NOTA:
El diseño de los botones se basa en el modelo típico y puede ser ligeramente
diferente del real que compró, prevalecerá la forma real.
Todas las funciones descritas son realizadas por la unidad. Si la unidad no tiene
esta característica, no se produce la función correspondiente cuando se presiona el
botón relativo en el control remoto.
Cuando hay amplias diferencias entre el manual del control remoto y el manual de
usuario sobre la descripción de una función, prevalecerá la descripción del manual
de usuario y no la del manual del control remoto.
Antes de comenzar a usar su nuevo aire acondicionado, asegúrese de familiarizarse con su
control remoto. Lo siguiente es una breve introducción al control remoto en sí. Para obtener

Function Buttons
Before you begin using your new air conditioner, make sure to familiarize yourself with its remote
control. The following is a brief introduction to the remote control itself. For instructions on how to
operate your air conditioner, refer to the How to Use The Basic/Advance Functions section of
this manual.
NOTE：Please do not select HEAT mode if the machine you purchased is cooling only
type. Heat mode is not supported by the cooling only appliance.

NOTA ESPECIAL
CONSEJOS PARA EL USO DEL CONTROL REMOTO
El control remoto debe usarse a menos
de 8 metros de la unidad.
La unidad emitirá un pitido cuando se
reciba la señal remota.
Las cortinas, otros materiales y la luz
solar directa pueden interferir con el
receptor de señal infrarroja.
Retire las baterías si el control remoto no
se usará más de 2 meses.
INSERCCIÓN Y REEMPLAZO DE BATERÍAS
Su unidad de aire acondicionado viene con
dos baterías AAA. Coloque las baterías en el
control remoto antes de usarlo:
1. Retire la cubierta posterior del control
remoto, exponiendo el compartimiento de
la batería.
2. Inserte las baterías, prestando atención
para unir los extremos (+) y (-) de las
baterías con los símbolos dentro del
compartimiento de la batería.
3. Coloque la cubierta posterior.
INSTALACIÓN DEL SOPORTE DEL CONTROL REMOTO
si el aire acondicionado recibe la
señal adecuadamente.
El control remoto se puede colocar en la pared
usando un soporte (pieza opcional, no
suministrada con la unidad).
1. Antes de instalar el control remoto, compruebe

NOTA: Al configurar las funciones TIMER
ON o TIMER OFF, hasta 10 horas, el
tiempo aumentará en incrementos de 30
minutos con cada pulsación. Después de
10 horas y hasta 24, aumentará en
incrementos de 1 hora. El temporizador
volverá a cero después de 24 horas.
Puede desactivar cualquiera de las

La Función TIMER ON le permite establecer un
período de tiempo después del cual la unidad se
encenderá automáticamente, como cuando llega a
casa del trabajo.

Ajuste del temporizador

Pulse Timer, el indicador del temporizado r se
mostrará y parpadeará. Por defecto,
el último tiempo que haya ajustado y
"h" (indicadora de horas), aparecerán en
pantalla.
Nota: Este número indica el periodo de
tiempo después de la hora actual que
usted quiere que pase para que la unidad
se encienda. Por ejemplo, si configura
TIMER ON durante 2.5 horas, aparecerá
"2.5h" en la pantalla y la unidad se
encenderá después de 2.5 horas.

La función Follow Me permite que el control
remoto mida la temperatura en su ubicación
actual y envíe esta señal al aire
acondicionado cada 3 minutos. Usando los
modos AUTO, Refrigeración o Calefacción,
mide la temperatura ambiente desde el
control remoto (en lugar de la unidad interior
en sí) y permite que el aire acondicionado
optimice la temperatura a su alrededor para
garantizar la máxima comodidad.

Nota: La función SLEEP (descanso) no está

La función SLEEP se usa para disminuir el uso
de energía mientras duerme (y no necesita la
misma configuración de temperatura para
mantenerse cómodo). Esta función solo se
puede activar a través del control remoto.

usuario de la unidad.
Cómo usar las funciones avanzadas Cómo usar las funciones avanzadas
La función TURBO hace que la unidad
trabaje más para alcanzar su temperatura
actual en el menor tiempo posible.
Cuando seleccione TURBO en el modo
refrigeración, la unidad soplará aire frío más
fuerte para iniciar el proceso de
enfriamiento.
Cuando seleccione TURBO en el modo
calefacción, en unidades con elementos de
calor eléctricos, el calentador eléctrico
activará y pondrá en marcha el proceso de
calentamiento.
Las bacterias en el aire pueden crecer en la
humedad que se condensa alrededor del
intercambiador de calor en la unidad. Con el uso
regular, la mayor parte de esta humedad se
evapora de la unidad. Cuando se activa la función
de autolimpieza, su unidad se limpiará
automáticamente. Después de la limpieza, la
unidad se apagará automáticamente.
Puede usar la función de autolimpieza tantas
veces como lo desee.
Nota: solo puede activar esta función en los
modos de refrigeración (COOL) y deshumidificación
(DRY).

