RANGE EXTENDER
El Range Extender de Ebikemotion proporciona un incremen-
to de 208W/h a la batería interna principal en sistemas X35
de Ebikemotion, aumentando los 248W/h de la batería prin-
cipal para alcanzar una capacidad máxima de hasta 450W/h.
Este aumento de la capacidad total del sistema permitirá
incrementar hasta un 70% la autonomía alcanzada con la
batería interna.

CARGA DEL RANGE EXTENDER
El Range Extender funciona como un cargador portátil de la batería interna que carga la
batería principal mientras está encendido. Su funcionamiento diere de otros sistemas
en que en el X35 de Ebikemotion sólo la batería principal proporciona energía al motor,
al tiempo que el Range Extender va cargando la batería principal, tanto si hay deman-
da de corriente del motor a la batería principal como si no (velocidades superiores a
25km/h, no hay pedaleo o la bicicleta no está en movimiento).
El Range Extender proporciona carga a la batería principal a un ratio de descarga de 2A,
mientras que el motor puede demandar corriente hasta los 9A. Por lo tanto el Range
Extender no es capaz de suministrar la suciente corriente al motor de manera indepen-
diente, procediendo toda esta corriente de la batería principal.
Si la batería principal está descargada y el Range Extender conectado y encendido, será
necesario esperar a que el Range Extender haya cargado lo suciente la batería principal
para que el sistema pueda proporcionar asistencia eléctrica. Por ello se recomienda, en
caso de uso del Range Extender, tener siempre la unidad conectada a la batería princi-
pal a través del puerto de carga para asegurar la carga de la batería principal durante
el uso, permitiendo así alcanzar la mayor autonomía posible. En caso de uso intenso
del sistema en casos extremos en el modo de mayor asistencia durante periodos muy
prolongados, es posible que la batería se descargue completamente más rápidamente
de lo que el Range Extender es capaz de cargarla. En este caso habrá que esperar a que
la batería principal obtenga un nivel de carga del Range Extender suciente para poder
continuar la marcha con asistencia eléctrica.
Al actuar como cargador de la batería principal, el Range Extender es compatible con
cualquier versión del sistema X35 de Ebikemotion.
Tras conectar el Range Extender al puerto de carga de la bicicleta, enciende el Range Extender
presionando el botón Iwoc One de la parte superior de la unidad. La luz del botón se encenderá
en blanco. Para apagar el Range Extender, presiona de manera contínua el botón Iwoc One
durante 2-3 segundos.
Tras encender el Range Extender con la unidad conectada a la bicicleta, el botón Iwoc One del
tubo superior de la bicicleta comenzará a lucir y apagarse de manera continuada mostrando
el código de color correspondiente al nivel de carga actual de la batería principal, de la misma
manera que cuando el cargador está conectado al puerto de carga. La bicicleta proporcionará
asistencia normalmente y los modos de asistencia se podrán cambiar de la misma manera que
si el Range Extende no estuviese conectado.
Para asegurar la máxima autonomía contínua, asegurate de encender el Range Extender al mis-
mo tiempo que enciendes la bicicleta para su uso, de manera que el Range Extender comience
a proporcionar carga a la batería principal desde el primer momento.
El Range Extender empieza a cargar la batería interna cuando detecta que ésta se encuentra
a un nivel de carga de 85% o menos. Si se conecta el Range Extender a una batería interna
completamente cargada y se enciende el Range Extender, pasados unos minutos, al no estar
proporcionando carga, se apagará automáticamente.
Cuando el nivel de carga de la batería principal baje del 85%, será necesario encender el Range
Extender pulsando el botón del mismo para que comience a cargar la batería principal.
El Range Extender se puede cargar de manera independiente cuando se haya desconectado de la
bicicleta. Conecta el cargador X35 al puerto de carga de la parte superior de la unidad. Los niveles
de la carga del Range Extender se mostrarán con el mismo código de colores que la batería principal:
Blanco: 100%-75% / Verde: 74%-50% / Naranja: 49%-25% / Rojo: 24%-1%
La unidad también puede cargarse mientras está conectada a la batería principal. Conecta el carga-
dor al punto de carga del Range Extender con el cable del Range Extender conectado al punto de
carga de la bicicleta y ambas baterías se cargarán al mismo tiempo.
De manera alternativa, el nivel de carga del range Extender puede visualizarse a través de la apli-
cación para smartphones de Ebikemotion. La manera exacta en la que la carga se visualiza en la
aplicación dependerá de la versión del sistema X35 a la que se conecte el Range Extender.

