Introduction
The upCentric™height adjustable table allows sedentary workers to easily
alternate between seated and standing positions throughout the work day
to reduce backaches and pains, reduce stress and tension and improve
circulation throughout the body.
Moving the table is intuitive with the easy-to-use up/down control.
The quiet motors housed in each of the table’s legs ensure a quick,
smooth transition in positions.
The sturdy upCentric frame accommodates a variety of dierent
tabletop widths to make retrotting the table for new users and areas
very economical. The durable open frame design provides optimal
knee clearance and space for storage.

Important information
• Always make sure all screws are tightened before
use of the table and after moving or transporting.
• Duty cycle of the frame for desk is 10 %, max.
2 minutes operating/min. 18 minutes stop.
• Maximum load of the table is 250 lbs (114 kg). Ensure the loading
on each leg is less than 125 lbs (57 kg) otherwise it might cause
permanent damage to the leg(s) during operation.
• When the motor cable is connected to the control box the legs
can maintain an adequate locking force up to 250 lbs (114 kg)
load on the tabletop. However, when the cable is damaged or
is disconnected from the control box, it will cause the desk to
sink to the bottom within hours if the load on either leg is
larger than 125 lbs (57 kg).
• Make sure that no persons or items will collide with
the table, when adjusting upwards and downwards.
• Damaged cords must be replaced before connecting
the main power cable.
• Keep at least ¾" of free space around the whole frame/tabletop.
• The upCentric is not intended to be used as a person lift.
• Do not pull or push the table if adjusting.
• Do not lift the frame above the table o of ground when adjusting.

Safety instructions
Before installation/reinstallation
Make sure that the table is being installed as described in the “Connection”
section, page 12 in this Owner’s Manual. When installing and using electrical
equipment, basic safety precautions should always be followed to avoid a
risk of re, electric shock, or injury to persons :
1. If the power cord is damaged it must be replaced.
2. Do not open any electrical components
(control box, motor housing, handset).
3. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
4. Make sure the correct tools and assembly parts are used when
assembling the system.
5. Before transporting the table, always remove the power cord from
main power supply.

During operation
1. Not intended for use by children.
2. For indoor use only.
3. Do not use table when the load exceeds 250 lbs (114 kg).
4. Always unplug the table from the electrical outlet before cleaning.
5. Unplug from outlet before installing or removing parts.
6. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
7. Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are
being used or where oxygen is being administered.
8. To disconnect, lower table to minimum height,
then remove plug from outlet.
9. If table is heavily loaded, keep load away from edges to prevent
the possibility of the table tipping over.
10. Any servicing is to be performed by an authorized service

11. Make sure that no persons or items will collide with the table
when adjusting upwards and downwards.
12. If the control box or the legs make any unusual noises or smells,
immediately unplug table from power supply.

Preparing the tabletop
Assembly instructions
Step 3: Place the table leg housing (M) on a at surface. Insert column (I)
into the table leg housing, as shown to the right. Fasten the housing and
legs together with bolt (B). Repeat for second column.
Step 1: Lay protective matting/sheet on oor or work surface.
Step 2: Carefully place tabletop down on work surface with
the decorative laminate facing down and brown surface facing up.

Step 5: Align control box (K) to control box mount (L) using bolt (C)
and nut (H) secure (K) and (L) together.
Step 4: Attach feet (J) to the ends of the table legs with bolt (A).
Repeat for second assembly.

Step 6: Attach control box assembly to the table with screws (D).

Step 7: Align and attach handset to the table with screws (E).

Step 8: Align the leg assemblies to the pilot holes on your tabletop.
Secure leg assemblies in place using fastener (D) - 16 per side.

Step 10: Reset the control box before adjusting. Press and hold both up
and down buttons together for 3 to 5 seconds until you hear a beep coming
from the back of control box.
Step 9: Attach power cables (G), column cables, and control button cables
to the control box.

Connection
Before the control box is connected to the main power supply, the
individual parts of this table must be connected as described below:
Step 1.
Motors (legs) must be connected with control box using enclosed cables.
Step 2.
Handset must be connected with control box.
Step 3.
Control box must be connected to power supply.
Make sure to place the table on an equal leveled oor, or use
adjusting screws to level the frame. Make sure that all cords are long
enough when the frame is in both highest and lowest positions.
The control box is normally pre-assembled between the outer
pipes, underneath the tabletop. Handset is normally mounted
underneath the tabletop in a reachable distance for the user.
Getting started
The rst time a table is assembled it must be reset before use.
How to reset
Press and hold the up/down buttons on the handset at the same
time for 3 seconds.
Continue holding the buttons until both legs reach the lowest position.
When nished resetting, the handset will make a sound and the buttons
can be released.
Operation
Make sure the table is being installed as described under the
“Connection Section” in this user guide. When installing and using
electrical equipment, basic safety precaution should always be
followed to avoid a risk of re, electric shock or injury to persons.
Press and hold the up button to raise the desk.
Press and hold the down button to lower the desk.

