Thank you for purchasing an East Coast product. It’s been carefully designed and constructed to meet
the standard of: BS EN 14988:2006 + A1:2012 (Safety standard for Highchairs) and to oer quality, safety
and reliability for you and your baby.

Your child’s safety is your responsibility. Keep children clear during assembly as the fittings pack contains
small parts which may present a choking hazard. Please read the instructions and warnings carefully
before use.
Lay out the parts on a soft level surface and compare to the parts checklist. Don’t throw away any
packaging until you’re sure that you have all the parts.

We recommend that a separate seat cushion or
insert is used to help seat smaller children
securely.
Make sure that all the harness straps are passed
through the gaps at the rear of the seat cushion
and that no part of the harness passes around
the sides or top of the cushion.
Slider
The child must always wear the waist, shoulder and crotch straps provided.
NOTE: For clarity the tray is shown in the folded position. You should always use the highchair
with the tray locked in position as shown on page 4.
Ensure that the two ends of the waist strap are
fastened into the buckle on top of the crotch strap
and the shoulder straps are attached to the two
halves of the waist straps as shown.
Adjust the length of the straps to fit the child by
moving the sliders up or down the straps.
Ensure that the straps run directly from the
attachment points on the chair to your child’s body
and are not passed around any part of the highchair.
If your padded insert has slots for straps in
the backrest, then the shoulder straps should
be passed through the appropriate slots for
your child's size.

To fold the chair for storage, first remove
any insert cushion that may be used.
To fold the tray:
1. Unlock the tray by pulling the locking
buttons outward and lifting the tray.
2. Swing the tray over the backrest and
allow it to hang down at the rear of the
chair.

Care and maintenance
Regularly check the highchair to make sure that all fixings are properly tightened and that all locking
devices are operating correctly.
Take care when moving the furniture, as careless handling may cause damage.
Cleaning is simple; just wipe over with a damp cloth, and avoid using strong detergents or abrasives.
An occasional light application of a wax polish will help maintain the finish.
In use
WARNING - YOUR CHILDREN’S SAFETY IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
Do not leave the child unattended when using this highchair.
Do not use this highchair until your child is able to sit up unaided.
Do not place too close to sources of heat such as open fires, electric bar fires, gas fires etc.
Do not use the highchair unless all components are correctly fitted and adjusted.
Ensure that the child is always restrained by the crotch, waist and shoulder straps provided and that they
are correctly fitted when used in highchair mode.
Do not position in close proximity to trailing flexes, electric irons, ornaments or other obstacles.
Ensure the tray remains fitted at all times when in use.
The highchair must always be used on a stable level surface.
Do not use the highchair if any part is broken, torn or missing.
When not in use, store safely away and do not allow to be used as a toy or climbing frame.