El Range Extender debe ser instalado usando el portabidón especíco de
Ebikemotion incluído con la unidad.
La instalación del Range Extender en la bicicleta debe ser siempre en el
tubo de sillín del cuadro. La unidad no es compatible con montajes en el
tubo diagonal.
Para su instalación, separa el portabidón especíco de Ebikemotion de la
unidad. Luego instala el portabidón en el tubo de sillín de la bicicleta con
los tornillos M5x16 (2) y las arandelas incluídos (1). Las arandelas deben
quedar situadas entre la cabeza de cada tornillo y el portabidón.
Apretar los tornillos M5x16 con un par de apriete de 5Nm. Es recomen-
dable comprobar este par de apriete de manera regular antes del uso del
Range Extender en la bicicleta.
El Range Extender no es compatible con modelos eMX24 y Optima.
No es posible el montaje o conexión de dos unidades Range Extender en el
mismo sistema/bicicleta.

Intervalos de temperatura de la batería
Carga: De 10°C a 45°C
Descarga (funcionamiento): De -20°C a 60°C
Almacenamiento: De -20°C a 50°C
Estos intervalos han sido establecidos por el fabricante de
las celdas de las baterías. Se recomienda no almacenar la
batería a temperaturas inferiores a 0°C. Utilizar o alma-
cenar las baterías a temperaturas inferiores a 0°C podría
afectar a su capacidad total con el paso del tiempo.
Tiempo de carga
La batería x35 de ebikemotion está equipada con un sistema de gestión de batería que
interrumpe el ujo de corriente hasta la misma una vez que la carga alcanza el 100% para
evitar que las celdas sufran daños.
Sin embargo, se recomienda no dejar la bicicleta enchufada durante más de 8 horas
seguidas por si cualquier daño en el puerto de carga pudiera permitir que la corriente
siguiese uyendo una vez que la batería ha alcanzado el 100% de carga.
Almacenamiento del Range Extender durante perio-
dos prolongados.
Al almacenar el Range Extender durante períodos prolon-
gados, asegúrese de que el nivel de batería se encuentra
por encima del 80% de carga. Mantener niveles de carga
de batería bajos durante de períodos puede afectar a la
capacidad total de la batería. Una batería almacenada sin
utilizar puede perder su carga con el paso del tiempo. Ase-
gúrese de que el nivel de la batería nunca baje del 10%
para evitar que afecte a su capacidad. Deberá evitar que la
batería baje del 10% de carga de forma regular.

Cómo cualquier batería, el transporte del Range Extender debe hacerse
cumpliendo con la normativa vigente y los medios de transporte permi-
tidos para estos artículos. La unidad debe ser siempre enviada usando
el embalaje homologado original y un transportista homologado.
Infórmate de las condiciones de manejo y transporte de este tipo de
artículos en tu país.
Si el Range Extender debe ser enviado a Orbea para su reparación o
diagnóstico, debe hacerse en el embalaje original homologado y me-
diante un transportista habilitado para baterías. Desde Orbea te infor-
maremos de la mejor opción.

