Photon™Processor & Light Tip Charger
Charger Indicator Lights What It Means
Single ashing

Charger is attempting to connect with
the Processor
One solid blue light Battery is charging and less than
33% charged
Two solid blue lights Battery is charging and is 33% charged
Three solid blue lights Battery is charging and is 66% charged
Four solid blue lights Battery is fully charged
Four ashing
blue lights
Charger is unable to connect with the
Processor and is not charging

Place Processor and Light Tip into charging slots before bedtime.
•
Wait until the indicator light turns solid to ensure the Processor
is charging.
•
It takes 4 hours to charge a fully depleted Processor.
•
The Processor is OFF when removed from
the Charger.
Turn ON: Press and hold any user control
button for 3 seconds.
Turn OFF: Press and hold the bottom user
control button for 3 seconds.
•
You can wear the device during your waking
hours. The battery will last an average of
24 hours or more.
•
Consult the Earlens Hearing Aid User Manual for
instructions on program and volume changes.

This Quick Start Guide is not intended to replace the Earlens Hearing Aid Patient Instructions For Use (IFU). Review the IFU for complete warnings, precautions and user instructions.
To keep the Lens in place and functioning
properly, it is recommended that you apply
2 drops of mineral oil to your ear canal once
a week unless otherwise instructed by your
Ear, Nose & Throat physician.
Contact your hearing professional if:
•
any component of the Earlens Hearing Aid fails to
operate or appears damaged.
•
you experience discomfort or discharge from your ear.

Never insert foreign objects into
your ear, such as Q-tips, bobby
pins or your ngernails. Insertion of
foreign objects could result in pain,
may damage your ear or may cause
damage to the Lens.
Use a soft cloth to clean the Light
Tip, Processor and Charger. Do not
use chemicals or abrasive material
on any of the components as they
may cause damage.
1Tilt your head to
the side.
2Apply drops of oil at the
entrance of your ear
canal. Allow the drops to
run down to the eardrum
by keeping your head
tilted for one minute.
3Repeat for your
opposite ear.
