BEFORE USING THIS MIRROR.
WARNING!
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK OR INJURY TO PERSONS:
• ALWAYS REMOVE THE PLUG FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET BEFORE
CLEANING, AND BEFORE PUTTING ON OR TAKING OFF PARTS.
• KEEP YOUR MIRROR AWAY FROM SUNLIGHT.
REFLECTED SUNLIGHT CAN CAUSE FIRE!
• Use this mirror only for its intended use, as described in this manual. Do not use attachments
not recommended by this manufacturer.
• Use only with a bulb that is 25 watts or smaller.
• Do not use if the cord or plug appears damaged in any way. Do not use if the mirror and/or cord
has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water. If that occurs, return the mirror to a serv-
ice center for repair. IF THE MIRROR I TILL UNDER WARRANTY, return mirror to store where
purchased for replacement.
• There are cooling air vents in the mirror frame. Do not use with vents blocked. Be sure to keep
the vents from being blocked by lint, hair or small objects. Never place a towel over the vents.
• Do not drop or insert anything into the vents.
• This mirror is not for use by children or individuals with certain disabilities.
• Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not use on a soft surface such as a bed where it could tip over or the vents could be become
blocked.
• Do not place mirror where it could fall into a tub or sink. If mirror falls into water, unplug it
immediately. Do not reach into water.
• Do not use in the shower or while bathing.
• Do not use where aerosol (spray) products are in use or where oxygen is being administered.
• Do not plug any appliance into outlet in base that is over 12 amps (12V).
• Do not leave mirror unattended while switched on.
• Do not use with an extension cord.
• To disconnect, turn control to OFF position then remove plug from outlet.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• Plug cord into a standard 120 volt (standard house current) wall outlet. Do not use it in any
other electrical outlet.
CAUTION:Your lighted mirror has a polarized plug (one “blade” is wider than the other.)
For your safety, the plug will only fit into the outlet one way. If the plug does not fit easily in
your outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, do not force it, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. DO NOT USE with an extension cord.
• To turn light on/off, dial light switch on the cord to on/off position. Always turn light off
after use.
• This mirror has an additional electrical outlet in its base. Do not plug in any appliance that
is greater than 12 amps. (12V).
• Your mirror easily pivots 360 degrees to allow you to change between 1x magnification (actual
size) and 10x magnification for close-up viewing.
TO REPLACE THE INNER LIGHT BULB:
• Turn off power and unplug from wall. Allow the mirror to cool for 3 minutes before dissem-
bling the mirror casing.
• Using a small screwdriver, unscrew the 2 screws and set them aside. Gently pull apart the
front & back of the mirror frame.
• Unscrew the old bulb and replace with a new one.
• Rejoin the mirror frames and line up the screw holes. Replace the screws firmly into the mirror
frame.
CAUTION: Do not touch hot bulbs. Do not look directly at lit bulb. Use caution when
discarding burned out bulbs or parts. Never put unbroken lamps into fire, domestic incinerators
or trash compactors.
TO CLEAN YOUR MIRROR:
• Turn off power and unplug from wall. Allow the mirror to cool for 3 minutes before cleaning.
Clean the mirror and frame with a soft cloth sprayed with glass cleaner. It is not recommended
to use cleaners or solvents directly on mirror as they may damage the housing.