Si la bicicleta se almacena durante un periodo prolongado bajo temperaturas o condicio-
nes climatológicas extremas, sus componentes eléctricos podrían resultar dañados.
Lavar tu bicicleta
No utilice mangueras a presión para lavar la bicicleta. Si lo hace, podría dañar sus com-
ponentes mecánicos lubricados. Aunque el sistema X35 está sellado frente a la entrada
de lluvia o salpicaduras, al sumergirlo en agua o lavarlo a presión podría dañar sus com-
ponentes.
AUTONOMÍA
El sistema y la batería X35 de ebikemotion han sido diseñados para proporcionar el mayor
alcance disponible para un sistema de bicicleta eléctrica a pedales de peso y dimensiones
reducidos.
Sin embargo, es importante tener en cuenta que existen varios factores que pueden afec-
tar al alcance y el rendimiento general de la batería de la bicicleta eléctrica:
*Peso del ciclista
*Potencia suministrada por el ciclista
*Uso de los modos de asistencia del sistema
*Terreno (pendiente y condiciones del pavimento)
*Neumáticos (presión y banda de rodadura)
*Geometría del cuadro (las geometrías más erguidas son menos ecientes)
*Temperatura (las temperaturas extremas pueden afectar negativamente al rendimiento
de la batería)
Los tiempos de autonomía en la sección 2 de la guía rápida Mahle para el Range Extender
son estimaciones en condiciones ideales de uso. Esta autonomía se verán afectada por
los agentes mencionados más arriba.
No inserte objetos metálicos en el puerto de carga ni en
ninguno de los conectores de los componentes. Esto po-
dría provocar daños en los conectores o incluso cortocir-
cuitar el sistema.
Realice siempre las conexiones entre componentes si-
guiendo la orientación correcta para evitar causar daños
a los conectores.

The Range Extender from Ebikemotion provides an extra
208W/h to the main internal battery on Ebikemotion’s X35
systems, increasing the 248W/h of the main battery up to a
maximum capacity of as much as 450W/h.
This increase in total capacity of the system will make it
possible to increase the autonomy achieved with the internal
battery by up to 70%.

CHARGING THE RANGE EXTENDER
The Range Extender works like a portable internal battery charger that charges the main
battery while it is turned on. It operates differently from other systems in that on the
Ebikemotion X35, only the main battery provides power to the motor, while the Range
Extender charges the main battery, regardless of whether the motor demands current
from the main battery or not (such as at speeds greater than 25 km/h, when there is no
pedaling or the bicycle is not moving).
The Range Extender provides charge to the main battery at a discharge ratio of 2A, while
the motor can demand current of up to 9A. Therefore, the Range Extender is not capable
of supplying enough current to the motor by itself, and all this current comes from the
main battery.
If the main battery is discharged and the Range Extender is connected and turned on,
you must wait until the Range Extender has charged the main battery enough for the
system to provide electrical assistance. For this reason, it is recommended that when-
ever you use the Range Extender, always keep the unit connected to the main battery
through the charging port in order to make sure that the main battery charges during
use, thus ensuring the maximum possible autonomy. In the case of intensive use of the
system in extreme cases, in the top assistance mode during long periods of time, the
battery may completely discharge faster than the Range Extender is able to charge it.
In this case, you will need to wait for the main battery to have enough charge from the
Range Extender to be able to continue riding with electrical assistance.
Acting as the main battery charger, the Range Extender is compatible with any version
of the Ebikemotion X35 system.
After connecting the Range Extender to the bicycle charging port, turn on the Range Extender
by pressing the Iwoc One button on the top of the unit. The light on the button will turn white. To
turn off the Range Extender, press and hold the Iwoc One button for 2-3 seconds.
After turning on the Range Extender with the unit connected to the bicycle, the Iwoc One button
on the top tube of the bicycle will blink continuously in the color corresponding to the current
level of charge of the main battery, just like when the charger is connected to the charging port.
The bicycle will provide assistance as normal and the assistance modes can be changed just as
if the Range Extender were not connected.
To ensure maximum continuous autonomy, be sure to turn on the Range Extender as soon as
you turn on the bicycle for use, so that the Range Extender begins to charge the main battery
from the very beginning.
The Range Extender begins to charge once the internal battery is at 85% of charge or below. If
the Range Extender is connected to a fully charged internal battery and the Range Extender is
turned on, after a few minutes, when no charge is being provided, it iwll automatically turn off.
When the carge level of the main battery drops below 85%, it will be necessary to turn on the
Range Extender by pressin the button to start chargin the main battery.
The Range Extender can be charged by itself when it is disconnected from the bicycle. Connect the
X35 charger to the charging port on the top of the unit. The charge levels of the Range Extender will
be displayed using the same color code as the main battery:
White: 100%-75% / Green: 74%-50% / Orange: 49%-25% / Red: 24%-1%.
The unit can also be charged while it is connected to the main battery. Connect the charger to the
charging point of the Range Extender using the Range Extender cable connected to the charging
point of the bicycle and both batteries will charge at the same time.
Alternatively, the charging level of the Range Extender can be seen on the Ebikemotion smartphone
application. The exact way in which the charge is displayed in the application will depend on the
version of the X35 system to which the Range Extender is connected.

