Introduction
Thank you for your trust in our company and for buying your new Music Box 9. We hope you enjoy it.
This portable speaker allows you enjoy your music like never before via Bluetooth, USB, microSD or FM Radio. It
also features TWS (True Wireless System) function to synchronize two speakers and create your own stereo
system. By doing so you will get twice as much power.
Before you start using your Music Box 9 we strongly recommend to read this manual in order to get used to it.
Care and maintenance
Do not expose your Music Box 9 to humidity or heat.
Do not use neither corrosive nor abrasive cleaning products.
Do not disassemble the device. All reparation works should be carried out exclusively by qualified staff of Energy
Sistem Technology, S.A.
Do not place your Music Box 9 on a table edge or bookshelf in order to prevent falls. The speaker may move
over the surface when used at maximum volume due to the housing vibration.
Turn off your Music Box 9 when you are not using it and do not let it completely discharged for a long time.

Main functions
Switching on and off the device
Press and hold the On/ Off button (1) for 2 seconds to turn on your device and you will see that the buttons light up.
When switching on the device, you will hear a confirmation sound. The On/ Off button (1) will glow while the device is
on.
Press and hold the On/ Off button (1) for 2 seconds to turn off your device. You will hear a confirmation sound and the
buttons will stop glowing.
Charging the battery
The On/ Off button will light up red whenever the battery charge is below 10%. When the battery level is below 5%, the
button light will start flashing and you will hear a warning sound from time to time. Please connect the cable of the
provided power adapter to the Charging port (7) of your Music 9. Plug then the power adapter into the power socket.
The Charge indicator (12) will light up red and will switch off once the charging process has been completed. The
charging time is approximately 2 and a half hours.
Warning:
Only use the provided 12 V 1.5 A DC power adapter.
Do not leave your Music Box 9 completely discharged for a long time.
Bluetooth pairing
Use the Change function button (14) to select the Bluetooth mode while your Music Box 9 is on. Once you have done

this, press and hold the same button for 2 seconds until the "BT" LED function indicator (15) starts flashing. At this
point, your speaker and your smartphone or tablet can be paired.
Once "Music Box 9" appears on your device screen, press "connect". The devices will be connected immediately and
without codes. You will hear a confirmation sound when both devices are synchronized and the "BT" LED function
indicator (15) will stop flashing and will glow as usual. Your Music Box 9 will be automatically paired when you turn it on
once again, provided that the Bluetooth connection of your smartphone or tablet is enabled.
Press and hold the Change function (14) button until the "BT" LED function indicator (15) starts flashing in order to pair
another device. You will also hear a confirmation sound. By doing so, the current synchronization will stop and the
speaker will start a new search of Bluetooth® devices.
Important: Your Music Box 9 will automatically turn off after 5 minutes if it is in Bluetooth mode and not synchronized
with any device.
TWS (True Wireless Stereo) function
This option enables to connect another Music Box 9 wirelessly within a distance range of 10 m to hear music with twice
as much power and to create a stereo sound system made up of two different channels: left and right.
Switch on both Music Box 9 and select Bluetooth mode, press the TWS connection button (13) of each speaker and you
will see that the TWS indicators start blinking. Once both devices have been connected correctly, you will hear another
confirmation sound and the TWS indicators will stop blinking. From that moment on, they will play the same content
simultaneously. Press and hold once again the TWS connection button (13) of the secondary speaker for a few seconds
to disable TWS connection.
Use the master speaker to control playback functions while True Wireless mode is enabled. The secondary speaker will
only allow you to adjust the volume. If you adjust any of the functions, the changes will always apply to both speakers.
This means that if you turn up the volume of any of the speakers, you will be turning up the volume of both of them.
Important: In disable the TWS connection, you have to press the TWS connection button (13) of the speaker that
shows that the Bluetooth Function Indicator (15) is on.
Playback control
Once your Music Box 9 is in playback mode, you will be able to control playback functions from the speaker itself. Press
Volume + (3) or Volume - (2), Next (6) or Back (4) and Play/ Pause and Call control (5) to perform different playback
actions. You will hear a warning sound when reaching the maximum and minimum volume levels.
To start, pause or resume playback, press the Play/ Pause and Call control button (5).
To move to the previous or the following track, press Next (6) or Back (6).
Press the Volume + (3) or Volume - (2) buttons to turn up or down playback volume.
Note: Bear in mind that you will only be able to control playback from the music player while the speaker is in AUX
mode.

