Overview
OneTrack Backbone
End Feed Housing
OneTrack Backbone End Feed Housing is an enclosure for the OneTrack End
Feed when used with OneTrack Backbone.
Separate installation and wiring instructions are provided with the End Feed.
For information on planning a complete OneTrack system, see the OneTrack
by ETC and OneTrack Backbone System Planning and Installation Manual
available for download at etcconnect.com/OneTrack.
Installation
Tools required: #2 Phillips screwdriver, 15 mm socket wrench, and 8 mm socket wrench for
knockout
1. Remove the side panels of the End Feed Housing. Retain
the side panels and hardware for later reattachment.


2. Slide the End Feed Housing into the OneTrack Backbone.


3. Secure the top portion of the End Feed Housing to the
OneTrack Backbone using the attached bolt.


4. Install 16mm (1/2in) conduit or cable fitting to the
opening on the End Feed Housing that is farthest from
the bolt. Insertwiring through the opening in the top of
the End Feed Housing, and then cover the other opening
with the provided plug.
Note: ETC does not support the
termination of Class1 power and
Class2 data wiring in the same
OneTrack End Feed. The second
opening on the End Feed Housing is for
in-and-through power wiring to feed a
separate section of track. End Feed
terminals only support one wire each;
use wire nuts in the pull box to connect
incoming, outgoing, and termination
wiring.
5. Secure conduit or cable to the End Feed Housing. Ensure
thatthere is enough spare wire in the housing to avoid
tension on the End Feed terminals and that all spare wire
is neatly stowed.


6. Punch out the knockout on the top of the OneTrack End
Feed for wiring entry, and then follow the instructions
included with the End Feed to terminate the wiring.


7. Connect the End Feed to the OneTrack that is already
mounted in OneTrack Backbone.


8. Reattach the side panels on the End Feed Housing and
secure with provided hardware.