THE RANGE EXTENDER
OK GAIN
The Range Extender must be installed using the specic Ebikemotion bottle
holder included with the unit.
The Range Extender must always be installed on the seat tube of the bicy-
cle frame. The unit is not compatible with mounting on the diagonal tube.
For installation, separate the specic Ebikemotion bottle holder from the
unit. Then install the bottle holder on the seat tube of the bicycle using the
M5x16 (2) screws and washers included (1). The washers must be placed
between the head of each screw and the bottle holder.
Tighten the M5x16 screws to a tightening torque of 5Nm. It is recommend-
able to check this tightening torque on a regular basis before using the
Range Extender on the bicycle.
The Range Extender is not compatible with eMX24 models and Optima.
It is not possible to mount or connect two Range Extender units on the
same system/bicycle.

Battery temperature intervals
Charging: 10 °C - 45 °C
Discharging (in use): -20°C - 60°C
Storage: -20°C - 50°C
These intervals have been established by the battery cell
manufacturer. It is recommended not to store the battery
at temperatures below 0 °C. Using or storing batteries at
temperatures below 0 °C could affect their total capacity
over time.
Charging time
The Ebikemotion X35 battery is equipped with a battery management system that inter-
rupts the ow of current to the battery once the charge reaches 100% to prevent damage
to the cells.
However, it is recommended not to leave the bicycle plugged in for more than 8 consecu-
tive hours in case any damage to the charging port might let the current continue to ow
once the battery has reached a full charge.
Storing the Range Extender for long periods of time.
When storing the Range Extender for long periods of time,
make sure that the battery level is above 80%. Maintaining
the battery at low levels of charge over long periods of
time can affect the total capacity of the battery. An unused
battery in storage can lose its charge over time. Make sure
that the battery level never drops below 10% to prevent it
form affecting its capacity. Avoid letting the battery charge
drop below 10% on a regular basis.

Like any battery, the Range Extender must be transported according
to current regulations and the means of transport permitted for these
items. The unit must always be shipped using the original approved
packaging and an approved carrier.
Find out about the conditions for handling and transporting this type of
item in your country.
If the Range Extender must be sent to Orbea for repairs or diagnosis, it
must be shipped in its original approved packaging and via a shipping
company that is qualied to transport batteries. Orbea can give you
information about the best option.

If the bicycle is stored for a long period of time at low temperatures or in extreme
weather conditions, its electrical components may be damaged.
Washing your bicycle
Do not use pressurized hoses to wash your bicycle. If you do, you could damage the
lubricated mechanical components. Even though the X35 system is sealed to protect it
against rain and splashing, when submerged in water or pressure washed, its components
could be damaged.
AUTONOMY
The Ebikemotion X35 system and battery have been designed to provide the greatest
range available for a pedal-operated ebike system with a reduced size and weight.
However, it is important to bear in mind that there are several factors that can affect the
range and overall performance of the ebike battery:
*Cyclist weight:
*Power supplied by the cyclist
*Use of system assistance modes
*Terrain (slope and pavement conditions)
*Tires (pressure and tread)
*Frame geometry (more upright geometries are less efcient)
*Temperature (extreme temperatures can negatively affect battery performance)
The autonomy times indicated in Section 2 of the Mahle Quick Start Guide for the Range
Extender are estimates under ideal conditions of use. This autonomy will be affected by
the agents mentioned above.
Do not insert metal objects in the charging port or in any
of the component connectors. This could damage the con-
nectors or even short-circuit the system.
Always connect components in the proper direction to pre-
vent damage to the connectors.

