Utilisation de l´Ecran Facial
L´écran facial doit être utilisé en position baissée pour assurer la protection des yeux et du visage.
Rangement - Important !
Lorsque le casque est rangé, ne laissez pas les coquilles anti-bruit appuyées sur la calotte durant des périodes prolongées. Les
coussinets d´étanchéité seront endommagés et les encoches latérales du casque pourraient se détériorer sous l´effet de la
pression permanente.
Instructions: Ajustement Personnel
Tirez la molette (1) (en option) et tournez-la dans le sens contraire
des aiguilles d´une montre pour serrer le tour de tête.
Appuyer sur le bouton pour le bloquer. Le bandeau doit maintenant
être bien en place sous-occipitale.
Contrôle
Le casque FOREST RANGER est certifié à la norme EN 397.
Utilisation
Le casque FOREST RANGER protège son porteur contre les objets
chutant jusqu'à une certaine limite et en cas de froid jusqu'à -30 °C.
Entretien
Il convient de nettoyer le casque avec un nettoyant doux et de l'eau tiède (moins de 50°C). Il est fortement déconseillé d'utiliser des
solvants ou des produits chimiques forts susceptibles d'attaquer la calotte du casque.
Examen
Avant toute utilisation, il s'impose de contrôler si le casque présente des détériorations, comme parexemple des coupures ou des
fissures et similaires. Dans un tel cas, il faut absolument remplacer le casque et ce sans délai. C'est également valable même si le
casque est manifestement intact suite à unaccident. Si la CRASHBOX est endommagée, il faut impérativement remplacer le
casque.
Rangement et transport
Rangez le casque FOREST RANGER dans des conditions de température normales dans un
endroit propre et sec où il ne pourrait pas être abîmé. Évitez absolument de le ranger sur la plage arrière votre voiture.
Jugulaires
Les jugulaires s´attachent au crochets latéraux de la coiffe (2),
qui s'ouvrent automatiquement (en cas de danger d'étranglement).

Les pièces de rechange suivantes sont disponibles pour les casques FOREST RANGER:

Étiquetage
Selon la norme EN 397
Le casque FOREST RANGER a été non seulement contrôlé conformément à la norme EN397 (tests de base minimum selon la loi)
mais également selon les critères supplémentaires suivants (étiquetage correspondant)- basse température -30° C
Vieillissement / durée d'utilisation du casque
Si les casques FOREST RANGER sont utilisés quotidiennement et correctement, il est conseiller de les remplacer après 6 ans au
maximum.
Attention
Ne jamais modifier ce casque d´une manière non recommandée par le fabricant.
Ne pas appliquer de peinture sur ce casque.
Instructions d' Utilisation des Coquilles anti-bruit
Les coquilles anti-bruit sont conformes à la norme EN 352-3:2002. Si vous avez besoin d'informations supplémentaires, veuillez
s.v.p. vous adresser au fabricant.
Produit / Modèle : Le modèl 3017 sont des coquilles de protection auditive à arceau réglable avec coquilles interchangeables à
rembourrage et mousse absorbante montées sur étriers.
Recommandations : L'utilisateur devra vérifier que les coquilles anti-bruit soient bien ajustées sur les oreilles et entretenues selon
les prescriptions du fabricant. Veillez à toujours les porter en zone de nuisance sonore et à contrôler régulièrement leur bon état.
Attention : si vous ne suivez pas ces recommandations, l'effet protecteur des coquilles anti-bruit diminue
considérablement.
Nettoyage
Certaines substances chimiques peuvent affecter ce produit. Veuillez consulter
le fabricant pour obtenir des informations supplémentaires. Pour le nettoyage,
n'utilisez aucun produit chimique. Le dispositif de protection auditive peut se
nettoyer avec un essuie humide avec de l'eau savonneuse tiède. Laissez-les
sécher avant de le réutiliser. N'employez aucune brosse à crins durs ou autres
susceptibles d'endommager les coussinets ou la mousse absorbante.
Maintenance :
Les coquilles anti-bruit et particulièrement les coussinets peuvent s'user et doivent
être contrôlés par exemple pour vérifier qu'ils ne présentent pas des signes de
cassures ou de fissures. Remplacez les coussinets si nécessaire, mais au moins
tous les 6 mois. Les coussinets usagés doivent être retirés et remplacés soigneusement par de nouveaux dans les coquilles, en les
pressant bien uniformément.
La mousse absorbante doit être aussi, selon le besoin, être changée dans les coquilles.
L'arceau ne doit pas être déformé ou être ajusté inutilement, car la bonne force d'application de cet élément est un facteur
important pour le maintien des propriétés d´atténuation.

