GENERAL WARRANTY CONDITION
Th warranty is valid for two y ars, starting to run from th dat of d liv ry and is strictly
limit d, at th sol build r’s discr tion, to th fr r plac m nt of r pair of any parts which
hav b n r cogniz d as b ing d f ctiv by its t chnical d partm nts.
No ind mnity whatso v r shall b paid in conn ction th r to. How v r by d rogation at
what is said abov :
Th warranty is limit d to on y ar with r sp ct to:
•boats b ing us d for prof ssional purpos s, including but not limit d to
chart r, sailing schools, fishing or workboats,
•boats built for comp tition sp cifically wh n quipp d and/or conc iv d for
racing,
•on -d sign boats,
•parts that rapidly d t riorat du to w ar and t ar, including but not limit d
to sails, running rigging batt ri s, xt rnal d corations, cushions, hull bottom
prot ction…,
Parts or acc ssori s visibly b aring th trad mark of anoth r suppli r only
b n fit from th warranty provid d by that suppli r.
Th costs of transporting th boat or any d f ctiv part as w ll as any additional r lat d
costs du to th impossibility of using th boat and/or its quipm nt ar to b born
xclusiv ly by th purchas r.
This warranty is only valid aft r stablishing and s nding of all b llow docum nts to ELAN QA
and AS D pt., according to th conditions sp cifi d on ach of th m
hand ov r and commissioning c rtificat ,

Cost r lat d to handling, transportation, standing, sailing for d liv ry, tc… with r gards to
th s hand ov r and control ar to b born xclusiv ly by th purchas r.
Th application of this warranty prolongs th warranty p riod for th sol part or acc ssory
thus r pair d or xchang d, during a p riod qual to th n c ssary tim to p rform th
warranty work only, provid d that said work n c ssitat s at l ast 7 cons cutiv days of
labour to b p rform d.

•an accid nt or disast r such as xplosion, fir , storm, lightning,

th boat must pr s nt its c rtificat of origin and notify his distributor / s ll r of any
d f ct(s) in writing. Notification must b d tail d and pr cis and mad within 15 days from
th day th d f ct discov r d. Upon r c ipt of notic from th purchas r / us r, th
distributor / s ll r shall th n hav 8 days to notify th build r. His failur to notify th
build r within 8 days shall r sult in his liability for th cons qu nc s of his d lay.

HULL DECK WARRANTY
Th warranty is valid for 5 y ars against any manufacturing d f ct which is r cogniz d as
such by th build r’s t chnical d partm nts, and starts to run from th day th boat is put
into us or upon th last day of its mod l y ar at th lat st, that is on August 31 of said y ar.
How v r, th warranty is limit d to on y ar aft r dat of first handov r for boats:
•b ing us d for prof ssional purpos s, including but not limit d to chart r,
sailing schools, fishing or workboats,
•boats built for comp tition sp cifically wh n quipp d and/or conc iv d for
racing,
•of on -d sign natur .
Th warranty is strictly limit d to th fr r pair of abov -m ntion d manufacturing d f cts,
ith r in th build r’s yards or by a r pair shop or shipyard chos n by th build r. No
ind mnity whatso v r shall b paid in this r sp ct.
Any v nt which aff cts th structur of th boat and which is not th r sult of a
manufacturing d f ct und r warranty, which may or may not hav qualifi d for a r paration
of th hull and d ck, will r sult in th imm diat canc llation of th warranty, without
pr judic .
Th costs of transportation, as w ll as th possibl costs r sulting from th loss of us of th
boat will b ntir ly born by th buy r.

3.6. WATER INTAKE DURING SAILING
If during sailing you notic wat r in th craft, stay calm and imm diat ly ch ck if all th
s acocks ar clos d and turn on th bilg pumps. Us a manual bilg pump as w ll to pump
th wat r out. Switch off th ngin and clos th ngin cooling valv . Clos th tank valv s
as w ll. Try to find out th caus of th l ak as quickly as possibl . If you fail to find out th
caus and if th wat r l v l in th craft continu s to ris , start vacuation proc dur s.
If you run aground whil sailing, op n th insp ction cov rs in th saloon floor and
imm diat ly ch ck for any l aks at th k l scr ws. Through th stowag compartm nt
ch ck th installation of th st ring wh l as w ll. In cas of a l ak, follow th dir ctions in
th pr vious paragraph and hav th sailing yacht lift d from wat r as soon as possibl .

ngin has rotating and moving parts that can b dang rous.

ngin do s not start, wait for at l ast 30 s conds b for n xt try.
Each ngin has its critical RPM which is indicat d by an incr as in ngin
vibrations. You should always avoid this sp d.

includ d in th Own r’s Manual. B for op rating th ngin , you should familiariz yours lf
with thos instructions.
Before start ng the eng ne:
•Switch on th main ngin switch.
•Ch ck and op n th ngin coolant wat r intak valv .
•Ch ck and op n th fu l supply valv on th fu l tank.
Start ng and stopp ng the eng ne:
On/Off button (1)
D pr ss th button to start or stop th syst m. Th pan l cannot b switch d off wh n
ngin is running.
Start button (4)
Wh n th button is d pr ss d th pr -h at function is activat d and th start motor
ngag d.
Mult -funct on button (2)
•Confirm th alarm. If an alarm occurs, a flashing warning symbol will b display d in
th tachom t r window and an audibl alarm will sound. Th alarm is confirm d by
d pr ssing th multi-function button. Th audibl alarm is sil nc d and th warning
symbol is lit continuously until th fault is r m di d.
•Backlighting. To switch tachom t r window backlighting on or off, d pr ss th
button for 1-5 s conds. Th backlighting can b adjust d in fiv st ps by d pr ssing
th button for l ss than 1 s cond.
•Adjust th tachom t r window contrast by holding down th button for mor than 5
s conds.
