
Richtlinien von CENELEC TR 50404 durchge-
führt werden.
Diese Maschine darf nicht von Kindern be-
trieben werden. Personen mit reduzierten
physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen
Fähigkeiten dürfen die Maschine nur betrei-
ben, wenn Sie eine Einweisung und Beauf-
sichtigung durch eine Person erhalten, die für
deren Sicherheit zuständig ist. Kinder müssen
beaufsichtigt werden um sicherzustellen, dass
diese nicht mit der Maschine spielen.
Vor dem Gebrauch sollen Informationen, An-
weisungen und Schulungen zur Benutzung der
staubbeseitigenden Maschine und der abzu-
scheidenden Stäube eingeholt werden.
Die Maschine ist für den gewerblichen Ge-
brauch geeignet, wie z.B. in Hotels, Schulen,
Krankenhäusern, Fabriken, Läden, Büros und
Vermietungsgeschäften.
