speaker, we strongly recommend reading this manual to get used to it.
Care and maintenance
Please take into account the following considerations to avoid product damage:
This product is splashproof. It doesn't withstand jets of water. Close the cover flap that protects the ports
properly when exposing the device to moisture.
Do not use neither corrosive nor abrasive cleaning products.
Do not disassemble the device. All repair works should be carried out exclusively by qualified staff of Energy
Sistem Technology, S.A.
Turn off the speaker when you're not using it and do not let it completely discharged for a long time.

Switching on and off the device
Press and hold On/ Off (1) for 3 seconds to turn on the device. You will see that the Function indicator (2) lights up. You
will also hear a confirmation sound when switching on the device.
Press and hold On/ Off (1) for 3 seconds to turn off your device. You will hear a confirmation sound. At this point, the
Function indicator (2) will switch off.
Charging the battery
When the battery level is below 10%, you will hear a sound to remind you to charge the battery. Plug the power adapter
into the Charging socket (11) of your Outdoor Box Beast to charge the battery and the USB cable end to any device with
a USB charging port and 5 V output. The Charge indicator (7) lights up to indicate the battery status. The battery will be
fully charged when all 4 charge indicators are on and do not blink. The charging time is approximately 3 hours.
Important:
Only use the AC/DC power adapter provided with the product.
Do not leave your Outdoor Box Beast completely discharged for a long time.
Playback modes
Press On/ Off/ Change function (1) to select the playback mode you prefer from all modes available. A voice will let you
know about the selected mode and the Function indicator (2) will change colour:
Bluetooth: Blue
FM radio: Red
USB: Cyan
microSD: Violet
Auxiliary audio input: Green
Bluetooth
Press and hold Play/ Pause (6) for 2 seconds to start the Bluetooth search. At this point, the Function indicator (2) starts
flashing blue. Access the list of available devices on your smartphone or tablet and once there, select your "Outdoor
Box". The devices will be connected without codes. Once the connection has been established, you will hear a

confirmation sound.
At this point, you will be able to start music playback on your smartphone or tablet. The Bluetooth operating range is up
to 10 metres.
Press Next (5), Back (3) and Play/ Pause (6) on the speaker to control music playback.
Your Outdoor Box will save the last paired device and will automatically pair with it when turning on the speaker once
again.
Press and hold once again Play/ Pause (6) for 2 seconds to start a new Bluetooth search and pair your speaker with a
different smartphone or tablet.
FM radio
Once FM radio mode is enabled, press and hold Play/ Pause (6) for 2 seconds to start searching for FM radio stations.
The process may take a few minutes. Once the search has been completed, press and hold Next (5) or Back (3) to
select the radio station you want to hear from all saved radio stations.
If you place the speaker somewhere else, you will have to carry out a new search to obtain a proper radio wave
reception.
Your Outdoor Box Beast saves the last selected radio station when you turn it off and on once again.
Important: Radio signal interferences may occur when charging the battery.
USB and microSD player
Play .mp3 and .wav files from your USB sticks or microSD cards (up to 64 GB). The contents play automatically a few
seconds after inserting the storage unit.
If you turn off the speaker or remove the storage unit, the internal memory will save the moment when you paused
playback. If you connect the same removable storage unit once again, music playback will resume and the last song
you listened to will be then played.
Press Next (5) or Back (3) to switch to the next or previous track.
The folders and files stored on your removable storage units will be read in chronological order.
Browsing folders
Press and hold EQ/ Change folder (4) for 2 seconds to switch to the next folder on your storage unit.
Shuffle mode
Press and hold Play/ Pause (6) for 2 seconds to enable shuffle mode. A voice will let you know this mode has been
enabled. Press and hold once again the very same button for 2 seconds to turn off shuffle mode.
Auxiliary audio input
Your Outdoor Box Beast features an Auxiliary audio input (8) to plug your external devices using the provided audio
cable with 3.5 mm mini jack plug.

Important: You won?t be able to control music playback from the speaker while using this mode. To control playback
functions you will have to use the connected music player.
Battery life
The battery life of your Outdoor Box Beast depends on the selected volume level and the selected type of music. Please
take a look at this comparative table to find out more about the approximate battery life of your device:

Reset
To force the device to shut down, press the hidden reset button located inside the Auxiliary audio input (8).
Note: Avoid using metallic objects when performing the reset.
Warranty
Warranty
Energy Sistem Technology, S.A. is liable for any lack of conformity that exists at the time the goods are purchased
during a period of 36 months. Batteries are excluded from the 36 month warranty, having a warranty period of 24
months.
This warranty covers any defects in workmanship or materials and does not cover any product failure due to accidents,
misuse or alteration made by an unauthorized person.
The special 36 month warranty is valid for the European Union. For other countries please refer to your specific
legislation or your local distributor.

Important: This warranty does not cover any damage or loss of data stored on warranty products. Therefore, Energy
Sistem's Technical Support will not assume any loss of the above mentioned information. In this respect it is
recommended that you make a backup of your data and remove any personal data from the product's internal memory
before you send it or send it only with the original data.
