Security
Read the safety instructions and the operating instructions carefully before installing the
product� Depending on the product type, individual points may be omitted�
• Ensure that the intended mounting location is suitable for the respective product (e�g� in terms of weight)�
• Securely fasten the products to the locations and surfaces recommended by the manufacturer to ensure
stability and safety�
• Ensure that the products are weatherproof when installed outdoors, e�g� protect cameras from direct sunlight or
extreme temperatures�
• Make sure that any ventilation slots are not blocked to ensure sucient air circulation and cooling�
• Make sure that cameras, switches, etc� are installed with sucient safety distance to ammable materials, power
sources, running water, etc�
• Assembly, commissioning and maintenance may only be carried out by authorized specialist personnel in
compliance with the relevant standards and guidelines�
• To ensure a safe power supply, use only power supplies and cables recommended by the manufacturer�
• Make sure that the cables are properly routed and protected from tampering and damage (e�g� kinking) to avoid
power failures or short circuits (e�g� due to moisture ingress)�
• Make sure that the cables are not routed through doors, windows or other moving parts to avoid damage and
tripping hazards�
• To disconnect the system from the power supply, pull the cable only by the plug and never directly by the cable�
• When shortening exible connection cables, use wire end ferrules�
• Use strong passwords for all cameras and devices to prevent unauthorized access�
• Keep device rmware up to date to minimize security vulnerabilities�
• Protect (remote) access to the devices using secure methods such as encrypted connections or VPN�

• The devices may only be operated within the temperature and humidity ranges specied in the data sheet�
• Sucient ventilation must be provided to prevent overheating� This applies in particular to devices such as
recorders and switches that can generate heat�
• Ensure that no sight lines are blocked and that accessories do not obscure areas used by other equipment or
people�
• Ensure cameras are oriented to provide a clear view of the desired area without interfering with people’s privacy
• Clean the lenses and housings of the cameras regularly to ensure a clear view�
• Keep the ventilation slots clean and free of dust to ensure ecient cooling�
• Use a mild detergent for cleaning� Harsh cleaning agents such as thinner or benzine may permanently damage
the surface�
• Check the product regularly for damage and signs of wear�
• Only use original spare parts (e�g� connection cable) or accessories from VIDEOR E� Hartig GmbH�
• Any tampering by unauthorized persons will void the warranty�
• Before opening the housing, disconnect the power supply�
• Draw the attention of visitors to the fact that they are being recorded by means of clearly visible notices�
• If necessary, point out rules of conduct�
• Ensure that cameras are oriented in such a way that privacy is not violated, e�g�, by recording neighbours or
public areas�
• Comply with local laws and regulations on video surveillance and data protection (GDPR)�

INSTALLATION
Connection cable
To operate the network camera, it is necessary to connect a network cable for data
transmission and a power connection from the power supply unit� Depending on the
operating mode, it is possible to additionally connect an alarm cable� For mounting in
dierent locations, please contact an installer�

1 RJ-45
Ethernet, RJ 45 connector compatible with 10/100Mbps PoE Modular Jack�
Connect a standard RJ 45 cable to the network port of the network camera� Usually a cross-over
cable is used for direct connection to a PC, while a direct cable is used for connection to a hub�
You can also use a router with PoE (Power over Ethernet) to supply power to the camera��
2 DC Jack
Main power supply, DC socket, DC12V
Connect the 12VDC power supply for the network camera� Connect the positive (+) terminal
to the + position and the negative (--) terminal to the -- position for the DC power supply�
When connecting the power cable, be careful not to reverse the polarity�
• A router with PoE (Power over Ethernet) can also be used to power the camera�
• For power supply specications, see the Appendix, Product Specication�
• When both PoE and 12 VDC are applied, the camera is powered by the higher voltage,

3 Alarms
Alarm input and output, 3-pole terminal
• AI: Alarm Input
You can use external devices to signal the network camera to respond to events� Mechanical or
electrical switches can be connected to the KI (Alarm In) and G (Ground) terminals�
• G: GND
Connect the ground side of the alarm input and/or alarm output to the G (Ground) terminal�
• AO: Alarm Output
The network camera can activate external devices such as buzzers or lights� Connect the device
to the AO (Alarm Out) and G (Ground) terminals�

Camera overview
When performing a Factory Reset, you will lose any settings that havebeen saved�
(Default IP: 192�168�30�220)
CAUTION:
The camera is equipped with a u-SD memory slot for recording videos and a button for
resetting the camera to factory settings�

1 Reset Button
Follow the instructions below to reset the network camera to the factory default settings
using the reset button�
1� Switch o the network camera by unplugging the power adapter�
2� Press and hold the reset button with a bent paper clip while switching the camera back on�
3� Press and hold the reset button for about 5 or more seconds� Release the reset button�
4� The network camera resets to the factory settings and restarts after the factory reset is
complete�

NETWORK CONNECTION & IP ASSIGNMENT
The eneo Site Manager (downloadable from www�eneo-security�com) is used to locate all
eneo network cameras in a local network�
Download the software from www.eneo-security.com and install it�
Start the programme� You will get a list of the available cameras in the local network�
Select your camera in the list and open a context menu with a click on the right mouse
button� Select the option Network settings to get a window for the IP settings of the camera�
If necessary, deactivate the check mark for DHCP� Make the necessary settings and conrm
with OK� The camera settings are updated�
You can now also perform a factory reset of the camera within the eneo Site Manager�

Sicherheit
Lesen Sie die Sicherheitshinweise und die Bedienungsanleitung vor der Installation des
Produkts sorgfältig durch� Je nach Produkttyp können einzelne Punkte entfallen�
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der vorgesehene Montageort für das jeweilige Produkt geeignet ist (z�B� hinsichtlich
Gewicht)�
• Befestigen Sie die Produkte sicher an den vom Hersteller empfohlenen Stellen und Oberächen, um Stabilität
und Sicherheit zu gewährleisten�
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Produkte witterungsbeständig sind, wenn sie im Freien installiert werden, und
schützen Sie z�B� Kameras vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung oder extremen Temperaturen�
