The type of brush being cut and the ground
conditions will determine the best ground speed
and cutting procedure. The attachment is designed
to cut short or tall grass, brush, and small saplings.
IMPORTANT: Before operating the attachment,
perform the service schedule for routine
maintenance found on page 13.
1. Inspect the cutting area for obstructions such as
stumps, wire, rocks, electricallines, debris, drop
offs, holes, etc. Remove obstructions from the
cutting area thatmight be picked up and thrown.
Clearly mark any obstructions that cannot be
removed.

the seat belt fastened, start the engine.
To improve stability, always
carry the attachment low to the ground while
driving.
3. Use the 3-point arms to lower the mower until
the wheel rests on the ground and the deck is
level.
To avoid serious injury or
death, never engage the tractor PTO drive or
operate the attachment in any position other
than the mowing position.
4. With the engine RPM at an idle, engage the
tractor PTO. Gradually throttle the engine up to
operating RPM.
IMPORTANT: Do not engage or disengage
PTO at full throttle.
IMPORTANT: Do not operate if excessive
vibration is present. Serious damage can
occur. Shut down tractor and check blades and
gearbox.
5. Drive forward into the work area.