Le Range Extender fonctionne comme un chargeur portable de la batterie interne qui
charge la batterie principale tant qu'il est allumé. Son fonctionnement est différent des
autres systèmes, car avec le X35 d'Ebikemotion, le moteur est exclusivement alimenté
par la batterie principale et cette dernière est chargée par le Range Extender, qu'il y ait
une demande d'énergie du moteur à la batterie principale ou pas (vitesse supérieure à
25km/h, pas de pédalage ou le vélo ne se déplace pas).
Le Range Extender fournit de la charge à la batterie principale selon un débit de dé-
charge de 2A, alors que le moteur peut demander du courant jusqu'à 9A. Par consé-
quent, le Range Extender ne peut pas à lui seul fournir le courant sufsant au moteur, la
batterie principale fournissant toute l'alimentation nécessaire.
Si la batterie principale est déchargée et le Range Extender raccordé et allumé, il faut
attendre que ce dernier ait sufsamment chargé la batterie principale pour que le sys-
tème puisse fournir une assistance électrique. Il est donc recommandé que si l'on utilise
le Range Extender, ce dernier soit raccordé en permanence à la batterie principale à
travers le port de charge, pour garantir le chargement de cette dernière pendant l'utili-
sation et disposer d'une autonomie maximale. En cas d'utilisation intensive du système
dans des situations extrêmes et en mode d'assistance maximale pendant de très lon-
gues périodes, la batterie risque de se décharger totalement, à une vitesse supérieure à
celle à laquelle le Range Extender est capable de la charger. Dans ce cas, il faut attendre
que la batterie principale atteigne un niveau de charge sufsant grâce au Range Exten-
der pour pouvoir continuer à rouler avec une assistance électrique.
Le Range Extender joue le rôle de chargeur de la batterie principal, il est donc compa-
tible avec toutes les versions du système X35 d'Ebikemotion.
Après le raccordement du Range Extender au port de charge du vélo, enfoncez le bouton Iwoc
One, dans la partie supérieure de l'appareil, pour le démarrer. Le voyant du bouton devient

Après avoir démarré le Range Extender avec l'unité raccordée au vélo, le bouton Iwoc One sur
le tube supérieur du vélo se met à clignoter en afchant en permanence le code couleur corres-
pondant au niveau de charge actuel de la batterie principale, de la même manière que lorsque
le chargeur est raccordé au port de charge. Le vélo fournit alors une assistance normale et il est
possible de changer les modes d'assistance de la même façon que si le Range Extender n'était
pas raccordé.
Pour garantir une autonomie maximale continue, veillez à démarrer le Range Extender en même
temps que le vélo, an qu'il commence à charger la batterie principale immédiatement.
Le Range Extender commence à charger une fois que la batterie interne est à 85% de la charge
ou au- dessous. Si le Range Extender est connecté à une batterie interne complètement chargée
et que le Range Extender est activée ; après quelques minutes, sans fournir de charge, il se met-
tra automatiquement hors tension. Lorsque le niveau de charge de la batterie principale tombe
en dessous de 85%, il sera nécessaire de mettre en marche le Range Extender par une pression
sur le bouton pour démarrer la charge de la batterie principale.
Lorsqu'il n'est pas raccordé au vélo, le Range Extender peut être chargé de façon séparée. Branchez
le chargeur X35 sur le port de charge de la partie supérieure de l'appareil Les niveaux de charge du
Range Extender s'afchent avec le même code de couleurs que la batterie principale:
Blanc: 100%-75% / Vert: 74%-50% / Orange: 49%-25% / Rouge: 24%-1%
L'appareil peut également se charger pendant qu'il est raccordé à la batterie principale. Branchez
le chargeur sur le point de charge du Range Extender, avec le câble de ce dernier relié au point de
charge du vélo. Les deux batteries seront chargées en même temps.
Le niveau de charge du Range Extender peut également être visualisé dans l'application d'Ebike-
motion pour smartphone. L'afchage de la charge dans l'application peut varier en fonction de la
version du système X35 auquel on raccorde le Range Extender.

