Important notes on the correct use of
xComfort products
General information, use:
xComfort products are designed for use in private
homes and similar, fixed electrical installation
systems. Applicable standards can be found in the
CE declarations of conformity included in the moun-
ting instructions supplied with each product.
Installation:
Installation and connection of xComfort products
may be carried out by an authorized specialist
only (e.g. electrician).
Eaton installation recommendations need to be
respected, in addition to all relevant national
installation and construction regulations.
Appropriate fuse protection with overvoltage pro-
tection in the distribution cabinet is required (coar-
se protection and surge protection).
Overvoltage in the system network caused by
other electrical consumers (e.g. switching of
loads) is not allowed, filters need to be provided.
Data transmission in the system network used
(e.g. ripple control signals from the electricity sup-
plier) and harmonics are not allowed, filters need
to be provided.
Temporary, short brightness variations of dimmed
lamps are usually caused by the above-mentioned
ripple control signals, they are not caused by any
defect of our devices.
Ambient conditions and technical data as speci-
fied in our catalogues or mounting instructions
need to be respected, especially those referring
to:
Degree of protection (IP20) for in-house use
Degree of pollution
Ambient temperature
Humidity (non-condensing)
Operating temperature (also taking account of
other, additional heat sources)
Operating voltage and frequency
Correct and allowed max. load
De-rating (reduction of performance)
The mains power supply needs to be disconnec-
ted before doing any installation jobs.
Mechanically and/or electrically damaged
xComfort devices MUST NOT be installed or bro-
ught into operation. They need to be replaced by
new xComfort devices.
xComfort devices MUST NOT be exposed to any
mechanical stress (e.g. mechanical pressure on
the devices or strain on connection wires).
xComfort devices MUST NOT be changed, neither
in technical, mechanical and/or electrical terms.
Exception: Shortening of connection wires.
Devices must not be opened.
xComfort devices must be and stay accessible for
programming, replacement and maintenance pur-
poses (i.e. NO wall-paper on distribution boxes,
NO immuring etc).
Torques for screw-type terminals on the device
need to be respected! For terminals from third-
party suppliers (e.g. lustre terminals) you need to
respect the manufacturers' technical data.
Once the job has been done, all the installation
boxes need to be closed again. All live compo-
nents need to be touch-proof.
Installation boxes and distributors must be flame-
retardant in compliance with the respective rules
and regulations.
Neutral conductor displacements in the system
network used are NOT allowed and can
destroy/damage the devices.
Phase and neutral conductor need to be correctly
connected.
Protective earth PE needs to be provided where
required by terminal equipment (e.g. lamp with a
metal housing).
After removing any xComfort actuators, the inco-
ming capacitor of the actuators needs to be
discharged (risk of electric shock).
Connecting the sensors and loads or consumers
has to be done in accordance with the technical
section of our catalogue or with the mounting
instructions supplied with each product. All techni-
cal data and recommendations need to be respec-
ted.
Any connection wires not used must be touch-
proof.
Country-specific waste disposal and environ-
mental regulations (e.g. for defective devices, bat-
teries, …) need to be respected.
Applications:
xComfort products MUST NOT be used for safety
installations and safety-relevant functions, especi-
ally for:
Safety temperature switches and limiting
equipment of heating systems
Final position detection and switch-off or safety
functions related to the influence of the
weather on shading systems (wind,rain,hail ...)

Conventional fire alarm systems
Conventional alarm systems/installations
Etc.
Miscellaneous:
Participation in an Eaton xComfort training is a
pre-requisite for specialists who are to install
xComfort products.
In case of any doubt, missing information or
incomplete technical data, contact Eaton before
starting the installation job.
Service life specifications (e.g. for batteries of
push-buttons or for relays of actuators) are appro-
ximate values only. Their real service life may vary
depending on the different applications, but this is
not due to a deficiency of our xComfort devices.
If you have any questions, suggestions or com-
plaints, please get in touch with your Eaton
contact or with your Eaton installation or sales
representative.
Any loss or deterioration of the wireless connec-
tion due to external influences (e.g. changes in
the building, impact of other systems, influence of
the weather, e.g. of rain on wireless routes in out-
door areas…) is not within Eaton's responsibility.
For safety reasons you need to provide a system
password upon start-up of the xComfort system.
However, a 100% protection is impossible.
Therefore, Eaton cannot be held liable for any
manipulations by third parties.
For combinations of xComfort devices with third-
party products (e.g. ballasts, electr. transformers)
Eaton cannot guarantee the compatibility of the
devices due to the wide range of different produc-
ts on the market.
Eaton shall not assume any responsibility for tech-
nical changes, errors and misprints.
Guarantee/Warranty:
In case of a failure to comply with the instructions
or in case of inappropriate use, any warranty or
guarantee claims will cease to exist and are there-
fore NOT in Eaton's responsibility.
In case of any installation mistakes and conse-
quential damages, e.g. short-circuits, Eaton shall
NOT accept any liability.
Nor shall EATON accept any liability, neither direct
nor indirect, for the functioning of systems/applica-
tions that have been started up or configured
and/or programmed by any third party.

