1. Sicherheitshinweise
• Bevor Sie das System anschließen und in Betrieb nehmen, lesen Sie zuerst diese Sicherheitshinweise und die
Betriebsanleitung.
• Bewahren Sie die Betriebsanleitung sorgfältig zur späteren Verwendung auf.
• Die Kameras gegen Eindringen von Wasser und Feuchtigkeit schützen,Wasser kann die Geräte dauerhaft schädigen.
Sollte dennoch Feuchtigkeit eingedrungen sein, die Kameras nie unter diesen Bedingungen einschalten, sondern
zur Überprüfung an eine autorisierte Fachwerkstatt geben.
• Das System darf nie außerhalb der technischen Daten benutzt werden, das kann die Kamera zerstören.
• Die Kamera nur in einem Temperaturbereich von -30°C bis +50°C und einer Luftfeuchtigkeit bis max. 85% be-
treiben.
• Um das System von der Versorgungsspannung zu trennen, ziehen Sie das Kabel nur am Stecker heraus.
Ziehen Sie nie direkt am Kabel.
• Verlegen Sie die Verbindungskabel sorgfältig und stellen Sie sicher, dass die Kabel nicht mechanisch beansprucht,
geknickt oder beschädigt werden und keine Feuchtigkeit eindringen kann.
• Das Gerät darf nur von qualifiziertem Servicepersonal geöffnet werden. Fremdeingriffe beenden jeden Garantie-
anspruch.
• Die Kamera darf nie mit geöffneter Blende gegen die Sonne gerichtet werden (Zerstörung des Sensors).
• Montage, Wartung und Reparaturen dürfen nur von autorisiertem Fachpersonal ausgeführt werden.
Vor Öffnen des Gehäuses ist eine Netztrennung erforderlich.
• Der Errichter ist für die Aufrechterhaltung der Schutzart lt. Techn. Daten verantwortlich, z.B. durch Abdichtung des
Kabelaustritts mit Silikon.
• Falls Funktionsstörungen auftreten, benachrichtigen Sie bitte Ihren Lieferanten.
• Verwenden Sie nur Originalersatzteile und Original-Zubehör von Videor E. Hartig GmbH.
• Die Kameras haben eine AGC - Regelung, die die Lichtempfindlichkeit bei dunkleren Szenen automatisch erhöht.
Das Bild kann dadurch körnig wirken, was aber kein Fehler ist.
• Bei Aufnahmen von sehr hellen Objekten (z. B. Lampen), sind im Monitorbild eventuell senkrechte Streifen zu
sehen (Smear-Effekt), oder die Ränder werden unscharf (Blooming).
Dies tritt vor allem beim automatischen Shutterbetrieb (ESC) auf. Dies ist ein Merkmal des CCD - Bildwandlers und
kein technischer Fehler.
• Legen Sie einen Silicagel-Beutel (im Lieferumfang enthalten) in das Kameragehäuse, um Feuchtigkeitsbildung
(bedingt durch den Temperaturunterschied innerhalb und außerhalb des Gehäuses) zu verhindern.
• Zur Reinigung der Gehäuse immer nur ein mildes Haushaltsmittel verwenden.
Niemals Verdünner oder Benzin benutzen, dies kann die Oberfläche dauerhaft schädigen.
• Bei der Montage muss grundsätzlich darauf geachtet werden, dass vorhandene Dichtungen ordnungs-
gemäß eingesetzt und bei der Montage nicht verschoben werden.
Beschädigte Dichtungen dürfen nicht mehr verbaut werden.
ACHTUNG: Die Befestigungsschrauben (10) dürfen erst dann vollständig festgezogen werden, wenn die
exakte Position der Kamera justiert ist.
Wird das Kameragehäuse auf dem Montagearm bewegt, nachdem die Befestigungsschrauben fest
sind, kann Undichtigkeit im Gehäuse entstehen.
HINWEIS: Dies ist ein Gerät der Klasse A. Dieses Gerät kann im Wohnbereich Funktionsstörungen
verursachen; in diesem Fall kann vom Betreiber verlangt werden, angemessene Maßnahmen
durchzuführen und dafür aufzukommen.

*): Der Flimmerfrei-Modus ist nützlich in Gebieten mit einer Netzfrequenz von 50Hz und der TV-Norm NTSC
wie in Japan, oder wenn die Netzfrequenz 60Hz beträgt und die TV-Norm PAL verwendet wird. In diesen
Fällen wird bei Leuchtstoffröhren-Beleuchtung das Flimmern verringert.
Wenn FL auf EIN geschaltet ist, wird die Empfindlichkeit bei geringer Beleuchtung um etwa 30% verringert.

