All the hearing protectors which are included in this instruction
sheet are equipped with a thermoplastic headband or spring-
cushions. This hearing protector is intended to protect the

USER INSTRUCTION FOR ELECTRONIC FUNCTIONS
Radio (E1)
The hearing protector features level-limiting of audio signals
from the speakers to maximum 82 dB(A) at the ear.
Listening to the radio can entail degraded audibility of warning
signals at the workplace.
• Turn the dial marked “1” to switch on the radio. Continue
turning clockwise to increase the volume.
• In the event of poor reception conditions, the radio
automatically switches from stereo to mono mode to
maintain optimal audio quality.

Das Radiohören kann die Hörbarkeit von Warnsignalen am
Arbeitsplatz verschlechtern.
Ein/Aus Lautstärke
• Drehen Sie am Steller mit der Bezeichnung „1“, um
das Radio einzuschalten. Durch weiteres Drehen im
Uhrzeigersinn wird die Lautstärke erhöht.
• Bei schlechten Empfangsbedingungen wechselt
das Radio automatisch von Stereo zu Mono, um
eine bestmögliche Tonqualität aufrechtzuerhalten.
Frequenz/ Sendereinstellung (siehe Abb. E2)

den Sender einzustellen.

Alle gehoorbeschermers die in deze gebruiksaanwijzing
worden besproken, zijn voorzien van een hoofdband of
helmbevestiging van thermoplast of een nekbeugel van
roestvrij staal en met schuimplastic gevulde afdichtringen.
Deze gehoorbescherming is bedoeld om de gebruikers tegen
schadelijke geluidsniveaus te beschermen indoen aangepast
in overeenstemming met deze gebruiksaanwijzing. Alle
andere toepassingsgebieden zijn er niet voor bedoeld en
daarom niet toegestaan.

dient regelmatig te controleren of er onderdelen zijn
versleten en of er sprake is van barsten of lekkage in de
bescherming.
• Gooi het product onmiddellijk weg als het tekenen van
barsten of schade vertoont.
• De hygiëneset moet minstens 2 keer per jaar worden
vervangen. Kies de juiste hygiëneset voor uw
gehoorbeschermer.
• Reinigen met een mild reinigingsmiddel (zeep). Controleer
of het reinigingsmiddel niet irriterend werkt op de
huid. Dompel het product niet onder in water. Haal de
afdichtingsringen als de kappen vochtig zijn geworden,
zodat de verzachtende kussens kunnen drogen. Haal de
batterijen eruit.
• De gehoorbeschermer moet droog en schoon worden
bewaard , bv. in de originele verpakking.

Opzetten en instellen (A)
Strijk al uw haar opzij tot onder het kussen en plaats de
kappen over de oren, zodat ze comfortabel zitten en goed
aansluiten. Zorg ervoor dat uw oren geheel door de kappen
worden omsloten en dat u een gelijkmatige druk rond de
oren krijgt.
Hoofdband
Zet de gehoorbeschermer op nadat u deze in zijn breedste
stand hebt uitgezet. Stel de band nu af zodat de beschermer
licht op het hoofd rust.
Verwisselen van hygiëneset (B)
1. Haal de oude geluidsabsorber eruit (schuimplastic) en
monteer de nieuwe erin.
2. Trek het oude kussen eraf.
3. Centreer het nieuwe kussen boven het gat.
4. Druk met een vinger rondom langs de buitenkanten totdat
het kussen vastklikt.
5. Trek het oude kussen eruit en monteer het nieuwe erin.

De gehoorbeschermer is voorzien van een begrenzing die het
niveau van de geluidssignalen uit de luidsprekers beperkt tot
max. 82 dB(A) bij de oren.
Door naar de radio te luisteren kan de verstaanbaarheid van
waarschuwingssignalen op de werkplek verslechteren.
Aan/Uit Volume
• Draai aan de knop met de aanduiding “a” om de
radio aan te zetten. Draai de knop rechtsom om het
volume te verhogen.
• Bij een minder goede ontvangst schakelt de radio
automatisch over van stereo naar mono om een zo
goed mogelijke geluidskwaliteit te behouden.