Mantenga presionado el botón de FAN durante 2
segundos para activar / cancelar el modo

enfriamiento y calentamiento. (Aplicable al aire
acondicionado con función silence solamente)

Cuando el aire acondicionado funciona en
modo de calefacción con la temperatura en
17 °C, presione el botón Temp
dos veces en un segundo para activar
la función de calentamiento de 8ºC. La
unidad funcionará a una temperatura
de ajuste de 8ºC. , La pantalla de la
unidad interior mostrará "FP".

Se utiliza para activar al modo de ahorro
energético. En el modo de refrigeración, pulse
este botón, el control remoto ajustará la
temperatura automáticamente a 24 °C y la
velocidad del ventilador a Auto para ahorrar
energía (pero solo si la temperatura
establecida es inferior a 24 °C). Si la
temperatura establecida es superior a 24 ºC,
presione el botón ECO, la velocidad del
ventilador y cambiará a Auto, la temperatura
establecida permanecerá sin cambios.
NOTA:
El modo ECO, cuando modifique el modo
o ajuste la temperatura establecida a
menos de 24 °C, se detendrá.
Bajo el modo ECO, la temperatura
establecida debe ser de 24 ºC o más, por
lo que puede resultar en enfriamiento
insuficiente. Si se siente incómodo,
simplemente presione el botón ECO
nuevamente para detenerlo.

Se utiliza para restaurar la configuración actual o
reanudar la configuración anterior.

Function Buttons
Before you begin using your new air conditioner, make sure to familiarize yourself with its remote
control. The following is a brief introduction to the remote control itself. For instructions on how to
operate your air conditioner, refer to the How to Use The Basic/Advance Functions section of
this manual.
NOTE：Please do not select HEAT mode if the machine you purchased is cooling only
type. Heat mode is not supported by the cooling only appliance.
NOT SURE WHAT A FUNCTION DOES?
Refer to the How to Use Basic Functions
and How to Use Advanced Functions
sections of this manual for a detailed
description of how to use your air conditioner.
SPECIAL NOTE
Button designs on your unit may differ
slightly from the example shown.
If the indoor unit does not have a particular
function, pressing that function s button on
the remote control will have no effect.
TIPS FOR USING REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control must be used within 8
meters of the unit.
The unit will beep when remote signal is
received.
Curtains, other materials and direct
sunlight can interfere with the infrared
signal receiver.
Remove batteries if the remote control
will not be used more than 2 months.
INSERTING AND REPLACING BATTERIES
INSTALLING REMOTE CONTROL HOLDER
Your air conditioning unit comes with two
AAA batteries. Put the batteries in the
remote control before use:
1. Remove the back cover from the remote
control, exposing the battery compartment.
2. Insert the batteries, paying attention to
match up the (+) and (-) ends of the
batteries with the symbols inside the
battery compartment.
3. Install the back cover on.
The remote controller can be attached to a wall
or stand by using a remote controller holder
(optional part, not supplied with the unit).
Before installing the remote controller, check
that the air conditioner receives the signals
properly.

For optimum product performance:
Do not mix old and new batteries, or
batteries of different types.
Do not leave batteries in the remote control
if you don t plan on using the device for

proper disposal of batteries.

When setting the TIMER ON or
TIMER OFF functions, up to 10 hours,
the time will increase in 30 minute
increments with each press. After 10
hours and up to 24, it will increase in 1
hour increments. The timer will revert to
zero after 24 hours.

set a period of time after which the unit
will automatically turn off, such as when
you wake up.

The TIMER ON function allows you to set
a period of time after which the unit will
automatically turn on, such as when you
come home from work.
Your air conditioning unit has two
timer-related functions:
TIMER ON- sets the amount of timer after
which the unit will automatically turn on.
TIMER OFF- sets the amount of time after
which the unit will automatically turn off.

Setting the TIMER function

amount of time after the current time
that you want the unit to turn on.
For example, if you set TIMER ON for
2.5 hours, will appear on the
screen, and the unit will turn on after
2.5 hours.

Keep in mind that the time periods you set for both functions refer to hours after the
current time. For example, say that the current time is 1:00 PM, and you want the unit
to turn on automatically at 7:00 PM. You want it to operate for 2 hours, then automa-
tically turn off at 9:00 PM.

The Follow me function enables the
remote control to measure the temperature
at its current location and

measuring ambient temperature from the
remote control (instead of from the indoor
unit itself) will enable the air conditioner to
optimize the temperature around you and

The SLEEP function is used to decrease
energy use while you sleep (and don t
need the same temperature settings to
stay comfortable). This function can
only be activated via remote control.
Note: The SLEEP function is not
available in FAN or DRY mode.

How To Use The Advanced Functions How To Use The Advanced Functions
The TURBO function makes the unit work
extra hard to reach your present temperature
in the shortest amount of time possible.
When you select TURBO feature in COOL
mode, the unit will blow cool air with
strongest wind setting to jump-start the
cooling process.
When you select TURBO feature in HEAT
mode, for units with Electric heat elements,
the Electric Heater will activate and
jump-start the heating process.
Airborne bacteria can grow in the moisture
that condenses around heat exchanger in
the unit. With regular use, most of this
moisture is evaporated from the unit.
When the self clean feature is activated,
your unit will clean itself automatically. After
cleaning, unit will turn off automatically.
You can use self clean feature as often as
you like.
Note: You can only activate this function
in COOL or DRY mode.

SHORTCUT function
