Setting TheTime(Clock)
When the batteriesarefirstinstalled the buzzerwill beep twice,the displayturns‘On’and shows“12:00”.
1.)Whilethe displayshows“12:00”press the Sbutton once.The Hourdigitsbegintoflash.
2.)If you aresetting the timetoPM,press the OFF/RESETbutton once.The PMindicatorappears.If you aresetting
the timetoAM,skipthisstep and proceed toStep 3.
Repeatedlypressing the OFF/RESETbutton whilethe hourdigitsareflashing switchesthe displaybetween the
AMmode (PMindicator‘Off’)and PMmode (PMindicator‘On’)
3.)Whilethe hourdigitsareflashing enterthe correcthourbypressing the respectivenumberkeys.
Note:You mustentertwodigitsforthe hourdisplay.Forexampleifthe houris2:00 press the “0”button
firstand then the “2”button.When the desired hourappearson the displaypress the Sbutton again.The
hourdigitsstop flashing and the minutedigitsbegintoflash.
4.)Usethe numberbuttonstoenterthe correctminuteand press the Sbutton again.The minutedigitsstop flashing
and the clock beginstorun.
Setting TheTimer/RadioOperation
The 99 minutetimerallowsyou toplaythe radioforbetween 1minuteand 99 minutesand then the radiostops,the buzzeralarmsounds
for90 seconds,and the powershuts‘Off’automatically.
1.)If the displayisshowing the time,press the CLOCK/TIMERbutton oncetochange tothe Timerdisplay“00:00”.Repeatedlypressing
the CLOCK/TIMERbutton switchesthe displaybetween the Clock and Timermodes.
2.)Whilethe displayisinthe Timermode “00:00”press the appropriatenumberbuttonstoenterthe numberofminutesyou wishthe radio
toplaybeforeshutting off automatically.
Note:You can onlyenterwholeminutesfrom“1”to“99”.You cannotenterseconds.
3.)When the desired numberofminutesappearson the displaypress the STARTbutton toturnthe radio‘On’.
The RADIOONindicatorappearsinthe display.
4.)Setthe AM/FMband switchtothe desired band.
5.)Rotatethe TUNINGknob totune inthe desired station.
6.)Rotatethe VOLUMEcontroltoadjustthe volumelevel.
7.)When the timercountsdownto“00:00”the radiostops,the displaylighting comes‘On’,the electronicbuzzersoundsfor90 seconds,
and then the powershuts‘Off’automatically.
8.)Toshutthe radio‘Off’manuallyand cancelthe timeroperation,press the OFF/RESETbutton atanytime.
The radioshuts‘Off’and the timerisresetto“00:00”.Toviewcurrenttime,press the CLOCK/TIMERbutton.
AntennaInformation
AM–TheAMantenna isinside the cabinet. If AMreception isunsatisfactoryslowlyrotatethe unituntil you find the position thatprovides
the bestreception.
FM–Makesurethe externalFMwireantenna isextended toitsfull length.It maybe necessarytovarythe position and direction ofthis
antenna until you find the position thatprovidesthe bestreception.
CareAnd Maintenance
If the cabinetbecomesdustyordirtyitmaybe wiped withasoft clothslightlymoistened withamildsoap and watersolution.Donotuseany
abrasivecleanersorcleaning padstoavoidscratching the cabinet.
When the sound becomesweakordistorted,and the performancebecomesunsatisfactory,replacethe batteriesassoon aspossible.
Neverleaveweakorexhausted batteriesinthe radioforan extended period oftime.
