Thank you for your trust in our company and for buying the new Smart Speaker 7 Tower. We hope you enjoy it.
This sound tower with Amazon Alexa lets you interact with your assistant using your voice. Ask Alexa for the latest news
or the weather forecast, ask her to switch on the music and much more. You can also listen to music throughout your
house thanks to its 40 W power and Multiroom system, which allows to create audio systems consisting of speakers and
other compatible devices via Wi-Fi connection. It also features a Bluetooth connection, USB and microSD MP3 player as
well as an audio-in for 3.5 mm jack.
Care and maintenance
Do not expose your Smart Speaker 7 Tower to impacts, dust, humidity or high temperatures.
Do not use neither corrosive nor abrasive cleaning products.
Do not dismantle the device. All reparation works should be carried out exclusively by qualified staff of Energy
Sistem Technology, S.A.

Switching on and off the device
Once the power cable has been connected to the back of the tower (14), connect the plug to the socket and move the
Power switch (13) to the ON position. From that moment on, you can turn it on or off by pressing the On/ Off button (6)
on the top panel or on the remote control for 2 seconds.
Initial setup
Before using the speaker, you need to download the Multiroom Wi-Fi app to your device. If you have an Android device,
download the app from Google Play. If you have an iOS device, you can get it from the App Store. With this app you can
set up and manage all compatible Wi-Fi speakers.
Turn on the speaker and wait until setup mode is enabled (you will hear a confirmation message). If you do not hear this
message, press and hold the Change Function (5) button for 2 seconds to enable it.
Open the app and select ?Add device? on the lower part of the screen to start the setup. If you have already added a
speaker, you can add another one by pressing the + symbol at the top of the screen.

Select the model of your device from the drop-down menu and press ?Connect Speaker?. Access the Wi-Fi settings on
your smartphone or tablet and connect to the speaker?s network. The network will be called Smart Speaker_XXXX. Once
connected, return to the app to continue.

NOTE: If your device works with Android 7.0 or higher, you may receive a notification to enable the Wi-Fi connection at
this point. If you do not accept it, the setup may fail.
Once the speaker has been detected, you have to choose the Wi-Fi network you want to connect to and enter the
password. After pressing ?Continue?, the app will set up the device. It will display a message once the process has been
completed.

After this, you only have to give your speaker a name and set up an Amazon account. To do this, log in with your
Amazon username and password, and choose the language you want for your interactions with Alexa.
NOTE: This final step is optional. You will only need to do this if you want to interact with Alexa. The other device
functions can be used without logging in to Amazon.
Amazon Alexa
Once the initial setup has been completed, you will be able to interact with Alexa by pressing the corresponding button
on the top panel or remote control (8). Ask a question or make a request while the lights on the device top panel glow

cyan . Alexa will answer you automatically once you've finished talking.
To customize your Amazon Alexa experience and add Skills to enjoy more options, you'll need the Amazon Alexa app for
Android or iOS. You can also access it through your web browser: alexa.amazon.com.
Change function
Press the Change function button (5) to choose between the available functions. The colour of the LED indicator (1)
shows the enabled mode.
In case that there are no units connected to the rear inputs (USB, MicroSD or 3.5 mm jack), the Change function button
(5) switches between Wi-Fi and Bluetooth mode. In case that all inputs are being used, this button will switch from one
to another in the following order:
Wi-Fi > Bluetooth > microSD > USB > Analogue input
Wi-Fi mode
Tranfer the music stored on your smartphone over a Wi-Fi network, use services such as Spotify or TuneIn directly on
your sound tower and play music via DLNA or AirPlay.
Press and hold the Change function button (5) for 3 seconds to connect the tower to a different Wi-Fi network or press
the very same button for 10 seconds to reset the device to factory settings.
Playback modes
On the main screen, scroll to the right 2 times to access the main menu. You will find four options:

Favourites
With this option you can access your previously saved songs. This list has been conceived to add and delete songs more
easily.
My music
Play the songs stored on your device. In order to make it easier, songs are sorted out into Albums and Artists.
Furthermore, you will be able to create your own playlists and access the last played tracks.
You can also access the contents of the USB sticks and microSD cards connected to your speaker and select the song
you want to hear. If you access the additional information of a certain music track, you will be able to add this song to
your favourites or to the current playlist as well as take a look at the additional information.
You can also access your DLNA servers from this section to play music over your Wi-Fi network. You will be able to play
music stored on your computer, hard drives or routers, which are compatible with this technology.
TuneIn
Use this option to enjoy a wide selection of streaming radio stations. You can listen to music from all around the world
as well as to your favourite sports programmes.
Spotify
Use your phone, tablet or computer as a remote control for Spotify. Go to spotify.com/es/connect to learn how.
Use this option or access the official Spotify app to listen to your favourite music on your Smart Speaker. Click on
"Available Devices" at the bottom to open the list of devices while the speaker is playing a song.

