Produktbeschreibung
Emmi-skin Gold Edition ist die neueste, wirkungsvollste Art und Weise der Gesichts- und Haut-
pflege. Sie ist nach den neuesten wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnissen von deutschen Ingenieuren
entwickelt worden und nutzt die Eigenschaften moderner Ultraschalltechnologien. Dabei drin-
gen die Ultraschallwellen bis tief in die Poren ohne jeden mechanischen Druck und ohne jede
mechanische Reibung. Eine ausgesprochen sanfte und angenehme Mikromassage der Haut,
die auch bei sehr empfindlicher Haut bedenkenlos angewendet werden kann.
Die Ultraschallbehandlung führt zu einer deutlichen Verbesserung des pH-Wertes der Haut.
Dadurch werden Stoffwechselvorgänge wieder angeregt und normalisiert, die Collagensyn-
these findet wieder ausreichend statt, das Gewebe wird von innen heraus gestrafft und sieht
deutlich gesünder aus. Die Verwendung einer ausgesuchten Ultraschallcreme verstärkt die
Wirkung und erzielt einen anhaltenden Erfolg.
Der positive Effekt der Ultraschallbehandlung beruht u.a. auf der Förderung der Entlymphung
und der positiven Beeinflussung der Durchblutung, da Wirkstoffe bis in die untersten
Hautschichten transportiert werden. Die Verwendung einer Ultraschall Hyaluron Crème
strafft die Haut und bringt anhaltende Feuchte in die Haut. Die Verwendung einer Ultraschall
Hyaluron Creme strafft und bringt anhaltende Feuchtigkeit in die Haut. Die Verwendung der
Ultraschall Collagen Crème wirkt regenerierend auf die Haut. Abhängig von der Hautkonsistenz
ist es empfehlenswert, eine zweifache Kombination der drei unterschiedlichen Ultraschall Crèmes

Bestimmungsgemässer Gebrauch
Die Produkte dürfen nur für die in den Broschüren und den technischen Beschreibungen
vorgesehenen Einsatzfälle, d. h. zur Pflege der Haut, nur in Verbindung mit den von der EMAG
AG empfohlenen, bzw. zugelassenen Fremdgeräten und -Komponenten verwendet werden.
Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Benutzung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß.
Bei nicht bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrauch übernimmt die EMAG AG keine Haftung für
eventuell auftretende Schäden und keine Garantie für einwandfreies und funktionsgemäßes
Arbeiten der Komponenten. Zum bestimmungsgemäßen Gebrauch gehört auch das
Beachten aller Hinweise in der Betriebsanleitung.
Das Symbol auf den Typenschild weist auf wichtige Details hin. Der einwandfreie
und sichere Betrieb der Produkte setzt sachgemäßen Transport, sachgemäße Lagerung,
Aufstellung und Montage sowie sorgfältige Bedienung und Instandhaltung voraus. Die
wiederkehrenden Prüfungen gemäß BGV A3 sind zu beachten. Das Gerät muss so aufgestellt
werden, dass der Netzstecker der Ladestation jederzeit frei zugänglich ist.
Bestimmungswidriger Gebrauch
Bei bestimmungswidrigem Gebrauch des Produkts können sowohl Gefahren für Leib und Leben
als auch Sachbeschädigungen auftreten. Aus diesem Grund ist ein bestimmungswidriger
Gebrauch untersagt. Bei nicht bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrauch übernimmt die EMAG AG
keine Haftung für eventuell auftretende Schäden und keine Garantie für einwandfreies und
funktionsgemäßes Arbeiten der Komponenten. Um einen bestimmungswidrigen Gebrauch
des Geräts auszuschließen, sind folgende Hinweise zu beachten:
• Das Ultraschallgerät für die Gesichts- und Hautpflege darf nur mit der Netzspannung
betrieben
werden, die auf dem Typenschild (Unterseite der Ladestation) aufgedruckt ist.
• Keine brennbaren oder aggressive Chemikalien (Säuren, etc.) zur Reinigung verwenden.
• Falls Transportschäden festgestellt werden, die Ladestation nicht an das Netz anschließen.
• Das Gerät darf nur in Innenräumen bei Raumtemperatur betrieben werden.
• Das Gerät darf nur mit den in der Gebrauchsanleitung beschriebenen Ultraschallaufsätzen
benutzt werden.
Wirkungsweise
Die Ultraschalltechnik wird bereits seit Jahrzehnten u.a. in vielen medizinischen Bereichen
erfolgreich angewendet. Die Benutzung von Ultraschall für die Gesichts-, Hals- und Hautpflege
ist für den Menschen absolut unschädlich. Eine wesentliche Ursache für alternde Haut ist eine
fehlende, ausreichende Durchblutung und Atmung der Haut, aber auch des Gewebes. Dies
wird einerseits durch verhornte Hautschüppchen an der Oberfläche und andererseits durch
verstopfte Poren bis ins Innere der Haut und des Gewebes verursacht. Emmi-skin Gold Edition
erzeugt und überträgt durch die Ultraschall Crème Ultraschallwellen bis max. 72 Millionen
Schwingungen, die sowohl die abgestorbenen Hautpartikel sanft aber nachhaltig von der
gesunden Haut entfernen, als auch die Poren von Verunreinigungen durch Talk und Fett

