The repair must be performed such that the voltage resistance of the Ex ia circuits relative to ground potential
is maintained. If required, a test can be performed with 500 Veff for 60 seconds.
The threads in the housing and on the lid must be checked.
In case of damage, the faulty part must be exchanged.

After the exchange of electronic module, the
instrument has to be enabled for measurement by
means of a basic calibration (see next page).
IMPORTANT:
Exchange of electronic module on Micropilot S FMR540
The spare part electronic module has to be up to the original type mounted in the instrument. The electronic module is system-specific and can not be changed.
It must be ensured that the supply voltage has been disconnected from the instrument before disassembly.
The custody locking switch can be sealed for custody transfer applications. Access to the electronics can be prevented by means of a custody locking switch
that locks the device settings. In this case, after any breaking of the seal (required for exchange of parts), the Micropilot must again be tested and sealed
by an official at commissioning!
The following tools are required for the exchange:
• Philips screw driver size 1
• flat screw driver for M3 / M4
• unplug tool for antenna plug
(order no. 5200 7646)
• eventually tweezers
Order of disassembly:
Unscrew lid from electronics compartment (4 turns)
If applicable, push up hook and remove display from holder
Loosen screw at cover and remove cover
Open custody locking switch at front panel,
eventually remove seal
Slightly push in both hooks at module housing and ...
... pull out front panel
Unplug power supply, signal cable and display
Loosen 2 mounting screws at electronics module
and pull module out of the housing
Unplug the antenna cable with unplug tool
The assembly of the components is done in reverse order.
Special attention has to be paid to the laying (groove) of the
antenna cable 9 .