Setting memory positions and upper/lower limits
Note: The system cannot be operated under setting mode. It will return
to normal operation if there’s no action made within 10 seconds.
How to set a memory postion
Use the up and down buttons to adjust table to the desired height.
Hold the up button and the desired memory button (1, 2, 3 or 4) together
until it beeps and P1, P2, P3 or P4 is shown on the display screen.
How to set an upper height limit
Operate the system and stop at the preferred height of upper limit.
Press #1 and #2 together for 3 seconds to enter setting mode,
the height of the current position will ash for 10 seconds.
Within 10 seconds, press ▲ button until the display turns to “¯ U” and
back to the height of the current position to memorize the upper limit.
How to set a lower height limit
Note: Upper limit is not required to set up a lower limit
Operate the system and stop at the preferred height of lower limit.
Press #1 and #2 together for 3 seconds to enter setting mode,
the height of the current position will start to ash for 10 seconds.
Within 10 seconds, press ▼ button until the display turns “_L” and back
to the height of the current position to memorize the lower limit.

How to erase upper/lower limit
In any position, press #2 and #3 together for 3 seconds, display shows ”CL”
and ashes for 10 seconds.
Within 10 seconds, press ▲ button to clean upper limit until the display turns
”¯CL “ and back to the height of the current position to clean the upper limit.
Within 10 seconds, press ▼ button to clean lower limit until the display turns
” _CL “ back to the number of current position to clean the lower limit.
How to move table to a saved position
Press and hold the memory button (1, 2, 3 or 4) until the table adjusts to the
saved position.
Re-set upper/lower limit
Cancellation of preset limit is required if the new preferred limit exceeds
existing preset range.
For example, if the preset limit range is 30"-40" and the new required upper
limit is 45", the installer should clean the upper limit rst and then set the
new upper limit.
If the new preferred limit is within the preset limit range, then the new
upper/lower limit could be set directly to overwrite. For example, if the
preset limit range is 30"-40" and the new required lower limit is 35", the
installer can directly set 35" as a lower limit by following above instruction
of “Set lower limit”.
Resetting the system after limits are set
A system reset overrides an established lower limit. Make sure that there
are no impediments between the table and full retraction when performing a
reset. Previously established lower limits will not be erased by a system reset.
Within the range between reset positon and preset lower limit, only
moving up is allowed until the height exceeds the preset lower limit.

Anti-collision safety feature
The control box for the upCentric table frame includes an anti-collision
function which may reduce damage to the table in the event of collision
with a rm object. When the table is raised/lowered, the power consumption
of each leg is monitored and compared to a predetermined value. If the
power consumption for the legs is increased relative to a predetermined
value, the system assumes that there is an obstruction (collision) and the
table will stop and then run in the opposite direction up to three inches.
The sensitivity of this anti-collision feature is dierent when moving
downwards. The anti-collision activates with an applied force of 45 lbs (20 kg)
when moving upward, or with an applied force of 85 lbs (38.5 kg) plus weight
of the tabletop and what is placed on the table when moving downward.
Situations where the anti-collision is not activated :
• If the collision occurs during the reset operation.
• If the collision occurs within the rst 2 seconds after de-activating
the handset.
• If the collision occurs downwards and the load on the table
and what is placed on the desktop is less than 85 lbs (38.5 kg).
• If the collision is not with a solid object.
Energy preserving feature
When the upCentric table is left in position for more than
3 minutes, it will go into standby mode in order to reduce energy
consumption. When adjusting your table after a dormant period,
hold the up or down button to take table out of stand by mode.

Troubleshooting
Disposal guidance
upCentric height adjustable tables may be disposed by dividing them
into dierent waste groups for recycling or combustion. We recommend
that the upCentric is disassembled as much as possible before disposal.
Main groups within sorting of waste: metal, plastic, cable scrap,
combustible material and collection for recoverable resources.

Informations importantes à retenir

• Le facteur de service est de 10 %; ceci signie que les montants
du châssis peuvent fonctionner pendant deux minutes en continu
et que la position sera xe pendant au moins 18 minutes.
