AQ111 Fill Kit
Instructions for filling the eye wash cartridges
1. Open the AQ111 box. Inside you will find two expiration date labels, a funnel,
and two eye wash Cartridges with a few ounces of Hydrosep in each bag.

2. On one of the box flaps you will see a perforated cut, press firmly on this
perforated area to remove the cardboard.

3. With the bag laid out on a flat, stable surface, insert the valve of the Aquarion
bag through the hole and slide it back into the thinner slot to keep the bag in
place.

4. Removed the Tamper Evidence seal, compress the white push button, and
remove the plug/cap.

5. Place the funnel in the open valve and press down gently to secure it in place.
6. Fill the bag with 3.7-4.0 gallons of potable water (14.0-15.1 L).
Note: Filling the cartridge with the correct amount of water is critical to the
system meeting the ANSI Z358.1 Standard.

7. Gently lift the bag by the fill port to allow any air bubbles to escape.
8. Replace the cap in the port; it will be secure when the cap clicks into place.
9. Write the date filled on the Aquarion label provided and place it on the bag.
Note: If at any time the system is activated, the entire cartridge must be
replaced as this is a onetime use cartridge.