Wichtige Hinweise zum ordnungsgemäßen
Gebrauch der xComfort Produkte
DE
Allgemeines, Verwendung:
Die xComfort Produkte sind für den Einsatz im
Haushalt und ähnlichen, ortsfesten elektrischen
Installationen vorgesehen. Die entsprechenden
Normen sind aus den CE-Erklärungen in den beilie-
genden Montageanleitungen ersichtlich.
Installation:
Die Installation und der Anschluss der xComfort
Produkte darf ausschließlich durch eine autorisier-
te Fachkraft (z.B. Elektroinstallateur) erfolgen.
Die Eaton Installationsempfehlungen sind einzu-
halten, zusätzlich zu den gültigen nationalen
Installations- und Errichtungsvorschriften.
Eine entsprechende Absicherung im Verteiler-
schrank mit Überspannungsschutz (Grob- und
Feinschutz) ist notwendig.
Überspannung im Anlagennetz aufgrund anderer
elektrischer Verbrauchern (z.B.: Schalten von
Lasten) ist nicht zulässig, Filter sind vorzusehen.
Datenübertragung am verwendeten Anlagennetz
(z.B.: Rundsteuersignal vom EVU) bzw. Ober-
wellen ist nicht zulässig, Filter sind vorzusehen.
Vorübergehende, kurze Helligkeitsschwankungen
von gedimmten Lampen sind in der Regel auf
zuvor genannte Rundsteuersignale zurückzu-
führen und stellen keinen Mangel unserer Geräte
dar.
Die Umgebungsbedingungen und technischen
Daten lt. Katalog bzw. Montageanleitungen sind
einzuhalten, insbesondere:
Schutzklasse (IP20) für Innenanwendung
Verschmutzungsgrad
Umgebungstemperatur
Feuchte (nicht kondensierend)
Betriebstemperatur
(auch bei zusätzlichen Wärmequellen)
Betriebsspannung und Frequenz
Max. zulässige und korrekte Last
Derating (Leistungsreduktion)
Vor den Installationsarbeiten ist das Netz zu tren-
nen.
Beschädigte xComfort Geräte (mechanisch
und/oder elektrisch) dürfen NICHT installiert bzw.
in Betrieb genommen werden. Diese sind durch
neue xComfort Geräte zu ersetzen.

