Description:
This 8 Bit PIC developer boards supports most 8 bit SOIC PIC controllers. Due to the ability of the user to
hand solder the PIC onto the board, 1 board can amazingly support well over 100 different PIC controllers.
Features:
♦On board 5V regulator (max DC 12V input, 2.1mm power jack pole diameter)
♦On board reset circuit
♦External clock options: Crystal (Y1, C1, C2) option or RC (C1, R1) Oscillator option
♦ICSP header and RJ11 Options for programming
♦1 to 1 pin-out mapping between PIC and output connector (See photo for your setup)
♦Support 8 pin, 14, 18 pin, 20 pin and 28pin PIC MCU (all SOIC package and 5V voltage
rating)
♦Schmart-EZ Soldering Technology

Configuration:
See the www.schmartboard to configure the board for your PIC part number
Hand solder your PIC as per the enclosed SchmartBoard|ez instructions, solder headers and
then configure the board jumpers based on your PIC type.
