When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
• Read all instructions before using.
• This device must be grounded while using.
• Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids to avoid the danger of
short-circuiting!
• Never operate damaged appliances (incl. mains cables).
• Do not place the device on a polished wood surface for it could damage
the wood.
• Never touch the live parts.
• Only operate the device through a professionally installed socket
supplying
the correct voltage.
• Do not use extension cables.
• Never let the main cable hang loose, or remove the plug with wet hands,
or lay or hang on hot surfaces, or let it contact with oils.
• Unplug the appliance after each use or when the appliance is not in use or
before changing accessories or cleaning the appliance.
• Do not touch the metal parts or its housing while using, otherwise, it may
cause burns or scalding.
• Do not operate the device with a damaged cord or plug. If the supply cord
is damaged, it must be replaced by manufacturer, or service agent or
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be closely supervised to ensure they do not play with the
milk frother.

• Do not operate the device outdoors.
• Do not operate the device without milk in the jug.
• This is an attended appliance.
• Turn the appliance and main power off when not in use.
• Never touch the rotating parts. Risk of injury!
• By exceeding the filling capacity the jug may overflow.
• Appliance to be used only in conjunction with the basic unit provided.
• Never place and operate the device on uneven surfaces.
• Use only fire blankets to extinguish fires if the device is on fire.
• The device is not designed for commercial or industrial use--- for
household use only.
• Do not insert any objects and/or fingers into the apertures of the device.
• Before disposal, disable appliances, cut off mains cable and take them to
an official refuse site.
• This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar
applications such as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments.
– farmhouses.
– in hotels, motels and other residential type environments.
– bed and breakfast type environments.
• Avoid spillage on the connector.
• Avoid potential injury from misuse.
• There is residual heat on the heating element surface after use.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
• Unpack the box with caution. Please keep all the packaging materials until
you are satisfied with everything and make sure the device is in working
order.
• Remove all the packaging and foils and store them for later use. Check if
the device has been delivered completely and that it is in perfect order.
• Before using the appliance for the first time please clean the jug and the
accessories, as described under the chapter“Cleaning and Care”to remove
dust or production residues.