xComfort Geräte dürfen KEINEM mechanischen
Stress ausgesetzt werden (z.B. mechanischer
Druck auf den Geräten bzw. Zugkraft auf den
Anschlussdrähten).
xComfort Geräte dürfen technisch, mechanisch
und/oder elektrisch NICHT verändert werden.
Ausnahme: Kürzen der Anschlussdrähte.
Die Geräte dürfen nicht geöffnet werden.
Die xComfort Geräte müssen für Programmie-
rung, Tausch, Wartung usw. zugänglich sein und
bleiben (z.B. KEINE Tapete über Dosenab-
deckung, Einmauern, etc.).
Für am Gerät befindliche Schraubklemmen sind
die Drehmomente einzuhalten! Für Klemmen von
Drittanbietern (z.B. Lüsterklemme) sind die Daten
der Hersteller zu beachten.
Nach Abschluss der Arbeiten sind die Installa-
tionsdosen zu verschließen. Alle spannungs-
führenden Teile müssen berührungssicher ausge-
führt sein.
Verwendete Installationsdosen und Verteiler müs-
sen den Vorschriften entsprechend Brand hem-
mend ausgeführt sein.
Nullleiterverschiebungen im genutzten Anlagen-
netz sind NICHT zulässig und können zur
Zerstörung/Defekt der Geräte führen.
Phase und Nulleiter sind korrekt anzuschließen.
Schutzerde PE ist dort vorzusehen, wo es von
den Endgeräten her notwendig ist (z.B.: Lampe
mit Metallgehäuse).
Nach der Deinstallation der xComfort Aktoren
muss der Eingangskondensator der Aktoren entla-
den werden (Gefahr eines Stromschlages).
Der Anschluss von Sensoren und Lasten bzw.
Verbraucher hat lt. Technikteil Katalog bzw. beilie-
gender Montageanleitungen zu erfolgen, die tech-
nischen Daten und Empfehlungen sind einzuhal-
ten.
Nicht verwendete Anschlussdrähte müssen
berührungssicher ausgeführt werden.
Länderspezifische Entsorgungs- und
Umweltvorschriften (z.B.: defekte Geräte,
Batterien,...) sind einzuhalten.
Applikationen:
xComfort Produkte dürfen NICHT für Sicherheits-
einrichtungen und sicherheitsrelevante Funktionen
eingesetzt werden, insbesondere:
Sicherheitstemperaturschalter und Begrenz-
ungseinrichtungen bei Heizungssystemen
Endlagenerkennung- und Abschaltung bzw.
Sicherheitsfunktionen bei Witterungseinflüssen
(Wind, Regen, Hagel,..) für Beschattungs-
systemen
Sicherheits- und NOT-AUS Funktionen im
Generellen
Brandmeldeanlagen im klassischen Sinn
Alarmsysteme/Anlagen im klassischen Sinn
Usw.
Sonstiges:
Für jene Fachleute, die xComfort Produkte instal-
lieren, wird die Teilnahme an einer Eaton-
xComfort-Schulung vorausgesetzt.
Bei Unklarheiten, fehlenden Informationen bzw.
technischen Daten sind diese zuvor bei Eaton ein-
zuholen.
Die angegebene Lebensdauer (z.B. Batterie bei
Taster oder Relais bei Aktoren) sind Richtwerte.
Die Lebensdauer kann jedoch von den
Richtwerten aufgrund der unterschiedlichsten
Anwendung abweichen. Dies stellt keinen Mangel
an unseren xComfort Geräten dar.
Bei Fragen, Anregungen, Reklamationen wenden
Sie sich bitte an ihren Eaton Ansprechpartner
oder Eaton Installations- bzw. Vertriebspartner.
Der Verlust bzw. die Verschlechterung der
Funkverbindung aufgrund externer Einflüsse (z.B.:
bauliche Änderung, Einfluss anderer Systeme,
witterungsbedingte Einflüsse z.B. durch Regen bei
Funkstrecken im Außenbereich,...) liegt nicht in
der Verantwortung von Eaton.
Bei der Inbetriebnahme des xComfort Systems ist
ein Anlagenkennwort zum Schutz der Anlage vor-
zusehen. Ein 100%iger Schutz ist aber nicht mög-
lich. Deshalb kann Eaton für etwaige Manipulation
durch Dritte nicht haften.
Bei der Kombination von xComfort Geräten mit
Drittprodukten (z.B.: Vorschaltgeräte, el. Trafos,..)
kann Eaton aufgrund der großen Produktvielfalt
gemeinsame Funktionen nicht gewährleisten.
Technische Änderungen, Fehler und Druckfehler
sind vorbehalten.
Garantie/Gewährleistung:
Bei Nichteinhaltung der Hinweise oder unsach-
gemäßem Gebrauch erlischt der Gewährlei-
stungs- und Garantieanspruch und liegt somit
NICHT in der Verantwortung von Eaton.
Bei Installationsfehlern und daraus resultierenden
Folgeschäden wie z.B. Kurzschlüssen haftet
Eaton NICHT.
Ebenso haftet EATON weder direkt noch indirekt
für die Funktion von Anlagen/Applikationen welche
durch Dritte in Betrieb genommen bzw. konfigu-
riert und/oder programmiert wurden.

