1. Introduction
1.1 Purpose&Description
The Smart Gateway S Serial is a gateway product used in the smart home, intelligent security
industry, pension services. It a central device, support multiple wireless protocols including Wi-Fi
and zigbee3.0, BLE, Z-WAVE. There is a USB port that different between DSGW-030 and DSGW-031.
The user can connect the network through Wi-Fi and Ethernet. Besides, smart sensors can be
connected through zigbee3.0, BLE, Z-WAVE.

2. How To Use
2.1 Position Your Smart Gateway
With the gateway, you can access your network from anywhere within the wireless network
coverage. However, the wireless signal strength and coverage varies depending on the actual
environment where your gateway is in. Many obstacles may limit the range of the wireless signal,
for example, concrete structures, thickness and number of walls.
For your security and best Wi-Fi performance, please:
•Do not locate the router in the place where it will be exposed to moisture or excessive heat.
•Keep away from strong electromagnetic radiation source and electromagnetic-sensitive devices.
•Place the router in a location where it can be connected to the various devices as well as to a
power source.
•Place the router in a location where it can receive a strong mobile internet signal.
•Make sure the cables and power cord are safely placed out of the way so they do not create a
tripping hazard.
Tips: The gateway can be placed on a shelf or desktop.
2.2 Installation Method 1 (paste)
Step 1.Paste 3M glue on the back of gateway

2.3 Installation Method 1 (Place)
You can place the router flat wherever you need it，Please avoid metal desktop and place.
2.4 Connect Your Gateway
Follow the steps below to connect your gateway
1.Press and hold the wifi enable button 5s to enable the wifi function.
You can search for the following device information:
SSID :dusun_xxxx(The last four digits of the mac address)
Password:xxxxxxxx(The last eight digits of the mac address)
2.Make the computer connect to the Wi-Fi.
Open browser
Enter URL:192.168.66.1
User: root password : root
3. Configuring gateway features on the website.
1. Observe the indicator signal, whether the gateway is working
2. Reset hole：Long poke reset hole for more than 8s, the gateway enters the reset mode, after
the completion, the factory settings will be restored, and all the pairing information in the
gateway will be cleared.
Power indicator The green light is always on, the gateway is powered on, the green light is
off, and the router power is off.
Network indicator The yellow light flashes, that is the LAN and the WAN is communicating
normally.
Signal indicator The red light flashes, indicating that the network is communicating
normally.
WiFi enable button Long press 5s to enable AP function.

3.1.1 Purpose& Description
The DSGW-020/DSGW-010 is gateway product used in smart home, intelligent security industry,
pension services. It’s a central device, support LTE-M1 (EMTC), Wi-Fi, zigbee3.0, Bluetooth and Z-
WAVE wireless protocol. User can connect the network through LTE-M1, Wi-Fi and Ethernet. In
addition, smart sensors can be connected through zigbee3.0, Bluetooth and z-wave.

3.3.1.1 Deploy the environment of configuration
a) For DSGW-030 gateway
1) Connect the gateway with a router using WAN port
2) Connect a PC to the same router
3) Find out the IP address of the gateway in the router
4) Log in the gateway use the IP address in a broswer

b) For DSGW-040 gateway
Putting the PC connect to the LAN port of the gateway by netting twine or connect the gateway
with a router using WAN port by the same process as DSGW-030.
3.3.1.2 Login Password of Configuration Page
Open the website, if connect the gateway using Lan port, Input Gateway IP Address: 192.168.66.1.
Otherwise, input the real IP address of the gateway from the router.

3.3.1.4 Wifi Setting
Switch to Wifi Setting menu, the gateway supported both wifi ap and wifi sta mode to
Wifi AP mode: In this mode, the gateway works as a router, user can connect to the SSID using the
AP Password。 The AP SSID, AP Password and AP encryption mode are configurable
Wifi STA mode: In this mode, the gateway functions as a access point and is able to connect to a
router. User can fill in the SSID and Password of the router to let gateway connect to router.