Stream music using AirPlay
Transfer music from your Apple devices using AirPlay. To do this, enable this feature on your Mac, iOS device, or Apple
TV, and select the Smart Speaker you want to send the content to. Remember that both devices must be connected to
the same Wi-Fi network for it to work. You can get more information here.
Transfer music from Windows 10
Access Windows settings, "Devices" and click on "Add Bluetooth or other device". Select the option "Other" and wait for
the Smart Speaker to be added to the list. Select it and wait until the connection is set up correctly.
Now you can stream your music to your speaker. To do this, select the songs you want to send from the file explorer,
open the context menu (right click) and select "Transmit to device". To finish, you just have to select your speaker from
the list.
Transfer music from Linux
Open the terminal and enter the following commands to install the pulseaudio-dlna package. It enables streaming to
other devices using the DLNA protocol:

Access your operating system's audio manager and select the Smart Speaker as audio output.
Multiroom
If you have several Energy Sistem Wi-Fi speakers, you can connect them all to the same network and create stereo
sound systems or play music separately through each speaker. To do this, first set up all your speakers pressing the +
symbol on the upper part of the Multiroom Wi-Fi app and follow the steps.
Once connected, press and hold the speaker's name and release it on the main device's name to create speaker groups
and listen to your music simultaneously.
Important: The speaker's performance in Multiroom mode, as well as the number of speakers working at the same time,
depends directly on the router, the distance to the access point, and the used transmitter. It is recommended to
connect a maximum of 10 loudspeakers in synchronized mode to ensure proper operation.
Individual Multiroom Mode
This Multiroom mode is set by default. Each speaker plays music independently. You can control each of them using the
app or interacting directly with the device. You will know that this play mode is active by looking the app. Each device
will have one separate line.

Synchronized mode
This synchronized Multiroom mode enables to play the same song on all speakers at the same time. To set this
playback mode, press and hold the name of the device you prefer and drag it to the speaker's name you want to
connect it to. Wait a few seconds and you will see that both devices are synchronized. The synchronized tracks will
appear on the app screen. This way, you will create groups comprising a main speaker and the rest of speakers.

You can assign a different channel to each speaker.
L = Left channel
R = Right channel
LR = Stereo
The synchronized mode remains active until it is disabled manually, so if you change the main speaker's playback mode
pressing the Change function button (5), for instance, to Bluetooth mode, you will be able to stream the contents via
Bluetooth to all synchronized speakers.
To enable the individual Multiroom Mode once again, you only have to select the synchronized secondary speaker and
drag it out of the group. Wait a few seconds and the process to end the synchronized mode will be completed.
Bluetooth mode
To pair your tower with a Bluetooth device, press the Change function button (5) on the top panel or remote control
until Bluetooth mode is selected. At this point, access the Bluetooth settings on your device and search for the Smart 7
Tower among the detected devices. Once selected, the connection will be established immediately and you will hear a
sound that confirms that both devices have been paired correctly.
If you want to pair your tower with another Bluetooth device, press and hold the Change function button (5) for 2
seconds to enable sync mode.
Removable USB sticks and microSD cards
Your Smart Speaker 7 Tower allows you to play MP3, WAV, WMA, FLAC and M4A files from USB sticks and microSD cards
of up to 128 GB with supported FAT/ FAT32 file system.
Plug the USB stick into the corresponding port or insert the microSD card into the corresponding slot. The device will
switch automatically to USB or microSD mode to play the content of the inserted storage card or USB stick. If you turn
off the device or remove any storage unit, the internal memory will save the moment when you paused playback. If you
connect the same removable storage unit once again, playback will resume from the point at which it stopped.
To browse songs, press Next (4) and Back (3) on the top panel for 2 seconds or press the same buttons on the remote

control once. Press Change folder (15) on the remote control or press and hold Change function (5) on the panel to
browse a different folder. Press Select repeat mode (16) on the remote control or press and hold Play/ Pause (7) on the
panel to change playback mode.
Playback mode
Press Select repeat mode (16) on the remote control or press and hold Play/ Pause (7) on the panel to select one of the
4 options below:
Repeat all: all songs stored on the internal memory are read in chronological order. This mode is enabled by
default when turning on the device.
Repeat folder: the folder with the songs you are listening to will be repeated.
Repeat one: the song you are listening to will be repeated over and over again.
Random: random playback of all internal memory contents.
Auxiliary audio input
Your Smart Speaker 7 Tower features an Audio-in for 3.5 mm jack (12) which allows you to connect your music player
using the provided 3.5 mm jack audio cable.
Once you plug the cable into this input, Line-in mode will be enabled automatically. You will be able to change function
even if the cable is still connected. To pause or resume playback use the Play/ Pause button (7) on the panel or on the
remote control.
Please take into account that you will have to use the external source device connected to your tower to control music
playback (change track, pause or adjust volume).
Changing the language
You can change the speaker's language using the Multiroom Wi-Fi app. Access the speaker's settings pressing the
Settings icon on the speaker's right upper corner:
Then, select "Speaker info" and the menu to select the speaker's language will appear. There are two languages
available: English and Spanish.

Mimimum router requirements
In order for the speakers to work via Wi-Fi correctly, the router of your private network must fulfill the following
requirements:
Use a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band. The Multiroom system is not compatible with 5 GHz Wi-Fi bands.
The selected network must use a WEP/WPA-PSK/WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK/WAPI security protocol with
WEP64/WEP128/TKIP/AES encryption.
The selected network must enable the SSID broadcast.
Considerations related to advanced router settings that can cause problems:
Assign static IP addresses.
Filter the connections by MAC adresses.
The router doesn't have access to the Internet. If you need to set up an access code from an Internet browser to
access the Internet, it won't be possible to set up the speaker and connect to these type of routers.
Network environments with high levels of noise or a low performance level between router and speaker can result in
mistakes that affect settings. Please verify that both the speaker and the router are not far away from each other and
that the Wi-Fi channel is not overflowed.
Warranty
Energy Sistem Technology, S.A. is liable for any lack of conformity that exists at the time the goods are purchased
during a period of 36 months. This warranty covers any defects in workmanship or materials and does not cover any
product failure due to accidents, misuse or alteration made by an unauthorized person. The special 36 month warranty
is valid for the European Union. For other countries please refer to your specific legislation or your local distributor.