5. Installationsanweisungen
• Stellen Sie vor der Installation sicher, dass die Stromzufuhr abgestellt ist.
5.1 Spannungsversorgungsanschlüsse
Die Kamera kann nur mit 12VDC betrieben werden.

5.2 Montage
5.2.1 Wandmontage
1) Die drei Halsbefestigungsschrauben (10) etwas (aber nicht vollständig) lösen, so dass der Kamerakörper
beweglich ist.
2) Die Montageplatte (12) mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben an Wand oder Decke befestigen.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Kabel sicher verlegt ist und nicht von der Montageplatte (12) beschädigt
werden kann (siehe Aussparung).
3) Entfernen Sie den Gehäusekörper (1) durch Lösen der beiden Rückwandschrauben (8) und legen Sie ihn an
einem sicheren Ort bereit.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass weder Staub noch Flüssigkeit in das Innere des Gehäusekörpers (1) eindringen
kann.
4) Stellen Sie die Kamerarichtung grob ein, und befestigen Sie die drei Halsbefestigungsschrauben (10).
5) Schalten Sie die Stromzufuhr zur Kamera ein.
6) Stellen Sie Zoom (d) und Fokus (c) (s. 5.3) ein.
Sichern Sie nach der Einstellung von Zoom und Fokus die beiden Knöpfe (d) und (c).
7) Stellen Sie die Parameter mit dem Funktionsschalter ein.
8) Unterbrechen Sie die Stromzufuhr wieder.

9) Wiederholen Sie Schritt 1). Dieser Schritt dient der Vorbereitung für eine leichte Montage in Schritt 10).
10) Ersetzen Sie den im Kameragehäuse liegenden Silicagel-Beutel durch einen neuen, nachdem Sie die
Kamera eingestellt haben.
11) Montieren Sie den Gehäusekörper (1) an der Rückwand, indem Sie die beiden Rückwandschrauben (8) festziehen.
Beim Festziehen der beiden Rückwandschrauben (8) nicht zuerst die eine und dann die andere festziehen –
beide Schrauben müssen wechselweise nach und nach festgezogen werden.
12) Stellen Sie die Kamera genau ein, bevor Sie sie endgültig sichern, und ziehen Sie die drei Halsbefestigungs-
schrauben vollständig fest (10).
5.2.2 Deckenmontage
Die Kamera steht jetzt auf dem Kopf, d.h. das Modul und das Gehäuse müssen um 180° gedreht werden.
Die Anpassung für Deckenmontage erfolgt bei Videor.
Bitte bei Bestellung angeben wenn, anstelle an der Wand, eine hängende Montage erfolgen soll.
5.2.3 HINWEIS - Silicagel-Beutel
Da es sich nicht immer vermeiden lässt, dass in gewissem Maße Feuchtigkeit in dem geöffneten Gehäuse zurück-
bleibt, empfehlen wir in solchen Fällen die Verwendung des beiliegenden Silicagel-Beutels. Wobei darauf zu achten
ist, dass auch dieser sachgerecht verwandt wird. D.h. ein zu frühes Öffnen der Schutzfolie kann zum Vollsaugen des
Silicagels in sehr kurzer Zeit führen, und es damit wirkungslos machen.
1. Bitte vor dem Einlegen des Silicagelbeutels die Aluschutzhülle um den Beutel entfernen, denn nur ohne Aluschutz-
hülle kann das Silicagel seine Wirkung entfalten.
2. Den Beutel zwischen Gehäuserückteil und Kameraträger einlegen.
3. Das Silicagel speichert die Restfeuchtigkeit, die während der Montage im feuchten Klima in das Gehäuse gelangt ist.
5.3 Einstellung des Bildausschnitts
Fokus und Brennweite sollten nur von autorisierten Personen eingestellt werden.
• Gehäuse abziehen.
• Kamera einschalten (Spannungsversorgung) und Monitor anschließen.
• Durch Lösen des Zoomhebels (d) (s. S. 6) und Verdrehen des Rings verändert sich die Brennweite des Objektivs
und damit der Bildausschnitt.
• Die Scharfstellung (Fokussierung) erfolgt über den Fokushebel (c).
• Nach beendeter Einstellung beide Hebel (c) + (d) wieder festziehen und das Gehäuse schließen.
HINWEIS: Für eine möglichst exakte Fokuseinstellung bei Kameras im Außenbereich empfiehlt es sich,
einen ND (Neutral Density)-Filter während des oben beschriebenen Einstellvorgangs vor das
Objektiv zu halten. Dadurch öffnet sich die Blende im Objektiv und ermöglicht so die Einstellung
einer von wechselnden Umgebungslichtbedingungen unabhängigeren Bildschärfe.

