Bedienungsanleitung / User instruction guide
Einführung
Mit diesem Netzgerät haben Sie ein Produkt erworben, welches
nach dem heutigen Stand der Technik gebaut wurde.
Der Aufbau entspricht der Schutzklasse I gemäß VDE 0411. Dar-
überhinaus ist es funkentstört nach VDE 0871 Kurve B. Das Produkt
entspricht damit den Anforderungen der geltenden europäischen
und nationalen Richtlinien.
Um diesen Zustand zu erhalten und einen gefahrlosen Betrieb
sicherzustellen, müssen Sie als Anwender diese Bedienungsan-
leitung beachten!
Vorgeschriebene Verwendung
Anschluß und Betrieb von Niederspannungsverbrauchern an einer
DC-Betriebsspannung mit den angegebenen Werten nur an den
dafür vorgesehenen und bezeichneten Anschlußbuchsen.
Das Gerät ist nur für den Anschluß an 90...264V / 50-60Hz Wech-
selspannung und nur für Schutzkontaktsteckdosen zugelassen.
Die Verwendung ist nur in geschlossenen Räumen, also nicht im
Freien, erlaubt.
Eine anderweitige Verwendung als zuvor beschrieben führt zur
Beschädigung des Produktes und ist mit Gefahren, wie z.B. Kurz-
schluß, Brand, elektrischem Schlag usw. verbunden. Das Produkt
darf nicht geändert bzw. umgebaut und das Gehäuse nicht geöffnet
werden!
Alle Sicherheitshinweise müssen unbedingt beachtet werden!
Hinweise zum Gebrauch
Vor Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes sollte es einschließlich des Netz-
kabels auf Beschädigungen überprüft werden. Falls Schäden fest-
gestellt werden, darf es nicht mit dem Netz verbunden werden.
Eine Reparatur oder Kalibrierung darf nur im Herstellerwerk
erfolgen. Eine Sicherung ist im Gerät eingebaut, die nur im
Herstellerwerk ausgewechselt werden darf. Elektrische Ge-
räte, die an Netzspannung betrieben werden, dürfen nicht in
Kinderhände gelangen und sind von ihnen fernzuhalten.
Netz
Der Netzanschluß erfolgt über das mitgelieferte Netzkabel (3 x
0,75mm2) welches mit einem Schutzkontaktstecker versehen ist.
Das Gerät verfügt auf der Rückseite über einen Netzschalter. So-
bald das Gerät eingeschaltet wird leuchtet auf der Front die rote LED
„Netz“ auf. Die DC-Ausgangsspannung steht jetzt an den beiden
Ausgangsklemmen auf der Front zur Verfügung.
DC Ausgang
Die Ausgangsspannung kann im Bereich von –10% und +20%
eingestellt werden. Ein Potentiometer hierfür bendet sich auf
der Unterseite. Die Ausgangsspannung ist galvanisch vom Netz
getrennt. Der DC-Ausgang ist nicht abgesichert, jedoch kurzschluß-
bzw. überlastfest.
Der Anschluß des Verbrauchers (Last) erfolgt an den Ausgangs-
klemmen an der Frontseite. Die Klemmen sind mit (+) und (–)
gekennzeichnet.
Fernfühler (Sense)
Das Gerät ist zur Ausregelung von Spannungsabfällen auf den
Lastleitungen mit einer Fernfühlung (Sense) ausgerüstet. Hierzu
wird das mitgelieferte Sensekabel in die Buchse „Remote Sense“
auf der Front gesteckt und die freien Enden mit der Last verbunden
(+ Last an + Sense und – Last an – Sense).
Bei Betrieb ohne Sense ist das Sensekabel aus der Buchse heraus-
zuziehen. Es sind keine weiteren Verbindungen notwendig.
Strombegrenzung
Das Gerät ist mit einer automatischen Strombegrenzung ausgerü-
stet, welche bei zu hohen Ausgangsströmen auf den Maximalwert
begrenzt.
Belüftung
Das Gerät ist mit einem Lüfter ausgestattet, der temperaturabhän-
gig gesteuert ist. Es ist zu beachten, daß überall wo Lufteintritte
oder –austritte sind mindestens 5 cm Abstand zu benachbarten
Gegenständen eingehalten werden müssen.
Die natürliche Luftzirkulation darf an den Belüftungsöffnungen
nicht behindert wer den!
Introduction
With this power supply you have purchased a product which was
manufactured and designed according to the state of the art.
The construction conforms to protection class 1 according to VDE
0411. The radio suppression conforms to VDE 0871 curve B. So the
product is suited to all european and german guidelines.
In order to maintain this state for a hazard-free operation, these
instructions have to be read and followed carefully.
Required operation
Connecting and operating low voltage loads with an operating volt-
age as specied on the type label is done via the dedicated output
sockets.
The unit must only be connected to a mains voltage of 90...264V /
50-60Hz AC via a protection socket.
The unit may only be used in closed rooms, not in the open.
Other usage as described before will cause damage to the product
and is connected with danger as, for instance, short-circuit, re,
electric shock etc. It is not allowed to make changes to the unit or
to open the case!
It is absolutely necessary to observe all safety instructions!
Operation instructions
Before taking the unit into operation it is necessary to inspect the
housing and the mains cable for signs of physical damage. The
equipment should also not be connected to the mains if a damage
was found.
Equipment which is operated from a mains voltage does not
belong into children‘s hands! Any necessary repair must, for
safety reasons, only be carried out by the manufacturer.
The internal fuse may not be replaced by the user.
Mains connection
The unit is connected to the mains via the supplied mains cable with
a safety contact mains plug. On the rear there is the mains switch.
If this switch is in „On“ position, the red LED on the front is lit and
the output voltage is available.
DC output voltage
The output voltage is adjustable by the user within the range of
–10% and +20% by means of a plastic screw driver.
The adjustment potentiometer is on the bottom side. The output
voltage is galvanically isolated from the mains input. The DC output
is not fused, but short-circuit-proof and overload protected.
The load has to be connected to the screw terminals on the front.
The terminals are marked with (+) and (–).
Remote Sense
In order to compensate voltage drops over the load cables, the unit
is equipped with a remote sense feature. To activate the remote
sense, plug in the included sense cable into the socket on the front
panel and connect it to the load (+ load to + sense and – load to
– sense).
If no remote sense is required just remove the plug and the sense
cable and disconnect it from the load. No other wiring is required.
Current Limiting
The unit is equipped with an automatic current limitation, which limits
the output current to the rated value and prevents overload.
Cooling
The built-in fan is temperature controlled.
It is important that the air circulation remains unimpeded at all times
and that there is at least 5cm distance to any surrounding object!
