•El diseño de los botones de su unidad puede ser algo distinto al de los ejemplos.
Si la unidad interior no cuenta con una función en concreto, pulsar ese botón del
mando no tiene efecto alguno.
Si hay una gran diferencia entre el Manual del mando a distancia y el Manual de

CONSEJOS DE USO DEL MANDO
•El mando se debe usar a un máximo de 8
metros de la unidad.
La unidad pita cuando recibe la señal del
mando a distancia.
Las cortinas y otros materiales y la luz
directa del sol puede interferir con la señal.
Retire las pilas si el mando no se va a usar
en más de 2 meses.

Poner y sustituir las pilas
Algunos modelos de este aparato incluyen
dos pilas. Póngalas en el mando antes de
proceder a su uso.

Deslice hacia abajo la tapa del mando para
descubrir el compartimento de las pilas.
Introduzca las pilas, encajando los extremos
(+) y (-) de las pilas con los símbolos del
interior del compartimento.
Vuelva a colocar la tapa en su sitio.

Para un rendimiento óptimo del aparato:
• No mezcle pilas viejas y nuevas o pilas de
distinto tipo.
• No deje las pilas dentro del mando si no
planea usarlo durante más de dos meses.

Consulte la normativa local para el reciclaje
de pilas.
Manejo del mando a distancia
NOTAS SOBRE EL USO DEL MANDO
El dispositivo debe cumplir con las regulaciones
locales y nacionales.
Este equipo genera, usa y puede irradiar energía
de radiofrecuencia y, si no se instala y usa de
acuerdo con las instrucciones, puede causar
interferencias en otras comunicaciones de radio.
Sin embargo, no hay garantía de que no se
produzcan interferencias al recibir señales de
radio y televisión, lo que se puede verificar
apagando y volviendo a encender el equipo. Se
recomienda al usuario que intente corregir la
interferencia siguiendo estos pasos:
Reorientar o reubicar la antena receptora.
Aumente la separación entre el equipo y el
receptor.
Conecte el equipo a una toma de corriente en
un circuito diferente al que está conectado el
receptor.
Consulte con el distribuidor o con un técnico
autorizado de radio / TV para obtener ayuda.
Cualquier cambio o modificación no aprobada
por la parte responsable del cumplimiento del
dispositivo puede anular la autoridad del usuario
para operar el dispositivo.

Botones y funciones

sólo de refrigeración, ya que el modo bomba de calor
no funciona en ese modelo
TIMER ON: Configura el temporizador de encendido
de la unidad (ver Uso de las funciones básicas
para más detalles).
SWING: Inicia y detiene la oscilación de la lama.
Mantenga pulsado 2 segundos para iniciar el swing
horizontal automático (algunos modelos).

pulsando 5 veces sube 2.5h, y pulsando 10 veces sube 5h). El temporizador vuelve a 0 después de 24.
2. Cancele estas funciones ajustando el temporizador a 0h.

Función I SENSE (según modelo)
Función SLEEP
SLEEP
La función SLEEP se usa para ahorrar energía durante las horas de sueño, cuando no se
necesitan los mismos ajustes de temperatura para mantener el confort. Esta función sólo puede
activarse con el mando. La función SLEEP no está disponible en los modos FAN o DRY.
Consulte el manual de instrucciones del producto para más detalles.
Cuando se activa la función I SENSE, se muestra la temperatura real de
su ubicación en la pantalla del mando. El mando enviará esta señal al aparato
cada 3 minutos hasta que se pulse el botón I SENSE de nuevo.
NOTA: Pulse este botón durante 7 segundos para iniciar o detener la función
de memoria de la función I SENSE.
•Si se activa la función de memoria, se muestra "On" durante 3 segundos en la pantalla.
•Si se desactiva la función de memoria, se muestra "Of" durante 3 segundos en la pantalla.
•Mientras la función de memoria esté activada, aunque pulse el botón ON/OFF, cambie el
modo o aunque haya un corte de corriente, la función I SENSE no se desactivará.
Uso de las funciones avanzadas
Swing function
Pulse el botón SWING
La lama horizontal se mueve arriba y abajo
automáticamente al pulsar SWING. Pulse
de nuevo para detenerlo.
Pulse el botón durante 2 segundos para activar
la función del swing horizontal (según modelo).