1. Safety Instructions
• Read these safety instructions and the operation manual first before you install and commission the camera.
• Keep the manual in a safe place for later reference.
• Protect your camera from contamination with water and humidity to prevent it from permanent damage.
Never switch the camera on when it gets wet. Have it checked at an authorized service center in this case.
• Never operate the camera outside of the specifications as this may prevent the camera functioning.
• Do not operate the cameras beyond their specified temperature, humidity or power ratings.
Operate the camera only at a temperature range of -30°C to +50°C and at a humidity of max. 85%.
• To disconnect the power cord of the unit, pull it out by the plug. Never pull the cord itself.
• Pay attention when laying the connection cable and observe that the cable is not subject to heavy loads, kinks, or
damage and no moisture can get in.
• The warranty becomes void if repairs are undertaken by unauthorized persons. Do not open the camera housing.
• Never point the camera towards the sun with the aperture open. This can destroy the sensor.
• Installation, maintenance and repair have to be carried out only by authorized service centers.
Before opening the cover disconnect the unit from mains input.
• The fitter is responsible for the system of protection being followed in accordance with the technical data, e.g. by
sealing of the cable outlet with silicone.
• Contact your local dealer in case of malfunction.
• Only use original parts and original accessories from Videor E. Hartig GmbH.
• The camera is equipped with an automatic gain control (AGC) which increases the sensitivity at low light levels.
Noisy pictures at these conditions are quite normal.
• Pictures including bright spotlights will cause perhaps vertical lines (smear) or soft edges (blooming) on the
monitor display. This happens most probably in automatic shutter mode (ESC).
This is not a defect but an effect caused by the CCD sensor.
• Be sure to put a silica-gel bag into the housing to avoid humidity due to temperature variance between inner and
outside of housing
• Do not use strong or abrasive detergents when cleaning the dome. Use a dry cloth to clean the dome surface.
In case the dirt is hard to remove, use a mild detergent and wipe gently.
• During assembly, care must be taken to ensure that existing seals are correctly inserted and are not

5. Installation Instructions
• Make sure the power is removed before installation.
5.1 Power Supply Connections
Camera can be operated with 12VDC only.
DC plug for all 12VDC cameras
5.2 Mounting
5.2.1 Installation on Wall
1) Loosen three neck fastening screws (10) a little (but not completely) so that camera body can move.
2) Secure the mount base (12) with screws supplied to the wall or ceiling.
Make sure that the cable is routed safely not to be damaged by the mount base (12) (see gap).
3) Separate the housing body (1) by loosening two rear cover screws (8) and place it at a safe area.
Make sure that the inside of the housing body (1) should not be contaminated by dust or liquid.
4) Set the camera direction roughly and fasten three neck fastening screws (10).
5) Apply the power to the camera.
6) Set the zoom (d) and focus (c) (see 5.3).
After setting zoom and focus, secure the knobs (d) and (c).
7) Adjust the parameters by using DIP switch setting.
8) Remove the power again.
9) Repeat step 1).
This step is a preparation for an easy assembling for step 10).

10) Replace the existing silica-gel bag with new one after setting camera control parameters.
11) Assemble the housing body (1) to the rear cover by tighten two rear cover screws (8).
When securing two rear cover screws (8), do not complete one at a time and another next.
Both screws are recommended to be tightened evenly a little at a time in turn.
12) Trim the camera before the final secure and completely tighten three neck fastening screws (10).
5.2.2 Installation on Ceiling
The camera is now upside down, i.e. the module and housing must be turned 180°.
For ceiling installation please contact Videor in advance. They will modify the camera before shipping.
5.2.3 NOTE - Silicagel bag
As it is not always possible to avoid a situation where a certain amount of moisture remains in the opened casing, we
recommend using the enclosed bag of silicagel in such cases. It must be ensured that the gel is used appropriately,
i.e. opening the protective film too soon can lead to the silicagel becoming saturated in a very short period of time,
thereby making it ineffective.
1. Before inserting the silicagel pack, please remove the aluminium protective sleeve around the pack, as the
silica gel is only effective without the aluminum protective sleeve.
2. Insert the pack between the back of the casing and the camera holder.
3. The silica gel retains the residual moisture that accumulated in the casing during assembly in a moist climate.
5.3 Setup of the Image Sector
Focus and focal length should be adjusted only by authorized persons.
• Pull off the camera housing.
• Power up the camera and connect a monitor.
• Open the zoom handle (d) (see page 18). Turn the ring to adjust the zoom setting.
• Focus is adjusted by turning the focus handle (c).
• Tighten both handles (c) + (d) when adjustment is done. Close the housing.
NOTE: For a precise adjustment of cameras installed outside it is recommended to place a ND (Neutral
Density) filter in front of the lens while settings are done. This opens up the iris and allows a setting
which is constant at changing light conditions due to the narrower depth of field.
