A new chemical formulation provides this ink with
greater resistance against the damaging effects
of light, gas, handling and even moisture. In fact,
Epson DURABrite Ultra ink has a lightfastness
rating of up to 120 years!*

Individual Intellidge™Ink Cartridges
With individual Epson Intellidge ink cartridges, the Epson STYLUS CX4700 is ideal for
users looking for a high quality multi-function printer with exceptionally high levels of ink
utilisation. Each Intellidge ink cartridge contains sophisticated circuitry that maintains an
accurate record of how much ink has been used and the amount remaining. Instead of
running out of ink half-way through a print job, the Epson STYLUS CX4700 printer driver
checks on the amount of ink in each cartridge and then displays a warning if one or more
cartridges are running low.
Since each Intellidge ink cartridge tracks its own
ink levels and maintains that information even when
unplugged from the unit, it’s the best possible system
for using full cartridges for continuous large print
jobs whilst partly used cartridges can be used for other
smaller jobs - maximum ink usage, maximum benefits.

Beautiful, vibrant and borderless prints. By taking advantage of Epson’s edge-to-edge
BorderFree print technologies used in high-end printers, Epson has designed the
Epson STYLUS CX4700 to generate graphic and photo prints that are BorderFree in

the Epson STYLUS CX4700 is capable of making
plain paper copies at speeds up to 18ˆ copies per
minute (cpm) in monochrome and 17ˆ cpm in colour.
Of course, one of the primary copy features that sets
the Epson STYLUS CX4700 well apart – and ahead
– of many dedicated photocopy machines is its ability
to create beautiful photograph copies on specialty
Epson photographic media.

With an advanced micro-step drive for scanning resolutions of up to
1200 x 2400dpi, the Epson STYLUS CX4700 achieves amazingly accurate

also affect the rate of fading. The estimated lightfastness period does not indicate the colour changing
or the durability of the paper itself. Epson recommends that your prints be stored in a photo album (or
plastic photo storage box) in acid free, archival sleeves commonly available from most camera shops.
