Thank you for choosing the Escali ECO200 Bamboo
Bathroom Scale. This precision state-of-the-art measuring
instrument is most accurate when weighing on a flat hard
surface. This scale will not function correctly on carpet. As the
electronic sensors are sensitive, avoid dropping, or jarring the
scale, and store where it will be protected from impact.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place two AAA batteries into the battery compartment on the
base of the scale. Ensure the +/-terminals are correctly
placed as indicated by the diagram within the battery
compartment.
2. Select your desired unit of measure by pressing the kg/lb/st
button on the base of the scale.
3. Place the scale on a solid and flat surface.
4. To activate, step onto the scale platform.
5. The scale will capture the weight and will hold it on the
display for five seconds.
6. The scale will turn off automatically when finished.
DISPLAY HOLD FEATURE
Your weight will stay on display for 5 seconds after the
measurement is taken, even if you step off the scale.
AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF
The scale will turn off after 15 seconds of inactivity to save
battery.
PROPER USE & CARE
 Use and stow the scale at room temperature.
 Use on a flat, level, and stable surface.
 This scale is an instrument of precision. Do not submit the
scale to shaking, excessive vibration, or other rough
treatment.

 The display may be affected by electromagnetic disturbances
such as radios, microwaves, or cell phones. If such
disturbances occur, remove the source of the disturbance,
and restart the scale.
 Disassembling, or tampering with the scale voids the
warranty.
 Clean the scale with a damp cloth.
 Do not submerge in liquid. The scale is not waterproof.
 For best results, use lithium cell batteries.
 Install only new batteries of the same type in your product.
 Failure to insert batteries in the correct polarity, as indicated
in the battery compartment, may shorten the life of the
batteries or cause batteries to leak.
 Do not mix old and new batteries.
 Do not mix Alkaline, Standard (Carbon-Zinc) or Rechargeable
(Nickel Cadmium) or (Nickel Metal Hydride) batteries.
 Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
 Batteries should be recycled or disposed of as per state and
local guidelines.
