The Elan Selfie App
Developed exclusively for Elan Selfie, the Elan Selfie app allows users to
control the flight path of the device and its camera. Users can also
download pictures and videos directly from the device and share them
instantaneously on Social Media platforms.
Get the app
The “eFly” app is available for free download on both the App Store and
Google Play.
The “eFly” app supports all versions of Android 5.0 and above and all
versions of iOS 8.0 and above.

General settings before your Elan Selfie’s first flight
·Control mode: Japanese Style & American Style (only applied to joystick
mode)
·Control sensitivity: set the speed of drone.
·Camera face me: activate so that drone face you and you can control
normally
· Clear cache: clear pre-view phones
·Check for APP updating: inform you the latest version
APP Settings
You can adjust default fly
setting before drone take-off.

· Gyro Calibration: Calibrate Elan Selfie when it cannot hover

Optimal operating conditions
Outdoors
• Do not operate under bad weather conditions (raining, snowing, wind etc).
• Do not fly device over crowded areas or motor traffic.
• Fly the Elan Selfie in plain sight, and away from obstructions or water.
• It is advisable to not operate the device from over 20 metres of distance
away.
Indoors
• The Elan Selfie uses visual positioning technology for optimal hovering
performance. For maximum stability, it is advised to fly the device over flat
and multicoloured surfaces.
• Ensure there is sufficient lighting whenever using the device indoors.
• Avoid flying the device over surfaces which absorb sound, such as rugs
or carpets.
• Visual positioning of the best height of 1.5 meters to 2 meters, for
accurate positioning flight should not be less than 0.5 meters.
Memory
There is a built-in 4GB memory card for storing photos and videos. Photos
and videos can be downloaded to your PC, Mac or smartphone using
either the USB cable provided or a Wi-Fi connection.
The USB port can be used for data transfer via a PC or a Mac
only when the Elan Selfie is switched on.

Elan Selfie supports two charging mode:
• Micro USB charging cable
• PowerBank(optional)
Elan Selfie's Micro USB port plugs into PowerBank as shown. A red
LED light indicates that the device is charging.
Charging Port
Insert the corresponding charging cable to the ElanSelfie to charge as
shown below. Please make sure use 5V adaptor.
Indicator turns red when charge and dim when fully charged.

* Attention
Use 5V qualified charger charging PowerBank. Avoid use charger with
nominal voltage above 5V.
Duration charging Elan Selfie or other electrical products, discharging LED
quenching means PowerBank fully discharged, please charge PowerBank.
* Caution!
• PowerBank use Li-Po Battery.
• Do not disassemble/reassemble PowerBank.
• Do not place PowerBank into fire or water.
• Do not charge or use PowerBank near heat concentrated region.
• Do not pierce or damage PowerBank.
• Do not charge PowerBank with High Voltage Device.
• Do not use leak, smelly, deformed PowerBank and battery.
• Do not place PowerBank in microwave or high pressure vessels.
• Do not expose PowerBank under direct sunlight.
• Do not place PowerBank where child can approach.
NOTE: The paragraph with the * is provided for the user who selected the
PowerBank configuration.

Powering the Elan Selfie on and/or off
To power on or off, push the power button as shown in the figure below
and hold for 1.5 seconds. A blue LED light and a beep sound will be
played when the device is switched on.
First flight
We highly recommend taking your first Elan Selfie flight indoors.
Emergency stop
In case of emergency, stop the Elan Selfie even in mid-flight by pressing
the button

Linking your smartphone to the Elan Selfie
Download the Elan Selfie app from the App Store or Google Play onto
your smartphone.
Once the Elan Selfie is on
1. Proceed to the Wi-Fi menu in your smartphone’s settings.
2. Select the Elan Selfie network which will appear on the screen as
“ES-More_xxxxxx”.
3. The default password for Elan Selfie is “12345678”.

1. Place the Elan Selfie in your palm, keeping it as flat and parallel to the
ground as possible (if the device is not properly levelled, an error
message might appear on the screen).
2. Following the instructions on the screen, slide your finger over the bar
that says “Slide to take off ”. This should start the Elan Selfie’s propellers,
signaling that the device is ready for take-off.
3. Gently push the Elan Selfie upwards into the air for it to take flight.
Concluding a flight: the TouchLand
The TossFly & the TouchLand
Make sure your Elan Selfie has been successfully linked to the “eFly” app
before tossing the device into flight; select one of the flight modes to check
that the Elan Selfie camera is streaming images real time to your
smartphone.

While the Elan Selfie is in mid-hover, place your palm beneath it. The Elan
Selfie will then land in your palm, stopping its propellers. Now you are
ready to download your Elan Selfie pictures and videos to your
smartphone!

3. Tapping on any command icon will have the smartphone take control of
the Elan Selfie. (notifying you with a vibration)
4. Use the following commands to move the drone in the desired position.
How to Fly
1.Select ‘Fly with Single hand’ mode and makes sure the orientation of
camera matches the orientation in setting menu so that the control not
reversed.

1.2 Tilt mode
Tap in the center and tilt the smartphone:
• to the left to move Elan Selfie to the left. (1)
• to the right to move Elan Selfie to the right. (2)
• away from yourself to move Elan Selfie away from you. (3)
• towards yourself to move Elan Selfie towards you. (4)
Sliding upward brings the device up.
Sliding downward brings the device down.
Sliding left turns the camera left.
Sliding right turns the camera right.

• G mode comands
• Pressing anywhere on the right side of the screen and tilting the
smartphone forward will move the device forward.
• Pressing anywhere on the right side of the screen and tilting the
smartphone backwards will move the device backwards.
• Pressing anywhere on the left side of the screen and tilting the
smartphone to the left will move the device to the left.

When operating under Gravity Mode, please tap and hold on the screen to
keep Gravity Mode on.

5. Use the commands to return the Elan Selfie to you.
6. Do the TOUCHLAND (pg 11).
7. Go to Home (click on the icon) to DOWNLOAD PHOTOS & VIDEOS.
• Pressing anywhere on the right side of the screen and tilting the
smartphone to the right will move the device to the right.
