TURNING THE RADIO ON AND OFF
Turn it on and off with the VOLUME control. When it’s on, the

charged. Once fully charged, the radio will play for about 8
hours, at low volume.

TUNING-IN STATIONS
1. Select AM, FM or WBÊÜi>ÌiÀÊL>`®ÊV>iÊ£ÇÊÜÌÊ
the band selector switch. For FM and WB]ÊvÕÞÊiÝÌi`Ê
the telescopic antenna for best reception. When listening
to AM the antenna is not needed because AM reception
uses an internal ferrite bar antenna.
2. Tune AM and FM stations with the TUNEÊL]Ê>`ÊÌÕiÊ
in WBÊÜi>ÌiÀÊL>`®ÊÜÌÊÌiÊÇ«ÃÌÊÃÜÌV°ÊÊÃÌÊ
communities you will hear only one weather station.

CELL PHONE CHARGING
To charge the cell phone from the radio’s Li-Poly battery, use
the cell phone’s USB charging cord to connect it to the radio’s

will turn ON. The cell phone’s battery charging indicator will

Turn the light on and off with the light switch button, located
on top of the unit, near the light.

Hand Turbine Crank
Turn hand crank
for
immediate
charge
to
the
internal battery.
Flashlight Control
Press
the flashlight button
to
turn
on/off
the
built
in
LED
lights.
AM/FM/Weather
Band Tuner
Use
band switch
to
choose
AM,
FM
or
one
of
the
seven Weather bands.
POWER
and
Volume
Control
Turn
radio on by using the volume dial.
Adjust the volume
with
the volume dial.
Battery
Charge
Indicator
Check the battery charge indicator
to
check
if
the device
is
on or charging.
AM/FM Tuner Control
Tune radio dial
to
desired station.

CELL
PHONE
CRANK
CHARGING
Once the
Rover
has
been fully charged either through the mini
USB
port (cord included)
or
by the hand crank, please follow the instructions below
for
charging your
cell
phone.
NOTE:
With
a fully charged unit, 20 minutes
of
cell
phone charging will then allow
approximately 20-25 minutes
of
talk time. It takes approximately 5 hours
to
fully
re-charge
the
Rover via the mini
USB
port.

dump
charge power from the

your cell phone.