reinigen und so Entzündungen vorbeugt. Dabei dringen die Ultraschallwellen tief in die Haut
ein und fördern so die Neubildung der Haut von innen heraus.
Unterstützt wird dies durch die als Übertragungsmedium verwendeten Ultraschall Crèmes. Bei
zweimaliger Anwendung pro Woche ist der Erfolg bereits nach kurzer Zeit deutlich zu sehen.
Ohne zu bürsten (keine Reibung) wirkt die Mikromassage, verursacht durch die Ultraschallwel-
len, ausgesprochen angenehm und erfrischend. Nach jeder Behandlung fühlt sich die Haut
erfrischt und verjüngt an. Die Wirkung hält lange Zeit an und die Haut erholt sich zusehends.
Bei sorgfältiger, wöchentlicher Hautpflege mit Emmi-skin Gold Edition werden auch Faltenrück-
bildungen deutlich erkennbar.
Für die Behandlung größerer Hautflächen – Hals und Dekolleté – Verwenden Sie den größten
Bürstenaufsatz aus dem Lieferumfang. Der Einsatz in Kontakt mit Wasser (z.B. unter der Dusche)
ist unbedenklich. Allerdings bedenken Sie bitte, die Ladestation und das dazugehörende Netz-
kabel müssen vor Feuchtigkeit und direktem Kontakt mit Wasser geschützt werden.
Anwendung
Verbinden Sie den Stecker des Netzkabels der Ladestation mit der Steckdose. Bitte beachten
Sie, dass das Gerät nur mit der Spannung betrieben werden darf, die auf dem Typenschild am
Boden der Ladestation angegeben ist.
Stellen Sie Emmi-skin Gold Edition mit dem runden Ende, Bürstenkopf oben, in die Ladestation
und laden Sie sie vor der Erstanwendung mind. 24 Stunden auf, um sicherzustellen, dass die
Batterien voll geladen sind. Während des Ladens zeigt die rote Kontrolllampe an, dass der
Ladevorgang funktioniert. Ein leichtes Brummen, Vibrieren sowie eine leichte Erwärmung des
Ultraschallgeräts beim Gebrauch sind normal. Nach jeder Anwendung wird das Handteil zum
Nachladen der verbrauchten Energie wieder in die Ladestation zurückgestellt (mit oder ohne
aufgestecktem Bürstenkopf). Bitte unbedingt darauf achten, dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist,
wenn es auf der Ladestation steht, da anderenfalls das Gerät beschädigt werden kann. Der
Ultraschall wird in den Bürstenaufsätzen erzeugt und durch die Elektronik im Handteil kontrolliert.
Daher dürfen Emmi-skin Gold Edition Bürstenaufsätze nur mit einem Emmi-skin Gold Edition
Handteil betrieben werden.
Falls Sie die Emmi-skin Gold Edition mit auf Reisen nehmen, reicht die gespeicherte Energie
des voll aufgeladenen Akkus für etwa 10 - 12 Anwendungen aus, bei einer durchschnittli-
chen Nutzungsdauer von ca. 10 Minuten pro Anwendung. Danach muss wieder eine mind.
24-stündige Grundladung erfolgen. Wir empfehlen, die Ultraschall – Reinigung der Haut
zweimal wöchentlich für ca. 10 Minuten (Gesicht) durchzuführen. Benutzen Sie die Emmi-skin
Gold Edition unter Verwendung der Emmi skin-Ultraschall-Cremes und vorheriger Befeuchtung
der Borsten mit Wasser.
Drücken Sie den Startknopf und lassen Sie nun die Ultraschallwellen wirken, indem Sie die
Borsten des Bürstenkopfes locker an die Hautpartien halten, ca. 10 Sekunden verweilen, den
Bürstenkopf dann zur nächsten Hautpartie weiterführen, erneut ca.10 Sekunden verweilen,
usw. Sie können an kritischen Stellen auch länger verweilen, dass ist unschädlich, und führt zu
einer schnelleren Wirkung. Die Ultraschall-Cremes transportieren dabei die Ultraschallwellen
auf die Haut, in die Poren und bis in die unteren Gewebeschichten der behandelten Hautpartie.
Die Ultraschall-Cremes sind ein wichtiges Übertragungsmedium.

