Raptor DL–Lite
2560 x 1600 Color Video Graphics Adapter
for the Apple 30 inch Cinema HD Display
The Tech Source Raptor DL-Lite is a
single slot PCI card that is specially
designed and fine tuned for the Apple 30
inch Cinema HD Display. This high per-
formance graphics card along with the 30
inch display provide an entry-level, yet,
high resolution (2560x1600) alternative to
the standard 2Kx2K ATC displays at a
lower price point.
The Raptor DL-Lite enables support for
the Apple 30 inch display on a variety of
UNIX platforms that include Solaris,
Tru64 UNIX, HP-UX, AIX and Linux.
This graphics card is based on the same
technology as the higher end Raptor
ATC cards such as Raptor 2100T and
Raptor 2500T. It has the ability to im-
plement overlays by several methods in-
cluding MOX. Specialized layering hard-
ware allows complete control of up to 32
independently addressable overlays with
dynamic layer priority adjustment. Each
individual layer can support both trans-
parency and translucency (blending).
The Raptor DL-Lite card can be config-
ured in the 24-bit mode or 8+24-bit
mode to support other high resolution
applications that require more than 2048
colors.
