Simple and easy to use, all system functions can be operated remotely by using

control unit.

The components supplied in this kit are for installation and use in the manner
and for the purpose described in the installation manual and the user manual.
The installation must also comply with each country's current regulations.
This manual assumes that the unit has been correctly installed
and is fully operational.
If the device has not been installed yet, follow the instructions provided in the
Installation Sheet included in this kit.

1.- None of the functions (except ON/OFF) work unless the remote
control is in “on” mode.
2.- Functions pertaining to operating the audio signal only work
when “mute” is cancelled.
3.- The LED on the data receiver can change color depending on the
control unit's mode:

GREEN the unit is on
RED the unit is receiving data from the remote control

5.- The mains plug is used as the disconnect device so, once the
is connected to the mains, it will remain powered
even if it is in the OFF state. That means that the OFF state (as
indicated in this manual) really means a “standby” state

2. General Operating Notes
The control unit generates sound signals to communicate the
status of operations carried out. These signals are reflected in
this manual as follows:
A short BEEP sound signal indicates that the data
was received.
A long BEEP sound signal indicates that an
operation was correctly completed.
A series of BEEP sound signals indicates that a
clearing operation was executed or that there is an
error.
A BO BEEP sound signal indicates that the memory
pre-set station tuned at the moment is station
number one, or that the tuner's frequency is set at
87.5 MHz (the lowest on the dial).
Certain operations require a remote control key to be held down
for a certain amount of time. This is indicated in the manual by
a hand symbol next to the key.

3. Operating Audio Functions
Increase/decrease in the signal volume: The LED will flash
between RED and GREEN to indicate the desired change in volume.
When the maximum/minimum level is reached, the LED will stay lit
and be GREEN.
Increase/decrease in bass/treble levels: The LED will flash between
RED and GREEN to indicate the desired change in the bass/treble
levels. When the maximum/minimum level is reached, the LED will
stay lit and be GREEN.
Mute: If the unit becomes silent (mute activated), the LED will flash
once in RED. If the mute function is cancelled, the LED will flash four
times.
Loudness: It reinforces the bass level in terms of the signal volume, assuming a greater
backing at a lower volume and a lesser backing at a higher volume. The LED will flash once in
RED if the loudness has been activated (backing) or four times if it is cancelled.
Mono/stereo reception: When activated, this feature allows the FM stations to be received in stereo (the LED will flash
once in RED). When cleared, this feature only allows for mono reception (the LED will flash four times in RED).
Note: If the control unit's configuration is mono (see Installation Sheet supplied with this kit), the signal will always be
received in mono even if the signal received by the antenna is in stereo.
If the control unit is off, a brief press on the will
gradually turn on the unit (between 1 and 2 seconds).
While the unit is gradually turning on/off, the LED will be RED.
Once the control unit is ready to receive additional commands from
the remote control, the LED will be GREEN.
When the control unit is off, the LED will be OFF.

Key Sequence Sound Signal
To directly key in an FM station frequency, sequentially press the numeric keys of the
station frequency then press the FM key. For example, to select 94.7, press 9 4 7 FM.
Each correctly entered digit will be followed by a BEEP sound signal and a RED LED flash.
Note: A station frequency can be keyed in as either 94.7 (9 4 7 FM) or as 94.70 (9 4
7 0 FM).
If the frequency keyed in is not correct or if more digits than necessary are keyed in, the
error will be noted with a BEEP-BEEP-BEEP-BEEP type signal.
To clear a digit keyed in and start keying in a different frequency, press the C key and
then begin keying in the desired frequency.

4.2 Directly Keying Station Frequency
While the search is taking place, the LED will be RED.
Once the station has been found, the LED turns GREEN.
When the search is going “up” the tuner, a BO BEEP signal sounds when the end of the
frequency range is reached. The next press of the key will start the search from the
beginning of the frequency range (87.5 MHz).

4.4 Storing and Clearing Station Frequencies Manually

4.2. Directly Keying Station Frequency). Hold down the FM key for 2”. The station tuned
at that time will be stored in the memory.

The MEM+/MEM- keys allow you to scroll through the stations stored in memory (see
Chapters 2.6 and 2.7, Storing and Clearing Stations in Memory).
When stations are stored in memory they are sorted in ascending order; that is, beginning
with 87.5 and ending with 108.0.
When memory n# 1 is called up, the typical BO-BEEP audio signal sounds.

4.3 Tuning to FM Memory Pre-Sets
If there are no stations stored in memory, the sound signal and LED will be the same as
when there is an error.