Le Range Extender doit être installé au moyen du porte-bidon spécique
Ebikemotion fourni avec l'appareil.
Le Range Extender doit toujours être installé sur le tube de selle du cadre.
Pour réaliser l'installation, séparez le porte-bidon spécique d'Ebikemotion
de l'appareil. Fixez ensuite le porte-bidon sur le tube de selle du vélo avec
les vis M5x16 (2) et les rondelles incluses (1). Les rondelles doivent se
trouver entre la tête de la vis et le porte-bidon.
Serrez les vis M5x16 selon un couple de serrage de 5Nm. Il est conseillé
de vérier régulièrement ce couple de serrage, avant d'utiliser le Range
Extender.
Le Range Extender n’est pas compatible avec les modèles eMX et Optima
Il est impossible de monter ou de brancher deux unités du Range Extender
sur le même système/vélo.

Plages de températures de la batterie

Ces plages ont été dénies par le fabricant des cellules
de la batterie. Il est conseillé de ne pas stocker la batterie
à des températures inférieures à 0°C. L'utilisation ou le
stockage des batteries à des températures inférieures à
0°C peut affecter leur capacité totale au l du temps.
Temps de charge
La batterie x35 d'Ebikemotion est équipée d'un système de gestion de batterie qui inter-
rompt le passage du courant lorsque la charge atteint 100%, pour éviter d'endommager
les cellules.
Il est toutefois recommandé de ne pas laisser le vélo branché pendant plus de 8heures
consécutives, car si le port de charge est endommagé, le courant peut continuer à circuler
une fois que la batterie a atteint 100% de charge.
Stockage du Range Extender pendant de longues pé-
riodes.
Lorsque le Range Extender est stocké pendant de longues
périodes, il faut s'assurer que le niveau de charge de la
batterie est supérieur à 80%. Si les niveaux de charge de
la batterie restent faibles pendant de longues périodes, la
capacité globale de la batterie peut diminuer. Une batte-
rie stockée et non utilisée peut perdre sa charge avec le
temps. Veillez à ce que le niveau de la batterie ne soit
jamais inférieur à 10%, pour éviter d'affecter sa capacité.
Vous devez éviter de manière régulière que la charge de la
batterie ne descende sous 10%.

Si le vélo est stocké pendant une longue période de temps dans des conditions
climatiques ou des températures extrêmes, ses composants électriques risquent d'être
endommagés.
Laver votre vélo
N'utilisez jamais de tuyau sous pression pour laver le vélo. Vous risqueriez d'endommager
ses éléments mécaniques lubriés. Bien que le système X35 soit étanche à la pluie ou
aux éclaboussures, l'immersion dans l'eau ou le lavage sous pression peut endommager
ses composants.
AUTONOMIE
Le système et la batterie X35 d'Ebikemotion ont été conçus pour offrir la plus large au-
tonomie disponible pour un système de vélo électrique à pédales avec un poids et des
dimensions réduits.
Cependant, il est convient de noter qu'il existe plusieurs facteurs susceptibles d'affecter
l'autonome et les performances globales de la batterie du vélo électrique:
*Poids du cycliste
*Puissance fournie par le cycliste
*Utilisation des modes d'assistance du système
*Terrain (inclinaison et état de la chaussée)
*Pneus (pression et bande de roulement)
*Géométrie (les géométries les plus verticales sont les moins efcaces)
*Température (les températures extrêmes peuvent avoir une inuence négative sur le
rendement de la batterie)
Les niveaux d'autonomie indiqués dans la section2 du guide rapide Mahle pour le Range
Extender sont des estimations dans des conditions d'utilisation idéales. Les facteurs men-
tionnés plus haut ont une incidence sur l'autonomie.
N'insérez jamais d'objets métalliques dans le point de
charge ou dans les connecteurs des composants. Vous ris-
queriez d'endommager les connecteurs, voire de court-cir-
cuiter le système.
Il faut toujours effectuer le branchement de ces connec-
teurs dans le sens approprié, pour éviter de les endom-
mager.

