The device switches to alarm state when the detected smoke reaches the
alarm threshold. Red alarm LEDs turn on in case of alarm. In addition to that,
the relay is activated and terminal 2 short-circuited to terminal 3. If the contact
between terminal 5 and terminal 6 is closed, alarm condition continues at
least 30 seconds. If the detected smoke falls below the alarm threshold after
30 seconds, the alarm status will be terminated and the detector will returns
its normal operation. If the contact is open, the alarm continues until power
off.
The relay at the end of line is installed to provide communication between
supply and region. In case of a fault in the supply cables, the relay opens the
contact in the region and triggers the panel to alarm. In case of relay is not
installed and there is a fault on supply cables, an alarm will not occur on panel
so the panel cannot detect that the detectors are not operating.

LED
Impurity Compensation (Drift Compensation)
The impurity compensation is a microprocessor controlled and smart
algorithm compensating the impurity of the optical cell up to a certain level.
When it reaches to the limit level, it gives a warning by flashing the error LED
in every 4 seconds for cleaning the cover. When warning seen, the impurity
occurring on the optical cell should be cleaned.
Live Indicator LED
It flashes in every 8 seconds and indicates that the device is operating. Its
color is green.
Alarm Indicator LED
It lights when the alarm is detected and stays lighted from the alarm script till
passing to the normal state. Its color is red.

mounting, implementation, operating and maintenance EN54-7 standard and
local regulations.

Installation
Place the detector to its base, and rotate clockwise till hearing the click
sound (Figure 1).
The detector shall be locked to its base. You can also make another locking
operation by rotating the allen screw found in the base for those with 5 pins.
Test absolutely after mounting the detector to its place.
Rotate counter-clockwise while demounting the detector.
Maintenance
Separate the detector from its base (It is rotated counter-clockwise).
Remove the upper plastic cover (Figure 2).
Clean and dry the dusts with a damp cloth (Figure 3).
Place the detector to its base after mounting the cover.