Důležité pokyny ke správnému používání
produktů xComfort
Obecné informace, použití:
Produkty xComfort jsou určeny k použití v domác-
nostech a v obdobných, pevných elektroinstalacích.
Odpovídající normy jsou uvedeny v ES prohlášení o
shodě (CE Declaration of Conformity) v přiložených
montážních návodech.
Instalace:
Instalaci a zapojení výrobků xComfort smí pro-
vádět pouze kvalifikovaný odborník (např. elektri-
kář).
Je nutné respektovat montážní předpisy a
doporučení společnosti Eaton, stejně tak je nez-
bytné dodržet příslušné místně platné normy a
předpisy.
V rozváděči je nutné zajistit odpovídající jištění s
ochranou proti přepětí (kompletní kaskáda svo-
dičů s hrubou a jemnou ochranou).
Přepětí v síti způsobené ostatními elektrickými
spotřebiči (např. spínání induktivních zátěží) je
nepřípustné a je třeba použít filtry (RC členy
nebo přepět’ové ochrany).
Přenos dat po síti, kde se používají zařízení
(např. signál HDO distributora elektřiny) resp.
harmonické frekvence nejsou dovolené, je třeba
instalovat filtry.
Krátké, přechodné kolísání svítivosti stmívaných
svítidel zpravidla souvisí s výše uvedenými signály
HDO a nepředstavuje žádnou závadu našich zaří-
zení.
Je třeba zajistit předepsané okolní podmínky a
respektovat technické údaje uvedené v katalogu
nebo montážních návodech, zejména parametry:
o stupeň krytí (IP20) pro vnitřní použití
o stupeň znečištění
o teplotu okolí
o vlhkost (bez kondenzace)
o provozní teplotu
(s ohledem na další tepelné zdroje oteplení)
o provozní napětí a frekvenci
o nejvyšší přípustnou zátěž (správný typ zátěže)
o omezení výkonu vlivem vyšší teploty okolí
Před zahájením montážních prací je nutné odpojit
napájení 230V.
Poškozené přístroje xComfort (mechanicky nebo
elektricky) NESMÍ být instalované, resp. uvedeny
do provozu. Je nezbytná jejich výměna za nové
produkty xComfort.
Produkty xComfort nesmí být vystaveny
ŽÁDNÉMU mechanickému namáhání (např.
CZ
mechanický tlak na přístroje, příp. tah na připojo-
vací vodiče).
Technické, mechanické, elektrické nebo jiné
úpravy přístrojů xComfort nejsou PŘÍPUSTNÉ.
Povoleno je pouze zkrácení připojovacích vodičů.
Není dovoleno otevírat kryt přístroje xComfort.
Je třeba zajistit trvalou přístupnost produktů
xComfort za účelem jejich programování,
výměny, údržby atd. NEPŘÍPUSTNÉ jsou tedy
například tapety kryjící víka zásuvek, obezdívání,
montáž za radiátor atd.
U šroubových svorek je treba produkt xComfort
dodržet předepsané hodnoty utahovacích
momentů! Pro svorky jiných dodavatelů (např.
svorkovnice lustru) je nutné dbát na dodržování
údajů uvedených příslušným výrobcem.
Po dokončení montážních prací je třeba uzavřít
víka instalačních krabic. Všechny přístroje, které
jsou pod napětím, musí být chráněny ochranou
proti dotyku!
Použité instalační krabice a rozvaděče musí být v
protipožárním provedení v souladu s platnými
předpisy.
Fázové a nulové vodiče je nutné správně zapojit.
Ochranné uzemnění PE je třeba připojit tam, kde
si to vyžadují koncové přístroje (např. svítidlo s
kovovým krytem).
Po demontáži aktorů xComfort jsou vstupní kon-
denzátory nabity - musí být vybity (hrozí nebez-
pečí elektrického výboje).
Připojení senzorů a zátěží, resp. spotřebiče, je
třeba provést dle pokynů v technické části kata-
logu či podle příslušných montážních návodů,
přičemž je třeba respektovat uvedené technické
údaje a doporučení.
Nepoužité připojovací vodiče musí být chráněny
proti dotyku.
Je třeba respektovat i národní předpisy týkající
se likvidace odpadů a ochrany životního prostředí
(např. při likvidaci poškozených přístrojů, baterií
atd.).
Aplikace:
Produkty xComfort se NESMÍ používat pro bez-
pečnostní zařízení a pro funkce ovlivčující bez-
pečnost, zejména ne v následujících aplikacích:
o bezpečnostní spínač teploty vytápěcích
systémů
o zařízeních zajišt’ujících snímání koncové
polohy

