1 Wichtige Hinweise
Bitte lies vor Gebrauch diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch und bewahre sie zum späteren
Nachschlagen gut auf.
1. Schalte vor der Installation, dem Anschluss und der Wartung immer die Stromversorgung aus.
2. Um das Risiko eines elektrischen Schlages zu verringern, sollte dieses Produkt bei einer erfor-
derlichen Wartung von einem autorisierten Techniker geöffnet werden.
3. Trenne das Gerät von der Stromversorgung und von anderen Geräten, falls ein Problem auftritt.
4. Verwende das Gerät nur für seinen vorgesehenen Zweck.
5. Verwende das Gerät nicht für andere Zwecke als die in der Bedienungsanleitung beschriebenen.
6. Verwende das Gerät nicht, wenn ein Teil beschädigt oder defekt ist.
7. Schaue nicht direkt in die leuchtenden Lampen, um Augenverletzungen zu vermeiden.
8. Berühre das Gerät nicht mit nassen Händen.
9. Die Lichtquelle ist nicht austauschbar. Werfe das Produkt weg, wenn die Lichtquelle das Ende
ihrer Lebensdauer erreicht hat.
10. Dieses Produkt enthält eine Lichtquelle der Energieeffizienzklasse „E“.

3 Inbetriebnahme
1. Schalte vor dem Anschließen des Geräts die Hauptstromversorgung aus und vergewissere
Dich, dass die Lampe nicht unter Strom steht. Befestige den Erdspieß an der Leuchte, indem Du
ihn gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehst.
2. Positioniere die Leuchte und stecke sie in den Boden.
3. Positioniere die Leuchte in der gewünschten Richtung. Bewege den Kopf nach oben und unten,
indem Du den Schraubbolzen, der die Leuchte festhält, lockerst.
4. Ziehe die Schraube nach der Positionierung wieder fest. Wiederhole diesen Schritt für alle
Leuchten, die Du aufstellen möchtest.
4 Download App
Scanne den unten dargestellten QR-Code. Lade und installiere anschließend die essentials App für
IOS- oder Android-Systeme.
5 Anlernen in der App
1. Öffne die essentials Smart Home App und erstelle ein neues Konto oder melde Dich mit Dei-
nem bestehenden Konto an.
2. Klicke oben rechts auf das „+“-Zeichen, um ein neues Gerät hinzuzufügen.
3. Wähle unter der Produktkategorie „Garten“ die Smart Garden LED Spot aus und
stecke die Spots in die Steckdose.
4. Vergewissere Dich, dass die LED-Lampen schnell blinken (1 Mal pro 0,5 Sekunden).
Wenn die LED-Lampen nicht blinken: Stecke den Stecker 3 Mal in die Steckdose bzw.
ziehe ihn 3 Mal wieder aus der Steckdose, bis die LED-Lampe zu blinken beginnt.
5. Wir empfehlen Dir, die Bluetooth-Funktion zu aktivieren.
6. Bestätige das WLAN-Netzwerk und das Passwort.
Hinweis: Es wird nur das 2,4GHz WLAN unterstützt.
7. Sobald die Spots von der App gefunden wurden, kannst Du jeden Spot einzeln hinzufügen und
einzeln benennen.
Hinweis: Die Gerätenamen werden auch von Amazon Alexa und Google Assistant verwendet.
Hinweis:
1. Wenn das Gerät nicht mit der App verbunden ist, wird es 3 Minuten blinken und ausgehen.

2. Wenn das Gerät versehentlich zurückgesetzt wurde, wird das Gerät nach 3 Minuten blinken
wieder verbunden oder Du ziehst den Stecker kurz aus der Steckdose und steckst ihn wieder
ein. Das Gerät wird dann erneut verbunden.
6 Entsorgung
Entsorge Deine Elektrogeräte nicht als unsortierten kommunalen Abfall, sondern nutze spezielle
Sammelstellen. Wende Dich an Deine Gemeindeverwaltung, um Informationen über die verfügba-
ren Sammelsysteme zu erhalten. Wenn Elektrogeräte auf Mülldeponien oder Müllkippen entsorgt
werden, können gefährliche Stoffe ins Grundwasser und in die Nahrungskette gelangen und Deine
Gesundheit und Dein Wohlbefinden beeinträchtigen.

1 Important instructions
Please read this manual carefully before use and keep for reference.
1. Always switch off the power supply before installation,connection and service.
2. To reduce risk of electric shock, this product should be opened by an authorized technician
when service is required.
3. Disconnect the product from the mains and other equipment if a problem should occur.
4. Only use the device for its intended purposes.
5. Do not use the device for other purposes than described in the manual
6. Do not use the device if any part is damaged or defective.
7. Do not look directly at the lighted lamps to avoid eye injuries.
8. Do not touch the device with wet hands.
9. The light source is not replaceable. Discard the product when the light source has reached the
end of its useful life.
10. This Product contains a light source of energy efficiency class „E“.

3 Installation
1. Before installation, turn off the main power supply and ensure that the lamp is not charged.
Attach the ground spike to the light by rotating it in a anti-clockwise direction.
2. Position and insert the light into the ground.
3. Position your light in the required direction. Move the head up and down by loosening the
screw bolt holding the light in place.
4. Once positioned tighten the screw bolt. Repeat this step for all lights you wish to set up.
4 Download App
Scan the QR code as below, get and install essentials Smart Home App for IOS and Android system.
5 Configuration
1. Start the essentials Smart Home App and create a new account or log into your existing account.
2. Click on the „+“ in the top-right of the screen to add your new device.
3. Select the applicable product type from the list of product.
4. Ensure the led bulbs are quick flashing (flashing 1 times per 0.5 second). If the led bulbs aren’t
flashing: Insert the plug 3 times into the socket or pull it out again pull it out of the socket 3
times until the LED lamp starts to flash.
5. You are advised to enable Bluetooth.
6. Confirm the Wi-Fi network and password.
Note: only 2.4GHz Wifi is supported.
7. Once the spots are found by the app, you can add and name each spot individually.
Note: the device name will be used by Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant too.
Note:
1. If the device is not connected to the app, it will flash for 3 minutes and go off. 2.
2. If the device is accidentally reset, the device will reconnect after 3 minutes of flashing or you
can unplug it briefly and plug it back in. The device will then be reconnected.

6 Recycling
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection faci-
lities. Contact your local government for information regarding the collection systems available. If
electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the
groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being.