Wir empfehlen, immer nur die Hautpartien mit Creme einzureiben, die Sie innerhalb von
ca. 2 Minuten behandeln können. Wenn Sie Ihre Haut zweimal wöchentlich auf diese Art pflegen,
erreichen Sie ein optimales Ergebnis. Emmi-skin Gold Edition wird nach der Benutzung unter
fließendem Wasser abgespült und leicht abgetrocknet in die Ladestation zurückgestellt.
Benutzung von Emmi-skin Gold Edition
1. Laden Sie das Handstück in der mitgelieferten Ladestation min. 24 Stunden auf. Jetzt ist Ihre
Emmi-skin Gold Edition für viele Tage bereit für Ihre Schönheit!
2. Setzen Sie den kleinen Ultraschallaufsatz auf das Handstück – er ist für Ihr Gesicht optimal –
den größeren Aufsatz können Sie für den Hals und Ihr Dekolleté verwenden.
Wichtig: Nicht rotieren, bürsten oder reiben, nicht bewegen – nur ganz locker
aufsetzen und ruhig halten. Emmi-skin Gold Edition wirkt über jede einzelne
Borste des Ultraschallaufsatzes, durch die Luftschwingungen lösen sich
die Hautschüppchen von allein, ein Peelingeffekt erfolgt ganz automatisch,
wie Sie im Anschluss feststellen werden! Durch den Ultraschall wird die
Ultraschall-Creme tief in die Haut eingeschleust – bis zu den untersten
Gewebeschichten.
Die Poren werden gereinigt und wachsen von unten nach oben zu. Der Ultraschall vernichtet
Bakterien und wirkt dadurch z.B. gegen Entzündungen, Akne, Mitesser und Pickel – auch
unter der Haut – und beugt der Bildung neuer Entzündungen vor. Auch Pigmentflecken im
Gesicht und an den Händen werden durch die Ultraschallbehandlung mit der Ultraschall-

5. Sie werden feststellen, wie gut ihre Haut durchblutet ist, sie sieht glatt und frisch aus. Das
können Sie zweimal oder auch öfter pro Woche wiederholen, um ein gutes Ergebnis zu
erzielen. Vielleicht vorm Schlafengehen (z.B. beim Fernsehen) oder während einer Pause. Es
ist eine unschädliche Methode, die Haut zu reinigen, zu pflegen und die Collagencreme in
Ihre Haut einzubringen!

Ultraschall-Bürstenaufsätze
Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Ultraschall-Bürstenaufsatz aus hygienischen Gründen nicht zur
Benutzung durch mehrere Personen geeignet ist. Ein und derselbe Ultraschall-Bürstenaufsatz
sollte immer nur von einer Person benutzt werden. Es wird empfohlen, den Bürstenaufsatz
nach max. 20 Behandlungen à 10 Minuten auszutauschen, um weiterhin einen optimalen
Effekt zu erreichen. Ziehen Sie dazu den alten Bürstenaufsatz ab. Drücken Sie den neuen
Bürstenaufsatz fest auf (Achtung: Schnappverschluss, bitte vorsichtig aufdrücken, klemmen Sie
dabei nicht Ihre Haut ein). Ersatz-Ultraschall-Bürstenaufsatz und kleine und große Ultraschall-
Bürstenaufsätze erhalten Sie dort, wo Sie Emmi-skin Gold Edition gekauft haben oder besuchen