o u bezpečnostních funkcí týkajících se povětrnost-
ních vlivů (větru, deště, krupobití atd.) stínicích
systémů
o bezpečnostních funkcí a NOUZOVÝCH VYPÍNAČŮ
obecně
o požárních signalizačních systémech všeobecně
o alarmových systémech všeobecně
o atd.
Různé:
U odborníků, kteří instalují výrobky xComfort, se
předpokládá účast na školeních společnosti
Eaton se zaměřením na systém xComfort.
V případě nejasností, chybějících informací nebo
technických údajů, je třeba si nejprve vyžádat
potřebné informace u společnosti Eaton.
Údaje ohledně životnosti (např. baterií vypínačů,
termostatů nebo binárních vstupů), představují
pouze orientační hodnoty. Skutečná životnost se
může od těchto orientačních hodnot v důsledku
různého využívání lišit. Nepředstavuje to však
žádnou závadu výrobků xComfort.
V případě dotazů, podnětů nebo reklamací se
prosím obrat’te na kontaktní osobu společnosti
Eaton, případně na instalačního nebo distri-
bučního partnera společnosti Eaton.
Společnost Eaton nenese odpovědnost za
případnou ztrátu, resp. zhoršení rádiového sig-
nálu, způsobenou vnějšími vlivy (např. stavební

třetích stran (např. s předřadníky, transformátory
atd.) nemůže společnost Eaton vzhledem ke
značné rozmanitosti těchto produktů zaručit jejich
správné společné fungování.

Záruka/odpovědnost za vady:
Při nedodržení uvedených pokynů nebo při

Yleistä, käyttö:
xComfort-tuotteet on tarkoitettu kotitalouskäyttöön ja
vastaavaan käyttöön kiinteissä sähköasennuksissa.

Asennus:
xComfort-tuotteiden asennuksen ja kytkemisen
saavat suorittaa vain valtuutetut ammattihenkilöt
(esim. sähköasentajat).
Voimassa olevien kansallisten asennusohjeiden

sia.
Asennuksia varten on oltava vastaavat sulakkeet
sähkönjakokaapissa (karkea ja hieno sulake).

kentä), niitä varten on oltava suodatin.
Käytetyssä laitteistoverkossa ei saa olla tiedonsiir-

yliaaltoja, sitä varten on oltava suodatin.
Himmennettyjen valaisimien ohimenevät, lyhyet
kirkkauden vaihtelut eivät yleensä johdu laittei-
demme vioista vaan edellä mainituista ohjaussig-
naaleista.

