Risk of scalding if hose is exposed to direct sunlight for a long period.
This hose reel is for outdoor home applicaons only. Use only cold water. Not
for commercial applicaons.
Before use, ensure the hose reel is securely mounted to the mounng device.
Regularly inspect the mounng device and hose reel casing for signs of undue
wear.
Do not mount the hose reel in a locaon that is decient of any shade. Excess
heat from the sun may result in wear and possible damage of the hose reel.
Do not allow children near the hose reel at any me.
Once the hose reel is mounted, do not apply any extra weight to the unit. This
may result in breakage to the unit or the mounng device.

Save these instrucons and review frequently prior to use and when
instrucng others.
When rewinding the hose, always slowly walk it back to the reel. Never let
go of the hose while it is rewinding.
Always turn o the water at the tap when the hose reel is not in use.
Release any remaining water from the hose before leaving for storage.
During winter or when the temperature reaches 32 degrees Fahrenheit or
colder, remove the hose reel from the mounng device and store indoors.
Leaving the hose reel out during extreme weather will result in wear and
possible damage to the hose reel, voiding the warranty.
Store the metal hose nozzle indoors in a cool, dry place when not in use.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Select a suitable posion to mount your hose reel.
The hose reel must be mounted on a sturdy surface
(brick wall, solid wood post, etc). The Hose Reel
should be mounted at approximately waist height.
Align the back of the hose reel with the wall bracket.
Insert the securing pin through the holes in the
bracket.
Aach the 15 foot inlet hose to your tap with the
male to female adapter (part E). Test to ensure the
hose reel rotates freely 180 degrees with the inlet
hose connected
YOUR HOSE REEL IS NOW FULLY ASSEMBLED
STEP 1
Using the bracket as a template, mark the locaon of
the screws. Ensure the bracket is level. Drill four 2”
deep holes in the marked locaon. Insert the wall
plugs.
Re-align the bracket to the four holes. Ensure the
bracket is level. Fasten the screws into the wall plugs
unl the bracket is secured.

Aach the hose gun to the hose end using the male
to male (part D) quick connect adapter

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Turn the water on at the tap
When you are ready to re-wind the hose, gently tug
the hose away from the reel. You will feel the hose
start to retract back into the reel. Slowly walk back
towards the reel.
NOTE: Do not release hold of the hose as it is
retracng. The hose may ip up into the air as it is
pulled back up into the reel. This could cause
damage to the HOSE reel or to any surrounding
objects.
If the hose has goen dirty during use, you may re-
move the gate on the front of the hose reel and rinse
o the hose inside.
STEP 1
Take hold of the hose and slowly walk away from the
hose reel. The hose will unwind and the water will
ow through the hose
The automac locking ratchet will lock the hose in
place at your desired length. You may hear a ‘click as
the hose is locked in place.

When you are nished, turn the water o at the tap
and release any sing water in the hose using the
hose nozzle.

The Great States Corp. (GSC) warrants to the original owner that this Earthwise product and service part is free from defects in
materials and workmanship and agrees to repair or replace any defecve product or part for the warranty period as stated above.
• Warranty voided if used for commercial or industrial purposes or any other improper use as determined by GSC.
• Warranty does not include repairs necessary due to operator’s abuse or negligence ), or the failure to assemble, operate, main-
tain or store the product according to the instrucons in the owner’s manual.
• This warranty does not cover damage caused by cold, heat, rain, excessive humidity or other environmental extremes.
• This warranty does not cover normal deterioraon of the exterior nish or normal wear and tear on the products including, but
not limited to scratches, cracks, dents, or damage caused by outside chemicals.
• This warranty is not transferable and only applies to new products sold directly from an authorized retailer. This warranty does
not apply to any product, new or used, purchased through unauthorized third-party channels. For informaon on authorized

• Any incidental, indirect or consequenal loss, damage, or expense that may result from any defect or malfuncon of the prod-
ucts is not covered by the warranty.
• The warranty does not include installaon, assembly or normal adjustments explained in the owner’s manual. The expense of
delivering the product to the vendor and the expense of returning the product or replacement parts to the owner is not covered
by the warranty.
Addional Warranty Limitaons
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitaon on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitaon may not apply to
you. Products sold damaged or incomplete, sold ―as is, or sold as recondioned are not covered under the warranty.
Damage or liability caused by shipping, improper handling, improper assembly, improper modicaon or the use of accessories and/or
aachments not specically recommended is not covered by this warranty.
Proof of purchase, original dated sales receipt, must accompany all warranty claims.
