S FETY INSTRUCTIONS
I portant
• Carefully read the instructions before operating the unit
• This appliance is for indoor use only.
• Rating: This unit ust be only connected to a 220-240 V / 50 Hz earthed outlet.
• Installation ust be in accordance with regulations of the country where the unit is used.
• If you are in any doubt about the suitability of your electrical supply have it checked and, if
necessary, odified by a qualified electrician.
• This dehu idifier has been tested and is safe to use. However, as with any electrical
appliances - use it with care.
• Disconnect the power plug fro socket before dis antling, asse bling or cleaning.
• Avoid touching any oving parts of the appliance.
• Never insert fingers, pencils or any other objects though the guard
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or ental capabilities. It is also not intended for use by those with a lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Do not leave children unsupervised with this appliance.
• Do not clean the unit by spraying it or i ersing it in water.
• Never connect the unit to an electrical outlet using an extension cord. If an outlet is not
available, one should be installed by a qualified electrician.
• Never operate this appliance if the cord, power adapter or plug is da aged. Ensure the
power cord is not stretched or exposed to sharp object/edges.
• A da aged power adapter or supply cord should be replaced by the anufacturer or a
qualified electrician in order to avoid a hazard. Never use “co patible” power supplies with
this appliance only the one supplied by the anufacturer
• Any service other than regular cleaning or filter replace ent should be perfor ed by an
authorized service representative. Failure to co ply could result in a voided warranty.
• Do not use the appliance for any other purposes than its intended use.
• Do not tilt the unit while in use. The unit is design to work only in vertical position

• Avoid restarting the dehu idifier unit unless 3 inutes have passed since being turned off.
• Never use the ains plug as a switch to start and turn off the dehu idifier. Use the provided
ON/OFF switch located on the control panel.
• Always place the unit on a dry and stable surface.
• The appliance should not be installed in laundry or wet roo s where the hu idity is higher
than 85% RH
• Do not place the unit next to heat sources (e.g. Electrical fires, fireplaces, etc.)
Energy Saving and Unit Safety Protection Tips
• Do not cover or restrict the airflow fro the outlet or inlet grills.
• For axi u perfor ance the ini u distance fro a wall or objects should be 30 c
• Keep the filters or grills of the unit clean. Under nor al conditions, filters or grills should
only need cleaning once every three weeks (approxi ately).

The MD400 dehu idifier uses co pressor free Peltier technology which akes it light and
quiet. It is perfect for s all roo s, kitchens, wardrobes, s all boats and caravans. The
MD400 is ultraportable intelligent dehu idifier and will solve unwanted hu idity issues in
such spaces preventing ould and fungus growing and bad s ells. The MD400 features and
intelligent hu idistat which is set by default to 50%RH and is adjustable in incre ents of 5%
fro 40-80% RH insuring your roo is not dried too uch and power is not wasted

Installation and Operation
After re oving the packaging aterials, there should be 2 ite s:
a. MD400 Dehu idifier
b. AC/DC Power adaptor
To re ove excess oisture fro the desired space place MD400 Dehu idifier in
preferred area.
Insert s aller end of AC/DC Power Adapter (13) into DC Power Socket (14)
Connect other end to wall power socket.
Toggle On/Off Switch (1) to on position. To turn unit off at any ti e,toggle On/Off
Switch (1) to Off position first then unplug AC/DC Power Adapter (13) or press the Off
switch on your wall socket.
Setting the desired humidity level
The MD400 Dehu idifier features an advanced hu idistat function.Dehu idifiers
without a hu idistat stay on and work until tank is full wasting energy and
over-drying. The intelligent MD400 Dehu idifier features hu idistat function,you
can set your desired relative hu idity level in the range of 40%-80%.When hu idity
level increases beyond your set level by a value of 5% the achine auto atically
turns on.When hu idity level is decrease below your set level by a value of 5% the
achine auto atically turns off.The default setting is 50% which is the ideal
hu idity for hu an habitation.
To set your desired hu idity level:
-Toggle On/ Off Switch (1) to On position
-Wait few seconds until Hu idity Level Display (4) reads current hu idity level
-Use Up/ Down hu idity selection keys (5) to select your desired hu idity
level
-Display will flash ten ti es, then revert to showing current environ ent
hu idity
W TER DR IN GE
When the water tank is full with approxi ately 1.5 litres of water collected, the unit will be
switched off auto atically and the “Yellow” LED(3) will be on.
To re ove the water tank (9), first switch off the MD400 Dehu idifier, pressing “On/Off”
button to the “Off” position. Then, re ove the water tank fro the unit by inserting two
fingers into Tank Pull-Out Handle (10) and gently pull out the tank.
Pull out plug fro Water Drainage Hole (11) and pour the water out in to a toilet or sink. Put
the water tank back into the unit reinserting the plug. To continue dehu idifying, push the
“On/Off” button to “On” position again. Device is now ready for use again.

CLE NING
Before cleaning the unit, turn off the MD400 Dehu idifier and unplug the AC plug
fro the ain socket first and observe full safety instructions. Use a piece of soft
cloth to clean the surface of the product or use a brush to wipe the dust off the grills
Inlet (6) and air outlet (7).
C UTION:
After having finished using the MD400 Dehu idifier, the user should switch the unit off by pressing
the “On/Off” button to “Off” position.
If you discontinue use for a long period store in a safe, dry place; ideally covered to avoid dust and dirt
entering the unit.
Always follow the safety instructions outlined at the beginning of the user anual.
Do not leave the power adapter connected to the socket or turn off the power to the socket if the unit
is not in use.
To prolong the life of the unit do not use for long periods of ti e without disconnecting the unit fro
the power supply.