töolosuhteita ja teknisiä tietoja on noudatettava,

Ennen asennuksen aloittamista on laitteisto irro-
tettava sähköverkosta.
Vaurioituneita (mekaanisesti ja/tai sähköisesti)
xComfort-laitteita EI SAA asentaa tai ottaa käyt-
töön. Vaurioituneet laitteet on vaihdettava uusiin
xComfort-laitteisiin.
xComfort-laitteisiin EI SAA KOHDISTAA mekaanis-
ta rasitusta (kuten mekaanista painetta laitteisiin
tai vetovoimaa liitosjohtoihin).
xComfort-laitteita EI SAA MUUTTAA teknisesti,
mekaanisesti tai sähköisesti. Poikkeuksena liitos-
johtojen lyhentäminen.
Laitteita ei saa avata.
xComfort-laitteita ei saa peittää (esim. tapeteilla
rasioiden tai uppoasennuksen päällä) vaan niihin
on oltava pääsy ohjelmointia, vaihtoa tai huoltoa
ym. varten.
Laitteessa olevien ruuviliittimien osalta on huo-
mioitava niiden kiristysmomentit. Muiden valmista-
jien liittimien osalta (esim. sokeripalaliitin) on huo-
mioitava valmistajan tiedot.
Asennustöiden päätyttyä asennusrasiat on suljet-
tava. Kaikki virtaa johtavat osat on suojattava
kosketukselta.
Käytettyjen asennusrasioiden ja jakorasioiden on
oltava valmistettuja paloa ehkäisevästä materiaalis-
ta ohjeiden mukaan.
Nollajohtimien siirrot käytetyssä laitteistoverkossa
EIVÄT ole sallittuja, ne voivat aiheuttaa laitteiden
rikkoontumisen.
Kytke vaihe- ja nollajohtimet oikein.
PE-suojamaadoitus on kytkettävä, jos se on pää-
telaitteiden kannalta tarpeen (esim. metallikoteloi-
nen valaisin).
x-Comfortin toimilaitteiden purkamisen jälkeen on
toimilaitteiden tulokondensaattorin varaus puretta-
va (sähköiskun vaara).
Anturien ja kuormien tai kuluttajien kytkeminen on
tehtävä luettelon tekniikkaosan tai mukana toimi-
tettujen asennusohjeiden mukaisesti, tekniset tie-
dot ja suositukset on huomioitava.
Käyttämättömät liitosjohdot on järjestettävä koske-
tukselta suojattuina.
Mm. viallisia laitteita ja paristoja koskevia, maa-
kohtaisia jätehuoltomääräyksiä on noudatettava.
Sovellukset:
xComfort-tuotteita EI SAA käyttää turvavarusteis-
sa ja turvallisuuden kannalta tärkeissä toiminnois-
sa, erityisesti:
lämmitysjärjestelmien lämpötilan
turvallisuuskytkimissä ja rajoittimissa
Pääteasentotunnistus ja -sammutus tai
sääilmiöiden (tuuli, sade, rakeet) turvallisuustoi
minnoissa ja varjostusjärjestelmissä
yleisesti turvallisuus- ja HÄTÄ-SEIS-toiminnot
perinteiset tulipalon ilmoituslaitteistot
perinteiset hälytysjärjestelmät ja -laitteistot
jne.
Muu:
Ammattihenkilöiltä, jotka asentavat xComfort-tuot-
teita, edellytetään osallistumista Eaton-xComfort-
koulutukseen.
Jos on epäselvyyksiä, puuttuvia tietoja taikka
vajavaisia teknisiä tietoja on kysyttävä Eatonilta.
Ilmoitetut käyttöiät (esim. anturin paristo tai toimi-
laitteen rele) ovat ohjearvoja. Todellinen käyttöikä
voi poiketa ohjearvoista käyttökohteesta riippuen.
Poikkeama ei johdu xComfort-laitteiden puutteista.
Ole hyvä ja kohdista kysymykset, ehdotukset ja
valitukset Eaton-laitteiden jälleenmyyjällesi tai
asennusliikkeellesi.
Eaton ei vastaa langattomien yhteyksien menettä-
misestä tai heikentämisestä, joiden syynä ovat
ulkoiset tekijät (esim. rakennuksessa tapahtuvat

Instructions importantes relatives à l'utilisation
conforme des produits xComfort

Généralités, utilisation :
Les produits xComfort sont conçus pour une utilisation
résidentielle et sur des installations électrique similaires.
Les normes correspondantes peuvent être consultées à
partir des déclarations CE dans les instructions de mon-
tage ci-jointes.
Installation :
L'installation et le raccordement des produits
xComfort seront réalisés exclusivement par un spé-
cialiste autorisé (par ex. un installateur électricien).
Les recommandations d'installation d'Eaton seront
respectées, tout comme les instructions d'installation
et de montage en vigueur au niveau national.
Une protection appropriée dans l'armoire de distributi-
on avec une protection contre les surtensions (pri-
maire et secondaire) est requise.
Une surtension sur le réseau d'installation en raison
d'autres récepteurs électriques (par ex. accouplement
de charges) n'est pas autorisée, des filtres doivent
être prévus.
La transmission de données sur le réseau d'installati-
on utilisé (par ex. signal de commande du distribu-
teur) ou des ondes harmoniques ne sont pas auto-
risées, des filtres doivent être prévus.
Les courtes variations de luminosité temporaires des
lampes à variation sont en règle générale liées aux
signaux de commande précédemment cités et ne
constituent pas un défaut de nos appareils.
Les conditions ambiantes et les données techniques
indiquées dans le catalogue ou les instructions de
montage doivent être respectées, et notamment :

