It’s the world’s first high performance ultraportable
projector—a featherweight, 9.4 pound, engineering
marvel armed with a revolutionary 3-LCD projection
system pumping out a total of nearly 1.5 million pixels
of rich, vibrant, eye-pleasing color (vs. a mere 480,000
pixels from its less sophisticated, single panel or DLP
chip competition).
The EPSON PowerLite 5500C also boasts lower
power consumption (only 120W) and less heat
build-up than other projectors. Plus, it generates an
impressive 650 ANSI lumens and lays claim to a 95%
illumination ratio and 300:1 contrast ratio. And the
color saturation of the PowerLite 5500C leaves all
single-device projectors looking pale. The result? Bright,
vivid colors and crisp, easy-to-read black text— even in
less than ideal lighting conditions.
Epson’s second generation SizeWise™resizing
technology lets you use your EPSON PowerLite 5500C
with XGA, SVGA and VGA computers, on both the PC
and Macintosh®platforms. It supports different power
and video standards in different countries, too.