To activate the process for all the memory slots,
hold down 6 key for 5”.

While the key is held down, the LED will be RED. Once the operation to scan stations has
begun, the LED will alternately flash between GREEN and RED.
The control unit will store into memory the stations that are received with the highest
quality, ordered from lowest frequency (87.5 MHz) to highest frequency (108.0 MHz).
The system will use all the memory slots available, reaching the maximum of 20.
The process can take a few moments. Once the scan has been completed or once the
maximum number of memory slots has been used, the process ends and a long BEEP
signal sounds.

4.5 Storing and Clearing Station Frequencies Automatically
To adjust the automatic station search sensitivity (see 4.1. Station Search), hold down the
1 and 3 keys (1=minimum, 3= maximum) for 5”. While the key is held down, the LED
will be RED. A BEEP sound signal will indicate that the new level of sensitivity has been
correctly stored.

5. Selecting Turn-On Mode

This function is designed for use in the
event that the
power supply is fed by a specifically
designated switch. In this case, the
automatic activation mode must be
programmed in order to automatically
turn on the unit
when the switch is activated.
These steps must be followed:

1. Supply power to the unit by flicking the switch.
2. The unit will flicker a couple of times and turn off.
3. Turn on the unit using the remote control (ON/OFF key).
4. With the unit turned on, keep the ON/OFF key pressed down

6. “Ideal” mode
The “ideal” mode of operation can be instantly accessed by pressing the IDEAL key on the
remote control. In this mode, a specific station is played at particular levels of volume,
bass, treble and loudness.
To program your “ideal” mode of operation, select the desired levels of volume, bass,
treble and loudness, as well as the station frequency. Then hold down the IDEAL key for
2”. When the IDEAL mode has been successfully stored, the typical signal will sound.

7. Play your iPod through

1. Select an FM frequency on your .

you hear nothing but static noise with no audio in the
background nor any of the neighboring frequencies.

any other FM transmitter

Este equipo ha sido diseñado y testeado para suministrar una protección razonable contra

Para cambiar las pilas, extraiga la tapa posterior del mando apretando la pinza a la

KKBSOUND®PLUS nace como un módulo de sonorización pensado para una
fácil y rápida instalación, sin obras, sin cableados, sin pre-instalación.
Su manejo se realiza de manera sencilla y cómoda, a través de un mando a
distancia de altas prestaciones, que permitirá el acceso a cualquier función sin
necesidad de desplazarse hasta el punto donde está instalado el módulo de
control.
Perfectamente integrado en la decoración de la cocina o del baño, ofrece las
siguientes características básicas:
Los componentes suministrados en este kit debe ser instalados y utilizado en
la forma y finalidad prevista en el manual de instalación y en el manual de
usuario. Su instalación debe asimismo cumplir con los reglamentos vigentes
en cada país.
Este manual presupone que está perfectamente instalado
y en funcionamiento. Si aún no ha realizado la instalación del mismo siga
las instrucciones indicadas en la Hoja de Instalación suministrada con el kit.

1.- Todos los comandos (excepto el de ON/OFF) sólo funcionan con
el mando en estado "encendido”

El módulo de control genera unas señales acústicas que sirven
de orientación sobre el resultado de las operaciones que se
están llevando a cabo. Estas señales se indican en este manual
de la siguiente manera:
una señal acústica BIP corta indica dato ok
una señal acústica BIP larga indica una operación
finalizada ok
una señal acústica BIP-BIP-BIP-BIP indica una
operación de borrado o un error
una señal acústica BO-BIP indica que la memoria
sintonizada en ese momento es la nº1, o bien que
la frecuencia en la que se sitúa el sintonizador es
87,5MHz (el nivel inferior de la banda).
Ciertas operaciones requieren mantener pulsada una tecla del
mando a distancia durante un tiempo determinado. Esto viene
indicado en el manual con el símbolo de una mano al lado de la
tecla.