LADEN DES RANGE EXTENDERS
Der Range Extender funktioniert wie ein tragbares Ladegerät der internen Batterie, das
während des Betriebs die Hauptbatterie auädt. Die Funktionsweise unterscheidet sich
von anderen Systemen dadurch, dass beim X35 von Ebikemotion der Motor nur über die
Hauptbatterie mit Strom versorgt wird, während der Range Extender die Hauptbatterie
immer auädt, d.h., unabhängig davon, ob ein Strombedarf vom Motor zur Hauptbat-
terie besteht oder nicht (Geschwindigkeiten über 25km/h, kein Treten oder, wenn sich
das Fahrrad nicht bewegt).
Der Range Extender lädt die Hauptbatterie mit einer Entladerate von 2A auf, während
der Motor Strom bis zu 9A aufnehmen kann. Daher kann der Range Extender den Motor
nicht unabhängig mit genügend Strom versorgen und dieser Strom kommt vollständig
von der Hauptbatterie.
Wenn die Hauptbatterie entladen ist und der Range Extender angeschlossen und einge-
schaltet ist, muss gewartet werden, bis der Range Extender die Hauptbatterie so weit
aufgeladen hat, dass das System elektrische Unterstützung leisten kann. Es wird daher
empfohlen, dass das Gerät bei Verwendung des Range Extenders immer über den La-
deanschluss mit dem Hauptbatterie verbunden sein sollte, um das Laden der Hauptbat-
terie während der Nutzung zu gewährleisten und so eine größtmögliche Reichweite zu
erreichen. Bei einer intensiven Nutzung des Systems ist es im Extremfall im höchsten
Assistenzmodus über sehr lange Zeiträume möglich, dass sich der Akku schneller voll-
ständig entladen kann, als der Range Extender ihn laden kann. In diesem Fall muss
man warten, bis die Hauptbatterie vom Range Extender einen ausreichenden Ladestand
erreicht, um mit elektrischer Unterstützung weiterfahren zu können.
Als Ladegerät der Hauptbatterie ist der Range Extender mit jeder Version des
X35-Systems von Ebikemotion kompatibel.
Nach dem Anschließen des Range Extenders an den Ladeanschluss des Fahrrads den Range Ex-
tender durch Drücken der Iwoc One-Taste auf der Oberseite des Geräts einschalten. Das Tasten-
licht leuchtet weiß auf. Um den Range Extender auszuschalten, die Iwoc One-Taste 2-3 Sekunden
lang durchgehend drücken.
Nach dem Einschalten des Range Extenders mit dem am Fahrrad angeschlossenen Gerät beginnt
die Iwoc One-Taste am Oberrohr des Fahrrads zu leuchten und schaltet sich kontinuierlich aus,
während sie den Farbcode entsprechend dem aktuellen Ladezustand der Hauptbatterie anzeigt,
so, wie wenn das Ladegerät an den Ladeanschluss angeschlossen ist. Das Fahrrad fährt normal
unterstützt und die Assistenzmodi können genauso geändert werden, als ob der Range Extender
nicht angeschlossen wäre.
Um eine maximale kontinuierliche Reichweite zu gewährleisten, den Range Extender gleichzeitig
mit dem Einschalten des Fahrrads einschalten, damit der Range Extender die Hauptbatterie vom
ersten Moment an lädt.
Der Range Extender startet den Ladevorgang, wenn der Ladestand des interne Akkus bei 85
% oder niedriger liegt. Wird der Range Extender bei Verbindung zu einem komplett geladenen
internen Akku aktiviert, schaltet er sich nach wenigen Minuten automatisch wieder ab. Sinkt der
Ladestand des internen Akkus unter 85 % sinkt, muss der Range Extender durch Drücken des
Knopfes erneut aktiviert werden, um den Ladevorgang zu starten.
Der Range Extender kann unabhängig aufgeladen werden, wenn er vom Fahrrad getrennt ist. Das
X35-Ladegerät an den Ladeanschluss auf der Oberseite des Geräts anschließen. Die Ladezustände
des Range Extenders werden im gleichen Farbcode wie der Hauptbatterie angezeigt:
Weiß: 100%-75% / Grün: 74%-50% / Orange: 49%-25% / Rot: 24%-1%
Das Gerät kann auch geladen werden, während es an die Hauptbatterie angeschlossen ist. Das Lade-
gerät an den Range Extender-Ladeanschluss anschließen, so dass das Range Extender-Kabel an den
Fahrrad-Ladeanschluss angeschlossen ist und beide Akkus gleichzeitig geladen werden.
Alternativ kann der Ladezustand des Range Extenders über die Smartphone-Anwendung von Ebike-
motion eingesehen werden. Die genaue Anzeige des Ladestands in der App hängt von der Version
des X35-Systems ab, an das der Range Extender angeschlossen ist.

