Overview
OneTrack
Backbone
I-coupler
Housing
OneTrack Backbone I-coupler Housing is an enclosure for the
OneTrack I-coupler when used with OneTrack Backbone. The I-
coupler Housing is only available with a pull box.
Separate installation and wiring instructions are provided with the
I-coupler. For information on planning a complete OneTrack
system, see the
OneTrack by ETC and OneTrack Backbone System

Installation
Tools required: #2 Phillips screwdriver, 15 mm socket wrench, and 8 mm socket wrench for
knockout (if feeding power or data to the coupler)
1. Remove the side panels of the I-coupler
Housing. Retain the side panels and
hardware for later reattachment.

2. Slide the I-coupler Housing into the
OneTrack Backbone.

3. Secure the I-coupler Housing to the
OneTrack Backbone using the attached
bolts.
Tighten bolts
to secure
4. Will you feed power or data into the
OneTrack I-coupler?
• No: Cover the opening in the top of
the I-coupler Housing with the
provided plug. Skip to step 8.
• Yes: Continue to step 5.
Insert plug
(if no wiring
needed)
5. Install 16 mm (1/2 in) conduit or cable
fitting to the opening on the I-coupler
Housing. Insertwiring through the
opening in the top of the I-coupler
Housing.
6. Secure conduit or cable to the I-coupler
Housing. Ensure thatthere is enough spare
wire in the housing to avoid tension on the
I-coupler terminals and that all spare wire
is neatly stowed.

(if feeding
power)
7. Punch out the knockout on the top of the
OneTrack I-coupler for wiring entry, and
then follow the instructions included with
the I-coupler to terminate the wiring. If
you are feeding power into the coupler,
attach the ground wire to the I-coupler
Housing using the provided connector.

8. Connect the I-coupler to the OneTrack
that is already mounted in OneTrack
Backbone.

9. Connect the other section
of OneTrack to the I-
coupler, and secure the I-
coupler Housing to
OneTrack Backbone using
the attached bolts.
Connect
remaining
section
Tighten
bolts to
secure
10. Reattach the side panels
on the I-coupler Housing
and secure with provided
hardware.
