About this User Guide
•Please read and follow these instructions before installing and operating the system. If
any part of this user guide is not clear, you may contact technical support for
clarification.
•This user guide provides the information necessary to install and use Noomi device,
Noomi cradle (wall-mount) and Noomi sensor. For integration with the remote display,
registration of your device and sending information to the Cloud, please refer to the
online integration guide:

•Heed all warnings and cautions.
General Safety Guidelines
•Install the EarlySense Noomi device according to manufacturer’s instructions.
•Do not cover or block any ventilation openings of the device.
•Do not install the device near any heat sources such as radiators, lit candles, ovens,
stoves or other devices that produce heat.
•Keep the Noomi device and its components dry. Do not use it near water.
•Clean the device and its components according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
•The EarlySense Noomi device is intended for indoor use only. Do not use the system
outdoors without proper protection against mist or rain.
•Use the Noomi device only with the Noomi cradle and Noomi Sensor; usage of non-
suitable components or accessories can be dangerous and can damage the device.
•If the sensor connecting cord is damaged, it should be replaced by a special cord available
from the manufacturer or the service agent.
•If the device was dropped or came in contact with liquid, check all components for the
damage. Do not use a damaged device, specifically if the power cord or power plug were
damaged. Use of damaged components may result in malfunctioning of the system and
can be dangerous.
•Do not take apart the device, cradle or sensor in any way. Do not try to service or
repair the device. Device should be serviced and repaired by qualified personnel.

•Protect the power cord from being walked on, pulled, pinched or torn.
•Use and store the device only at the recommended operation and storage conditions.
Do not expose it to extreme cold, hot or humid environments.
•Mounting the Noomi cradle to the wall should be performed by mechanical experts of
the institution or qualified personnel. EarlySense Ltd. is not responsible for any harm or
damage related to wrongful attachment.
•Do not place the Noomi device over the head of the person lying in bed.
•The mains plug is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain
readily operable.
•This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product by a
person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.

EarlySense Noomi Components
The system consists of a Noomi device, Noomi sensor, connected by a cable and the
Noomi cradle.
The Noomi cradle is an accessory to allow mounting the EarlySense Noomi device to the
wall by screws versus at a power outlet.

CAUTION
Do not place Noomi device
directly above the head of the person lying in the
bed.
Installing the Noomi Cradle
1.
Install the Noomi cradle on the wall using screws:
i.
Remove the three caps located on the cradle's front panel.
ii.
Use the screws and the wall plugs available in the cradle package in order
to fix the Cradle to the wall.
iii.
Place the caps back in their holes.
2.
Attach the EarlySense Noomi device to the cradle as shown in illustrations below.
A click should be heard when the Noomi device is properly secured in the cradle.

Positioning the Noomi Sensor Unit
1. Take the Noomi sensor with the label “This
side up” positioned upwards and place it
horizontally under the mattress in the general
chest area of the person lying in bed.
2. Secure the sensor’s cord at the top of the
bed to prevent tripping when the person
exits the bed.
3. Connect the Noomi sensor connector to the
Noomi device.
4. Once the sensor has been properly connected,
plug the power cable to the power outlet. It is
now safe to operate the Noomi device

Cleaning and Disinfecting the Noomi Device, Cradle and Sensor
Cleaning detergents such as soft wipes containing alcohol, Chlorhexidine, Peroxide and
bleach material or slightly damp cloth/wipes containing anti-septic substances can be used.
Please ensure that the components are dry before re-use. Avoid excessive liquids.
CAUTION
Never open the Noomi Device or Noomi Cradle housing
as this may damage
it.
Handle the Noomi components with care. Do not drop, knock, or shake it.
Do not clean the device while in use, first detach it from the power supply.
Avoid splashing liqui
ds on any part of the system.
