1. Information
Eastsign Roll Slitters is possible to slit most kinds of material such Polyester, PVC Banners & Mesh, Vinyl, Single
or Double-sided Adhesive Tape, Reflective Sheetings, Application Tape, Electrical Tape, Paper Rolls, Masking
Tape, Window Film, Photo Paper. Blade holder is driven by spiral shaft, which width accuracy is up to
1mm."Auto” or "Manual” mode are available. Unit is displayed as mm or inch.
Rewinding shaft is available. There is length counter, which helps you convert the jumbo roll to small roll. This
is excellent machine for consumable distributors to cope with urgent order from end-users.
Main shaft outer diameter of RS-3300R is 3". 2" Main shaft is available for loading inkjet media.
Roll slitter is available in 1.8m and 3.3m wide. Maximum cutting diameter is 250mm.

4. Control Panel Instruction

5. Installation
5.1. Open wooden crate and loosen all bolts (under machine) which fasten the machine to pallet.
5.2. Unload the machine to clean, flat and dry concrete open indoor space. There should be enough room for
loading and unloading roll material on the right of the machine.
5.3. Connect the machine to current voltage. Rated voltage is marked on machine nameplate.
5.4. Install handle to the machine
5.5. Install rewinding rod holder to the back of the machine. Put rewinding rod on the holder and length
counter as shown in the following images.

6.1. Press“ Left” or“ Right” for 3 seconds
6.2. It shows“ D‐1” in the monitor. Press“ Right” to show parameter of D‐1. Press number to
change the parameter.
6.3. Press“ Right” to again show parameter of D‐2 / D‐3 / D‐4
6.4. If it is idle for 1 minute, it will return to operation mode.

7.Operation Guide
7.1. Cutting Only
7.1.1Before loading the media, check if the blade just touches the plastics tube. If the blade cut though plastic
tube, steel shaft may damage the blade. Adjust the screw under the handle to protect the blade.
7.1.2Unlock the shaft support on the right. Load the roll materials on main shaft from right hand side of the
machine. Use the media support if the roll is heavy.
7.1.3Switch on air compressor. Air hole is on the left side of the main shaft. Inject the compressed air for
around 3 seconds. The pressure input should be within 0.4MPa.
7.1.4Check if the roll is tightly fastened on main shaft. Input width value and press“ Left” or“ Right” to
move automatically
7.1.5Control rotating direction of main shaft. Make sure that it is the same as rewinding direction of the roll.
Control the rotating speed of main shaft and let it reach stable speed for a short moment. Press the
handle gently to open a small trough on the media. Then, press harder to cut the paper core.
7.1.6Reduce the speed to minimum and change the direction to “ Null” mode. Unlock the shaft support
and unload the media from the right.
7.2. Cutting and Rewinding
7.2.1Load the jumbo roll on rewinding shaft and fasten the roll on plug. Load the paper core on main shaft.
Stick the media on paper core.
7.2.2Lay down the length counter on the media. Control rotating direction of main shaft and rotating speed of
main shaft.
7.2.3When the media is tracking to one side, adjust the tension on rewinding rod support.

8. Important Notice
8.1. Slitter must be placed on flat, dry, open and solid concrete ground. Working place must be dry, clean and
well-ventilated. Reserve at least 1m working space around the machine for operation and at least 2m (RS
-1800R) or 3.5m (RS-3300R) on the right side of the machine for loading or unloading.
8.2. Electricity of equipment is 220V, 50HZ, single phase. If power supply is 110V inform Eastsign to add
transformer in advance.
8.3. Check the voltage from main power supply if it matches rate voltage marked on machine. Make sure that
it is connected to ground and avoid short circuit.
8.4. Non‐operators should stay away from the machine during cutting
8.5. Lubricate the machine regularly
8.6. Check and fasten all screws or bolts regularly
8.7. Conceal the blade by blade cover when it is not working
8.8. Switch off the machine when the machine is under maintenance
8.9. Report to Eastsign engineers by sending images or video if the machine is not working properly
