STEP 1: (a) Lay all pieces on a smooth soft surface such as cardboard or carpet to help avoid scratching. We suggest using a 6”
#2 square drive bit to fasten all screws (available at your local hardware store). Be careful to not over tighten any of the
fasteners.
Tools Needed
Cordless Drill
6” #2 Square Drive Bit

STEP 2: (b) Insert the Seat Assembly into the mortises in one Side Assembly. (c) Fasten the Seat Assembly to the side rail with
the 1 ½” stainless steel round head screws provided.

STEP 3: (d) Use a soft hammer (if necessary) to insert the back slats and stretchers in the mortises in the Side Assembly. (e)
Place the other Side Assembly on top of the subassembly, with the mortises facing down, and then line the back slats and
stretchers up with the mortises in the Side Assembly and gently pound them in using your hand or a soft hammer. Fasten
with the 2” stainless steel flat head screws provided.

STEP 4: (f) Flip the assembly over and fasten the seat to the side rail with the 1 ½” stainless steel round head screws
provided. (g) Fasten the Side Assembly with the 2” stainless steel flat head screws provided.
