If you decide to discontinue High Definition or Television service with Endeavor Communications, you
must return the following pieces of equipment, which remain the property of Endeavor Communications.
If you are unable to return any item, you will be billed for the corresponding charge.

Know your Equipment
To Complete this Installation you will need:
High Definition (HD) compatible TV.
Option 1
OR
Option 2
HD compatible set top box. (Provided by Endeavor)
Component Cable. (Provided by Endeavor)
A/V Input Cable. (Provided by Endeavor)
HDMI Cable. (Optional)
HD compatible televisions are available at any store carrying electronics. The price typically ranges
from $300 - $2,700. Some of the most common brands are Samsung, Visio, LG, Sony, etc. A minimum
resolution of 720p is required.
A High Definition Multimedia Interface or HDMI cable is an audio/video input cable used to
transmit uncompressed digital data. HDMI cables deliver a higher quality sound and video without
compromising or losing quality due to compression or conversion of sound and video signals. However
this is optional due to the high cost of buying a cable. HDMI cable prices start at $50 onward and are
available at any electronic store.

Instructions for setting the TV resolution for HD
With the remote provided by Endeavor Communications, press the STB button.
Press the green button one time.
Press # 4 on the keypad to the set resolution at 720p.
Press # 5 on the keypad to set the resolution at 1080i.
Press the STB button.
Press the MENU button.
Go to the settings on the menu bar and press OK.
Enter your PIN#, which by default is the number 0—if you
changed the PIN#, enter your changed PIN#; then press OK.
Go to hardware settings and press OK.
(This step may take up to a minute to respond)
Go to display and press OK.
From this point you may choose the resolution of your choice
and press OK.
After choosing the resolution, you have 10 seconds to press
the OK button to change the setting.
Press the EXIT button on your remote to go back to TV
service.
You can choose from either one of the two options below to set your TV resolution in order to watch high
quality HDTV. These options are accessible or changeable by using the Endeavor TV remote.
When you set the resolution as directed above, you will see the change appear briefly on your set top box.

Instructions for Installing the HD-DVR
Set Top Box - ADB5810
Plug in the red, green, and blue component cables into the back of your TV for video signal. Connect
the other end of these cables into their color-matched ports on your set top box.
Using your remote, switch the input channel to the corresponding component channel as installed
on the back of your TV. (Component 1 or Component 2)