Reinigung
Spülen Sie bitte den Bürstenaufsatz nach jedem Gebrauch bei eingeschaltetem Handteil
gründlich unter fließendem Wasser aus. Schalten Sie dann das Handteil aus und trocknen
Sie es. Bitte darauf achten, dass zwischen den Borsten des Bürstenaufsatzes keine Crème oder
sonstige Rückstände zurückbleiben, um bei der nächsten Benutzung nicht die Ultraschallüber-
tragung zu beeinträchtigen.
Akku-Pflege & Entsorgung
Die Akkus befinden sich in dem wasserdichten Handteil des Geräts. Das Handteil kann nach
Gebrauch wieder auf die Ladestation zurückgestellt oder, wenn voll aufgeladen, für bis zu ca.
14 Anwendungen ohne Wiederaufladung benutzt werden. Wenn die Gesamtreinigungszeit
pro Tag länger als 10 Minuten dauert – z.B. bei mehreren Benutzern –, die Akkus in einem ent-
sprechend kürzeren Zeitraum wieder aufladen. Wenn die Batterien fast entladen sind leuchtet
beim Anschalten des Gerätes anstelle der grünen Anzeige die rote Anzeige, die nach ca. 5
Sekunden zu blinken beginnt. Die Akkus müssen dann unbedingt für min. 24 Stunden wieder
aufgeladen werden. Das Gerät enthält spezielle, umweltfreundliche Ni-MH-Akkus, die nicht
über den Hausmüll entsorgt werden dürfen. Für die Entsorgung stehen Ihnen die Sammelbehälter
des GRS (Gemeinsames Rücknahme-System) sowie andere Rücknahmestellen zur Verfügung
(z.B. alle Verkaufsstellen ähnlicher Akkus).

Für dieses Produkt gilt eine Garantie von 24 Monaten ab Kaufdatum. Defekte, die während
dieser Garantiezeit in Form von Material- und / oder Herstellungsfehlern auftreten, werden
kostenfrei, entweder durch Reparatur oder durch Ersatzlieferung behoben.
Soweit gesetzlich zulässig, sind andere Ersatzansprüche ausgeschlossen. Die Garantie-
leistung entfällt beim Eingreifen Dritter bzw. bei Demontage von Seiten Dritter ohne unsere
vorherige Zustimmung. Die Garantieleistung entfällt auch bei willkürlicher Beschädigung oder
fehlerhafter Handhabung.
Bei Erbringung einer Garantieleistung verlängert sich der Garantiezeitraum nicht.
Für nicht gerechtfertigte Reklamationen, z.B. Installations- bzw. Bedienungsfehler behalten wir

Product description
Emmi-skin Gold Edition is the latest, most effective method of facial and skin care. It has been
developed by German engineers in accordance with the latest scientific knowledge and utilises
the characteristics of modern ultrasonic technologies. Ultrasound frequency and transfer
mediums have been adopted to each other in a way to optimize the effect. The ultrasound waves
penetrate deep into the pores without any mechanical pressure and without any mechanical
friction.
These features a decidedly gentle and pleasant micro-massage of the skin which can also be
applied Unhesitatingly with very sensitive skin. The ultrasonic treatment leads to a considerable
improvement of pH value. As a result, metabolic processes are stimulated again and normali-
zed, sufficient collagen synthesis takes place again, and the facial tissue is lifted from inside
and looks much healthier. The utilization of an ultrasound Collagen cream strengthens the
effect even more and attains a lasting success.
The utilization of an ultrasound Hyaluron cream strengthen the skin and makes it lasting humid.
The use of an ultrasound silicium is effective in case of deep crinkles and evens the skin.
Depending on the consistency of the skin, it is recommended to use a combination of two of the
different creams. Among other things, the positive effect of the ultrasonic treatment is based
on the promotion of lymphatic drainage and the positive influence on blood circulation, because

The products may only be utilised for cases of application intended in the catalogues and

components recommended or approved by EMAG AG. Any other use or additional use is
not considered to be the intended use. In the event of unintended use, EMAG AG does not
assume any liability for possibly arising damages and no guarantee for flawless and correct
functioning of components. Observance of all details in the operating instructions also belongs
to intended use. The symbol on the identification plate refers to this. The flawless and safe
operation of products presupposes appropriate transport, storage, installation and assembly
as well as careful operation and maintenance. The recurring tests in accordance with the
German Occupational Health & Safety Regulation BGV A3 are to be heeded.The device must be
installed so that the charging station’s power plug is freely accessible at any time.