Der Range Extender muss mit dem spezischen Flaschenhalter von Ebike-
motion installiert werden, der zu dem Gerät geliefert wird.
Der Range Extender muss stets im Sitzrohr des Rahmens am Fahrrad befes-
tigt werden. Das Gerät kann nicht an diagonalen Rohren montiert werden.
Zur Installation den spezischen Flaschenhalter von Ebikemotion vom Ge-
rät trennen. Dann den Flaschenhalter mit den Schrauben M5x16 (2) und
den mitgelieferten Unterlegscheiben (1) am Sitzrohr des Fahrrads montie-
ren. Die Unterlegscheiben sollten sich zwischen dem Kopf jeder Schraube
und dem Flaschenhalter benden.
Die Schrauben M5x16 mit einem Drehmoment von 5Nm anziehen. Es ist
ratsam, dieses Anzugsdrehmoment regelmäßig zu überprüfen, bevor man
den Range Extender am Fahrrad verwendet.
Der Range Extender ist nicht kompatibel mit dem Modelle eMX und Opti-
ma.
Es ist nicht möglich, zwei Range Extender Einheiten an das gleiche System
bzw. Bike zu montieren oder anzuschließen.

Diese Intervalle wurden vom Hersteller der Batteriezellen
festgelegt. Es wird empfohlen, den Akku nicht bei Tempe-
raturen unter 0°C zu lagern. Die Verwendung oder Lage-
rung von Akkus bei Temperaturen unter 0°C kann die volle
Kapazität mit der Zeit beeinträchtigen.
Ladezeit
Die Batterie x35 von Ebikemotion ist mit einem Batteriemanagementsystem ausgestat-
tet, das den Stromuss unterbricht, bis sie 100% Ladung erreicht, um Zellschäden zu
vermeiden.
Es wird jedoch empfohlen, das Fahrrad nicht länger als 8 Stunden am Stück eingesteckt
zu lassen, falls eine Beschädigung des Ladeanschlusses dazu führen könnte, dass der
Strom weiter ießt, nachdem der Akku 100% geladen ist.
Aufbewahrung des Range Extender über längere Zeit-
räume.
Wenn der Range Extender über einen längeren Zeitraum
aufbewahrt wird, sollte der Batteriestand über 80% der
Ladung liegen. Ein geringer Ladezustand der Batterie
über einen längeren Zeitraum kann die Gesamtkapazität
der Batterie beeinträchtigen. Ein unbenutzter Akku kann
mit der Zeit seine Ladung verlieren. Der Akkustand darf
niemals unter 10% sinken, um die Kapazität nicht zu be-
einträchtigen. Du solltest verhindern, dass der Akku regel-
mäßig unter 10% Ladung fällt.

mit den geltenden Vorschriften und den für diese Artikel zugelassenen
Transportmitteln transportiert werden. Das Gerät muss immer in der