Le réseau sera coupé avant les travaux d'installation.
Les appareils xComfort endommagés (dommage
mécanique et/ou électrique) NE DOIVENT PAS être
installés ou mis en service. Ils doivent être remplacés
par de nouveaux appareils xComfort.
Les appareils xComfort ne doivent être soumis à
AUCUN stress mécanique (par ex. pression mécani-
que sur les appareils ou traction sur les fils de raccor-
dement).
Les appareils xComfort ne doivent subirAUCUNE
modification technique, mécanique et/ou électrique.
Exception : raccourcissement des fils de raccorde-
ment
Les appareils ne doivent pas être ouverts.
Les appareils xComfort doivent être et rester accessi-
bles pour une programmation, un remplacement, une
maintenance, etc. (par ex. PAS de moquette sur les
prises ou d'encastrement dans un mur, etc.).
Les couples de serrage seront respectés pour les
bornes à vis présentes sur l'appareil ! Pour les bor-
nes de fournisseurs tiers (par ex. des serre-fils), les
données du fabricant seront respectées.
A la fin des travaux, les prises d'installation seront
refermées. Toutes les pièces sous tension doivent
être manipulées avec le plus grand soin.
Les prises d'installation et les répartiteurs utilisés doi-
vent être ignifugés conformément aux instructions.
Les déplacements de conducteur neutre sur le
réseau d'installation utilisé NE SONT PAS autorisés
et peuvent entraîner une détérioration / un défaut des
appareils.
La phase et le neutre doivent être raccordés correc-
tement.
Une protection à la terre PE sera prévue là où elle
est requise vis-à-vis des terminaux (par ex. lampe
avec boîtier métallique).
Après la désinstallation des acteurs xComfort, le con-
densateur d'entrée des acteurs doit être déchargé
(risque de choc électrique).
Le raccordement des capteurs et des charges et/ou
des récepteurs sera effectué conformément à la par-
tie technique du catalogue ou aux instructions de
montage ci-jointes, les données techniques et les
recommandations seront respectées.
Les fils de raccordement non utilisés seront mani-
pulés avec le plus grand soin.
Les directives locales/nationales de mise au rebut et
environnementales (par ex. appareils défectueux,
piles, etc.) seront respectées.
Applications :
Les produits xComfort NE SERONT PAS UTILISES
pour des installations de sécurité ou des fonctions
d'ordre sécuritaire, et notamment :
Interrupteur de température de sécurité et
limiteurs sur des systèmes de chauffage
Fonction de détection de position finale et de
déconnexion ou de sécurité en cas d'in
tempéries (vent, pluie, grêle, etc.) sur des
systèmes de surveillance

Les durées de vie indiquées (par ex. pile pour le bou-
ton-poussoir ou relais pour les acteurs) sont des
valeurs de consigne. Les durées de vie peuvent tou-
tefois diverger des valeurs de consigne face à la mul-
titude des applications possibles. Cela ne constitue
pas un défaut de nos appareils xComfort.
Pour toute question, suggestion ou réclamation,
veuillez vous adresser à votre interlocuteur Eaton ou
au partenaire d'installation et de vente Eaton.
La perte ou la détérioration de la connexion sans fil
en raison de facteurs externes (par ex. modification
architecturale, influence d'autres systèmes,
intempéries comme la pluie sur les trajets radioélec-
triques en extérieur, etc.) n'est pas de la responsabi-
lité d'Eaton.
A la mise en service du système xComfort, un mot
de passe sera configuré pour protéger l'installation.
Toutefois, une protection à 100% est impossible.
C'est pourquoi Eaton ne sera pas tenue responsable
d'une éventuelle intervention malveillante par des
tiers.
Si les appareils xComfort sont combinés avec des
produits tiers (par ex. alimentations, transfos électri-
ques, ...), Eaton ne peut pas garantir l'ensemble des
fonctions en raison du grand nombre de produits dif-

ou de problèmes d'impression.
Garantie :
En cas de non respect des instructions ou d'utilisation

Oltre alle disposizioni di installazione e di costru-
zione nazionali in vigore rispettare anche le racco-
mandazioni di installazione Eaton.
E' necessario prevedere un'apposita protezione
con fusibili e contro le sovratensioni nell'armadio
di distribuzione (protezione primaria e seconda-
ria).
Non è consentita una sovratensione nell'impianto
legata ad altre utenze elettriche (per es. inseri-
mento di carichi), prevedere dei filtri.
Non sono consentiti la trasmissione di dati
nell'impianto utilizzato (per es. segnale per
comando ciclico dalla società erogatrice di
energia elettrica) oppure armoniche, prevedere
dei filtri.
Oscillazioni di luminosità brevi e transitorie delle
lampade con variatore di luce sono di norma
riconducibili ai segnali per comando ciclico citati
sopra, e non costituiscono un difetto dei nostri
apparecchi.
