Vor Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes sollten das Gehäuse, die
Bedien- und Anzeigeelemente sowie das Netzkabel auf Be-
schädigung hin untersucht werden. Falls eine Beschädigung
erkennbar ist, sollte das Gerät nicht mit dem Netz verbunden
werden.
Achtung! Das Gerät darf nicht geöffnet werden!
Reparatur, Wartung oder Kalibrierung dürfen nur durch eine
Fachkraft erfolgen. Der Anschluß des Gerätes darf nur an
eine Schutzkontaktsteckdose (230V/50Hz) erfolgen. Falls ein
Austausch der Sicherung notwendig ist, nur eine Sicherung
gleichen Typs und Stromwertes verwenden. Dabei muß das
Gerät vom Netz getrennt sein.
Die natürliche Luftzirkulation darf an den Belüftungsöffnungen
nicht behindert wer den. Der Anschluß der zu speisenden Last
erfolgt an den entsprechend bezeichneten Ausgangsbuchsen
(AC = Wechselstrom, DC = Gleichstrom +/-) an der Frontseite.
Betrieb
Das Netzgerät EA-3050B liefert vier verschiedene Aus-
gangsspannungen, welche an der Front des Gerätes je nach
Schalterstellung zur Verfügung stehen.
Am DC Ausgang steht eine Gleichspannung von entweder
0...30VDC oder 0...300VDC zur Verfügung. Die Gleichspannung
am DC Ausgang kann ungesiebt oder gesiebt entnommen
werden, je nach Wahl mit Schalter "Smoothing".
Am AC Ausgang steht eine Wechselspannung von entweder
0...30VAC oder 0...300VAC zur Verfügung.
Zur Umschaltung der Spannungsbereiche muß das Gerät
ausgeschaltet sein!
Der maximale Ausgangsstrom ist durch einen thermischen
Schalter auf 5A begrenzt.
Die Ausgänge sind galvanisch vom Netzeingang getrennt.
Falls es notwendig ist, kann ein Pol der Ausgänge mit der
Erdbuchse auf der Front geerdet werden. Die Erdbuchse ist
mit dem Schutzleiter des Netzeingangs verbunden.
Die Ausgangsspannungen können je nach Bedarf mit dem
Reglerknopf auf der Frontplatte eingestellt werden.
Anzeige bei "Smoothing on"
Volt- und Amperemeter zeigen die gesiebten Ausgangswerte
des DC-Ausganges an. Die Spannung am AC-Ausgang ist
dann geringer als angezeigt und sollte zur Kontrolle mit einem
externen Multimeter nachgemessen werden.
Anzeige bei "Smoothing off"
Volt- und Amperemeter zeigen die ungesiebten Ausgangswerte
des AC-Ausganges an. Die Ausgangswerte am DC-Ausgang
(pulsierende Gleichspannung) sind dann deutlich geringer
und sollte zur Kontrolle mit einem externen Multimeter nach-
gemessen werden.
Before taking the unit into operation, it is necessary to inspect
the housing, the controls etc. for signs of physical damage. If
any physical damage has been found, the equipment should
not be connected to the mains.
Warning! Do not open the unit!
Servicing, repairs or calibrations should only be carried out
by trained engineers. The unit may only be operated using a
proper ly wired and grounded mains plug as the grounding of
the unit is done via the ground lead of the power cable. The
unit must only be operated with the voltage stipulated on the
type plate. Iin case it is necessary to change the fuse, it is
imperative that it is only replaced by one of same value and
physical dimensions as the originally supplied fuse. The unit
must be disconnected from the mains whilst replacing the
fuse. It is important that the air circulation remains unimpeded
at all times.
Operation
The power supply provides four different output voltages
(selectable by switch), which are available on the front outputs.
The DC output provides either DC voltage of 0...30VDC or
0...300VDC. The DC voltage can be put out smoothed or
unsmoothed, depending on the selection by toggle switch
"Smoothing".
The AC output provides an AC voltage of 0...30VAC resp.
0...300VAC.
In order to switch the two voltage ranges, the unit must
be switched off!
The maximum output current is limited by a thermic switch.
The outputs are isolated from the mains. It is possible to con-
nect one of the output lines with ground by using the ground
socket on the front panel. This socket is connected to the
earth wire of the mains connector.
The output voltages can be adjusted with the knob on the
front panel.
Voltage indication at "Smoothing on"
In this mode, the integrated meters indicate the smoothed
values of voltage and current at the DC output. The values
of the AC output will be less than indicated and thus it is
recommended to measure them with an external multimeter
for verication.
Voltage indication at "Smoothing off"
In this mode, the integrated meters indicate the unsmoothed
values of voltage and current at the AC output. The values
at the DC output (alternating DC voltage) will then be signi-
cantly lower and it is recommended to measure them with
an external multimeter for verication.