Call control
Synchronizing your Music Box 9 with your smartphone allows you to control your calls from the speaker.
When receiving a call, the song you are listening to will stop and the ringing tone will sound instead. Press the Play/
Pause and Call control button (5) to answer an incoming call and press it once again to hang up. The song will
automatically resume afterwards.
Press and hold the Play/ Pause and Call control button (5) when receiving an incoming call to reject it. Press and hold
the Play/ Pause and Call control button (5) while Bluetooth mode is enabled to redial telephone numbers.
If you receive an incoming call while TWS function is enabled, playback will pause and you will only be able to hear the
voice of the person who calls through the master speaker.

Audio input
You can also enjoy music playback on your Music Box 9 by connecting your music player to the Audio-In (8) by means of
the provided audio cable with 3.5 mm jack connector. This mode appears on one side and is indicated as "AUX".
NOTE: It is not possible to control music playback from the speaker while you are using this mode. In order to control
playback functions you will have to use the music player that you have connected.
FM radio function
In order to use the FM radio function, it is necessary that you first carry out a search of all stations available. The radio
stations will be saved to the speaker internal memory. Therefore it is not necessary to carry out a new search each time
you switch it on. You will only have to carry out a new search if you place the device in a new location or if you change
the frequency of the saved radio station.
In order to carry out a search of all radio stations, press the Change function (14) button until the FM mode appears on
screen. The "FM" LED function indicator (15) will light up when the radio funtion is selected. Press and hold the Change
function button (14) for 2 seconds. The "FM" LED function indicator (15) will flash while carrying out the search. Once
the process is completed, the LED will glow as usual. The process can take a few minutes.
You can use the provided audio cable with jack connector as an antenna cable to improve the signal. In order to do so,
connect the above mentioned cable to the AUX port, return to FM mode and carry out a new seach of radio stations
following the steps that have been explained before.
Press and hold Next (6) or Back (4) to select the radio station that you prefer. Radio stations will appear in the order in
which they were saved. Press Next (6) or Back (4) to tune the selected frequency.
Note: The power adapter used to charge the device may interfere with the FM radio signal. We recommend to maintain
a distance of 50 cm between the power adapter and the speaker if FM radio function is enabled and you are charging
the battery simultaneously.
External storage
Insert an external USB stick or a microSD card into the corresponding slots, (9) and (10), to play MP3 or WAV files. The
Music Box 9 will enable this playback mode automatically. Music playback will start in a few seconds once the external
storage unit has been read. Do not remove the storage unit while the reading process is in progress.
If you turn off the Music Box 9 while the device is playing the files of the external storage unit, the internal memory will
save the moment when you paused playback. If you insert the same removable card or stick once again, playback will
resume from the point at which it stopped.
To move to the previous or the following track, press Next (6) or Back (4). You can also move to the next folder of your
microSD card / USB stick. To do so, press and hold the Change function (14) button for a few seconds.
Press and hold Next (6) or Back (4) while the device is playing a song to fast forward through it or to rewind it. Playback
will resume when you release the button.
Important: We recommend not to remove the external storage unit while the reading process is in progress. Before
doing that, please change mode or turn off the speaker.
Playback type (Continuous or Random)
If you use the external USB memory or the microSD card, press and hold the Start / Pause and Call Control button (5) for
2 seconds to choose the type of playback you prefer, Continuous or Random playback.
In Random playback, the function indicator LED (15) will blink and in Continuous playback it will remain fixed.

The battery life of your Music Box 9 depends on the the type of music and the selected volume level. Please take a look