Improper use
Dangers to life and limb as well as dangers to property can arise with improper use of the product.
Improper use is prohibited for this reason. In the event of unintended use, EMAG AG does not
assume any liability for possibly arising damages and no guarantee for flawless and correct
functioning of components.
In order to preclude an improper use of the device, the following details are to be observed:
The ultrasonic device for facial and skin care may only be operated (in a grounded safety socket)
with the mains voltage in which is printed on the identifi cation plate (underside of the charging
station).
Do not use any combustible or aggressive chemicals (acids, etc.) for cleaning.
If transport damages are detected, do not connect the charging station to the mains.
The device may only be operated in interior rooms at room temperature. The device may only
be utilised with the ultrasound attachments described in these operating instructions.
Mode of operation
Ultrasound technology has already been successfully applied for decades, among other
things in many medical fields. The use of ultrasound for facial, neck and skin care is absolutely
harmless for human beings. An essential cause of ageing skin is a lack of sufficient blood
circulation and respiration of the skin, but also the tissue. This is caused on the one hand by
horny skin scales on the surface and on the other hand by clogged pores inside the skin and
tissue. Emmi-skin Gold Edition generates and transmits – by means of the ultrasound creams
– ultrasonic waves up to a max. 72 million oscillations per minute, which gently but lastingly
remove dead skin particles from the healthy skin and also clean the pores of impurities such
as sebum, fat and inflammations.
In the process, the ultrasonic waves penetrate deep into the skin and thus promote the skin’s
regeneration from inside out. This is supported by the ultrasound creams utilized among others
as transmission medium (the effect of the relevant creams are well-known). Success can already
be clearly seen after a short time with application twice a week. The micro-massage caused
by the ultrasonic waves functions without brushing (no friction), and is decidedly pleasant and
refreshing.
The skin feels refreshed and rejuvenated after every treatment. The effect lasts a long time and
the skin is noticeably relaxed. Degeneration of wrinkles becomes clearly recognisable with
careful weekly skin care with Emmi-skin Gold Edition. For the treatment of larger skin areas –
e.g. the neck and décolleté – you can use the larger ultrasound brush attachment. Utilization
in contact with water (e.g. under the shower) is harmless. But please bear in mind that the
charging base and the corresponding power cable must be protected against moisture and
direct contact with water.

Usage
Connect the charging station’s power cable plug with the socket. Please note that the device
may only be operated with the voltage which is indicated on the identification plate (on the
underside of the charging station).
Place the Emmi-skin Gold Edition in the charging station with the round end (brush head facing
upward), and charge it for min. 24 hours before the first use in order to ensure that the batteries
are fully charged. During the charging, the red pilot lamp indicates that the charging process
is functioning. A slight hum, vibration and a slight warming of the ultrasonic brush during use
are normal. The handpiece is put back in the charging station (with or without brush head
inserted) for recharging of consumed energy after each usage. Please absolutely make sure
that the device is turned off when it is in the charging station, otherwise the device can be
damaged. The ultrasound is generated in the brush attachments and controlled through the
electronics in the handpiece. That is why Emmi-skin Gold Edition brush attachments may only be
operated with an Emmi-skin Gold Edition handpiece. If you take the Emmi-skin Gold Edition
with you while travelling, the stored energy of the fully charged battery lasts for about 10-12
applications with an average usage period of ca. 10 minutes. A min. 24 hour bulk charge has
to take place again after that.
We recommend carrying out the ultrasonic skin cleansing twice a week for ca. 10 minutes (face).
Use Emmi-skin Gold Edtion together with Emmi ultrasound creams and by moistening the bristles
with water beforehand. Now press the start button and allow the ultrasonic waves to take effect
by loosely holding the bristles of the brush head against the skin areas. Hold this position for
ca. 20 seconds.
Continue with the brush head towards the next skin area; hold this position again for ca. 20 se-
conds, and so on. You can also stay longer on critical spots; this is harmless, but leads to a
faster effect. At the same time, the ultrasound creams transport the ultrasonic waves to the
skin, into the pores and down into the lower tissue layers of the treated skin area.
Ultrasound creams are an important transmission medium We recommend always rubbing
only the skin areas which you are able to treat within ca. 2 minutes with ultrasound cream. You
will achieve an optimal result if you care for your skin twice a week in this manner. Emmi-skin
Gold Edition is rinsed off under running water after use, lightly dried and put back in the charging
station.
Use of Emmi-Skin Gold Edition
1. Charge the handpiece for min. 24 hours in the supplied charging station. Now your Emmi-skin
Gold Edition is ready for many days for your beauty!
2. Place the small ultrasound attachment on the handpiece. It is optimal for your face. You can
utilise the larger attachment for the neck and your décolleté.
Cleanse and dry your face as usual, and then spread the supplied ultrasound cream on the
dry face. While doing so, always put cream only on the area (4.) which you are able to treat
within 2 to 3 minutes (e.g. forehead, then area next to and under the eyes, then left cheek,

right cheek, etc.).
You will notice how pleasant your skin feels through the ultrasound cream.
Important: do not rotate, brush or bristles and do not move – merely place very loosely
and hold steadily. Emmi-skin ultrasound functions via every single bristle of the ultrasound
attachment. The skin scales dissolve on their own due to the air oscillations. As you will notice
afterwards, a peeling effect occurs automatically! Due to the ultrasound, the ultrasound cream
infiltrates deep into the skin, down to the lowest layers of tissue.
The pores are cleansed and washed from bottom to top. The ultrasound destroys bacteria, where
by inflammations such as acne, blackheads and pimples – also under the skin – disappear and
the formation of new inflammations is prevented. Pigmented spots in the face and on the hands
are also moderated through the ultrasonic treatment with ultrasound cream.
3. Now hold the bristles of the switched-on Emmi-skin Gold Edition device against the areas
marked with numbers as follows:
No. 1 hold between the
eyebrows and count slowly
from 8 –10 (8 – 10 seconds).
No. 2 over the left, then over the

No. 14 then work on the décolleté with the larger ultrasound attachment. Here you will notice
how nicely the air oscillations of your Emmi-skin Gold Edition ultrasonic device soak into
the skin: a slight vibration can be felt.

Ultrasound brush attachments
Please note that for hygienic reasons the ultrasound brush attachment is not suitable for use
by several people. The same ultrasound brush attachment should always be used by one person.
It is recommended to replace the brush attachment after max. 20 treatments (at 10 minutes
each) in order to attain an optimal effect. Remove the old brush attachment for this purpose.
Firmly press the new brush attachment down (caution: there is a snap lock; please press down
carefully, do not pinch your skin while doing so). You can obtain a replacement ultrasound brush
attachment and larger ultrasound brush attachments where you purchased your Emmi-skin
Gold Edition; or visit our Internet shop at www.emmi-dent.de.
Cleaning
Please rinse the brush attachment thoroughly under running water with the handpiece switched
on after every use. Then turn the handpiece off and dry it off. Please make sure that no cream
or other residues remain between the bristles of the brush attachment so that the ultrasound
transmission is not impaired during the next use.
Battery care & disposal
The batteries are in the device’s waterproof handpiece. After use, the handpiece can be
placed back in the charging station again, or if it is fully charged, it can be used for up to ca. 14
applications without recharging.
If the total cleaning time lasts longer than 10 minutes per day (e.g. with several users), recharge
the batteries in an appropriately shorter period of time. If the batteries are low, the red light
below the ON/OFF switch will go alight (instead of the green one) and will start flashing after 5
seconds. The Device then must be recharged for min. 24 hours before using it again. The device
contains special environmentally-friendly Ni-MH batteries which may not be disposed of with
household waste. In Germany, the collection containers of the GRS Batteries Foundation shall
be used (common collection system) and other collection points (e.g. all points of sale for similar
batteries) are available for disposal.