Función SHORTCUT (según modelo)
SHORT CUT
Se puede usar para restablecer los
ajustes actuales o volver a ajustes
previos.
Pulse este botón con el mando encendido, y el sistema volverá automáticamente a los ajustes
previos, incluidos el modo de funcionamiento, temperatura de consigna, nivel de velocidad del
ventilador y función SLEEP (si estaba activa).
Si lo pulsa durante más de 2 segundos, el sistema restablecerá automáticamente todos los
ajustes de funcionamiento actuales, incluido el modo de funcionamiento, temperatura de
consigna, velocidad del ventilador y función SLEEP (si está activa).
Función FP
La unidad funcionará a velocidad alta (con el
compresor en marcha) y la temperatura se
ajustará automáticamente a 8ºC/46ºF.

Nota: Esta función sólo es para aires acondicionados con bomba de calor.
Pulse 2 veces este botón durante un segundo en el modo HEAT a una temperatura de
consigna de 17ºC/62ºF para activar la función FP.
Pulse los botones On/Off, Sleep, Mode, Fan o Temp. durante el funcionamiento para
cancelar esta función.

•Button designs on your unit may differ slightly from the example shown.
If the indoor unit does not have a particular function, pressing that function’s button on
the remote control will have no effect.
When there are wide differentces between “Remote controller Manual” and “USER’S

The remote control must be used within 8

The unit will beep when remote signal is
received.
Curtains, other materials and direct sunlight
can interfere with the infrared signal receiver.
Remove batteries if the remote will not be
used more than 2 months.

Inserting and Replacing Batteries
Your air conditioning unit may come with two
batteries(some units). Put the batteries in the
remote control before use.
1. Slide the back cover from the remote control
downward, exposing the battery compartment.
Insert the batteries, paying attention to match
up the (+) and (-) ends of the batteries with
the symbols inside the battery compartment.
Slide the battery cover back into place.

BATTERY NOTES
For optimum product performance:
• Do not mix old and new batteries, or
batteries of different types.

Do not leave batteries in the remote control
if you don’t plan on using the device for more
than 2 months.

municipal waste. Refer to local laws for proper
disposal of batteries.

Buttons and Functions
Before you begin using your new air conditioner, make sure to familiarize yourself with its
remote control. The following is a brief introduction to the remote control itself. For instructions
on how to operate your air conditioner, refer to the How to Use Basic Functions section of this
manual.
ON/OFF: Turns the unit on or off.
MODE: Scrolls through operation modes as follows:
SWING: Starts and stops the horizontal louver
movement. Hold down for 2 seconds to initiate
vertical louver auto swing feature(some units) .
AUTO COOL DRYHEAT FAN
FAN SPEED: Selects fan speeds in the following order:
AUTOLOW MED HIGH
TEMP : Decreases temperate in 1°C increments.
Min. temperature is 17°C.

TIMER ON: Sets timer to turn unit on (see How to
Use Basic Functions for instructions).

1. When setting the TIMER ON or TIMER OFF, the time will increase by 30 minutes increments with each

press 5 times to get 2.5h, and press 10 times to get 5h,) The timer will revert to 0.0 after 24.
2. Cancel either function by setting its timer to 0.0h.

How to Use Advanced Functions

Press Swing button
The horizontal louver will swing up and down
automatically when pressing Swing button.
Press again to make it stop.
Keep pressing this button more than 2 seconds,
the vertical louver swing function is activated.
(Model dependent)

SLEEP
The SLEEP function is used to decrease energy use while you sleep (and don t need the same
temperature settings to stay comfortable). This function can only be activated via remote control.
The sleep function is not available in Fan or Dry mode.Please refer to the OWNER’S MANUAL for
more details.
When the I SENSE function is activated, the remote display is actual temperature at its location.
The remote control will send this signal to the air conditioner every 3 minutes interval until press
the I SENSE button again.

NOTE: Press this button for seven seconds to start/stop memory feature of I SENSE function.
If the memory feature is activated, “ ” displays for 3 seconds on the screen.
If the memory feature is stopped, “ ” displays for 3 seconds on the screen.
While the memory feature is activated, press the ON/OFF button, shift the mode or power failure
will not cancel the I SENSE function.

SHORTCUT function(some units)

Used to restore the current settings
or resume previous settings.
Push this button when remote controller is on, the system will automatically revert back to the
previous settings including operating mode, setting temperature, fan speed level and sleep
feature(if activated).
If pushing more than 2 seconds, the system will automatically restore the current operation
settings including operating mode, setting temperature, fan speed level and sleep feature
(if activated ).
FP function
The unit will operate at high fan speed (while
compressor on) with temperature automatically
set to 8 C/46 F.

Press this button 2 times during one second under HEAT Mode and setting temperature of
17 C/62 F to activate FP function.
Press On/Off, Sleep, Mode, Fan and Temp. button while operating will cancel this function.
Note: This function is for heat pump air conditioner only.