Aumento/disminución del volumen de la señal:el indicador
luminoso parpadeará entre los colores ROJO-VERDE para indicar
la variación del nivel de volumen deseado. Cuando se llegue al
máximo/mínimo quedará iluminado de manera fija en VERDE.
Aumento/disminución de los niveles de graves (BASS)/
agudos(TREBLE):el indicador luminoso parpadeará entre los colores
ROJO-VERDE para indicar la variación del nivel de graves/agudos
deseado. Cuando se llegue al máximo/mínimo quedará iluminado de
manera fija en VERDE.
Mute: si queda en silencio (mute activado) el indicador luminoso parpadeará una
vez en ROJO; si el mute queda desactivado el indicador parpadeará 4 veces.
Loudness: refuerza el nivel de graves en función del volumen de la señal, suponiendo un mayor
refuerzo a volumen bajo, y menor a volumen alto. El indicador luminoso parpadeará una vez en
ROJO si el loudness queda activado (refuerzo), o 4 veces si queda desactivado.
Recepción mono/estéreo: cuando está activado permite la recepción en estéreo de emisoras FM (el indicador
luminoso parpadeará una vez en ROJO); cuando está desactivado obliga a que la recepción sea en mono (el
indicador luminoso parpadeará 4 veces en ROJO).
Nota: si la configuración del módulo es mono (ver Hoja de Instalación suministrada con el kit) aunque la señal
recibida por la antena sea estereo, se escuchará siempre en mono.

Si el módulo está apagado, con una breve actuación sobre la

Mientras dura el encendido/apagado gradual el indicador luminoso se
muestra en ROJO.
Una vez el módulo está preparado para recibir más órdenes desde el
mando a distancia, el indicador luminoso se muestra en VERDE.
Con el módulo apagado el indicador luminoso se muestra APAGADO.

Secuencia teclas Señal acústica
Para seleccionar directamente una emisora de FM pulsar secuencialmente las teclas
numéricas de la frecuencia de la emisora finalizando con la tecla FM. Por ejemplo, para
94.7, pulsar 9 - 4 - 7 - FM.
Cada entrada correcta de un dígito irá acompañada de una señal acústica de tipo BIP y
un parpadeo del indicador luminoso ROJO.
Nota: la frecuencia de una emisora puede introducirse como 94,7 (9 - 4 - 7 - FM) o
como 94,70 (9 - 4 - 7 - 0 - FM).
Si la frecuencia introducida no es correcta o si se introducen más cifras de las necesarias,
el error se indicará con una señal de tipo BIP-BIP-BIP-BIP.
Si se quiere borrar la cifra marcada para volver a comenzar la introducción de una
nueva frecuencia, pulsar la tecla C. A continuación se puede volver a iniciar la
introducción de la frecuencia deseada.

4.2 Selección directa de una emisora
Mientras dura el proceso de búsqueda el indicador luminoso se muestra en ROJO.
Una vez encontrada la emisora, pasa a VERDE.
Cuando el proceso de búsqueda es "hacia arriba", se genera una señal del tipo BO-BIP
indicando que se ha llegado al final de la banda. La siguiente pulsación de la tecla
comenzará la búsqueda partiendo del principio de la banda (87,5MHz).
4.1 Búsqueda de emisoras

Cuando el proceso de búsqueda es "hacia abajo", se genera una señal del tipo BO-BIP
indicando que se ha llegado al principio de la banda. La siguiente pulsación de la tecla
comenzará la búsqueda partiendo del final de la banda (108,0MHz).

4.4 Memorización y borrado manual de emisoras

en este momento quedará guardada en memoria.

alguna memoria, quedará borrada.

Las teclas MEM+/MEM- permiten moverse por las diferentes emisoras almacenadas en
memoria (ver capítulos 4.4 y 4.5 Memorización y borrado de emisoras).
Cuando se almacenan emisoras en memoria, éstas quedan ordenadas siguiendo un
orden ascendente, esto es, comenzando por 87,5 hasta 108,0.
Cuando se llega a la memoria nº1, la señal acústica es la característica de tipo BO-BIP.

Mientras se mantiene pulsada la tecla, el indicador luminoso estará en ROJO. Una vez
comience la operación de barrido de emisoras el indicador luminoso irá parpadeando
entre VERDE y ROJO.
El módulo de control memorizará las emisoras que se reciban con mejor calidad,
quedando ordenadas de menor (87,5MHz) a mayor (108,0MHz).
Utilizará todas las memorias que disponga libres hasta un máximo de 20.
Este proceso puede llevar unos segundos. Una vez finalizada la búsqueda, o una vez
sobrepasado el máximo número de memorias, finaliza el proceso con una señal

4.5 Memorización y borrado automático de emisoras
Para ajustar el nivel de sensibilidad de búsqueda automática de emisoras (ver
4.1.Búsqueda de emisoras), mantener pulsadas las teclas 1 a 3 (1=mínima,
3=máxima) durante 5”. Mientras la tecla se mantenga pulsada, el indicador luminoso
estará en color ROJO. Una señal acústica BIP indicará la correcta grabación del nuevo
valor de sensibilidad.