Protection du Visage
L'écran en métal grillagé est conforme à la norme EN 1731 - niveau S pour la protection des yeux et du visage. Le niveau de
protection peut êtreaugmenter en rajoutant des lunettes rétractables incolores (-LPC) conforme à la norme EN 166.

Use of the face shield
The face shield must be used in the lowered position in order to assure the protection of the face and eyes
Storage – Important !
When the helmet is stocked, the earmuffs should not be left pressing on the helmet shell for long periods.
The cushions and also the slots of the helmets can be damaged by the permanent pressure.
2. Instructions : Personal adjustment
Pull the ratchet wheel (1) outwards and turn anti-clockwise to tighten the headband. Press on the ratchet wheel to lock it in position.
The headband should now be properly in place on the back of the head.
Certification
The FOREST RANGER helmets are tested and comply with EN397.
Utilisation
The FOREST RANGER helmets protect the wearer from falling objects
up to a certain limit and are also tested at -30°C.
Maintenance
The helmet shell can be cleaned with a soft cloth and warm soapy water
(less than 50°C). The use of solvents and other chemical cleaning products
is not recommended as they can attack the substance of the helmet shell.
Inspection
Before each use, the helmet should be inspected for damage such as cuts or splits If any such damage is evident the helmet
should be replaced. If the Crash box cover shows any sign of damage the helmet should be replaced immediately. If the helmet
has received a substantial shock but show no sign of damage it should still be replaced.
Storage and transport
Store the FOREST RANGER at ambient temperature in a clean dry place here it will not be damaged. Do not store it on the back
window ledge of a car.
Chinstraps
The chinstrap is attached to the lateral hooks (2) on the head harness and will open automatically in case of danger of strangulation.

Marking : According to EN 397
The FOREST RANGER helmet has been tested and complies with EN397 and also for resistance at low temperature -30°C.
Recommended life of the helmet
The FOREST RANGER helmet can used for a recommended period of 6 years from the date of manufacture. This date is marked
on the inside of the helmet shell.
Warning :
The helmet must never be modified in any way that is not recommended by the manufacturer.
Do not paint the helmet shell.
Instructions for the use of the Earmuffs
The earmuffs comply with EN352-3 :2002. If you need further information regarding the level for protection, please get in touch with
the manufacturer.
The 3017 earmuffs are ear defenders mounted on adjustable legs with replaceable cushions and foam stuffing.
Recommendation : The wearer should check that the earmuffs are properly adjusted on the ears and are maintained in good
condition. Always use the earmuffs when in a noisy environment.
Attention :If you do not follow these instructions the protection effect of the earmuffs will be severely diminished.
Cleaning
Some chemicals can affect the earmuffs. Please consult the manufacturer for further information. The earmuffs can be cleaned with
a soft cloth and warm soapy water. Allow them to dry before use. Do not use chemical cleaning products or solvents. Do not use a
wire brush or any other tool which can physically damage the cushions or foam padding of the earmuffs.
Maintenance :
The earmuffs and in particular the cushions can deteriorate and should be checked regularly for signs of cutting or splitting. If
necessary the cushions should be replaced normally every 6 months. The cushions should be removed carefully and the new one
pressed onto the frame carefully and uniformly so that the cushion clicks into place. The foam padding can also be replaced if
necessary. The support legs must not be altered or deformed as they apply the correct pressure to achieve the correct noise
attenuation.

Protection the face
The metal mesh visor complies with EN1731 –Level S covering eye and face protection. The level of eye protection can be
increased by using the INTEGRASPEC integrated retractable safety spectacles : - LPC Transparent complyingwithEN166.

Benutzung des Gesichtsschutzgitters :
Das Gesichtsschutzgitter muss in der geschlossenen Position benutzt werden um ausreichenden Gesichts-und Augenschutz
zugewährleisten.
Lagerung – wichtig !
Wenn das Forsthelmset nicht benutzt wird, sollten die Gehörschützer nicht dauernd unter Spannung an der Helmschale anliegen.
Die Polsterringe und auch die Helmslots können durch den Dauerdruck schadennehmen.
Individuelle Einstellung :
Ziehen Sie den Drehknopf nach aussen und drehen Sie Ihn gegen den Uhrzeigersinn, um einen festeren Sitz des Helmes zu
erreichen. Drücken Sie den Knopf um die gewählte Einstellung zusichern. Der Helm sollte festsitzen, aber keinen Druck auf den
Kopf erzeugen.
Zertifizierung :
Der FOREST RANGER Helm ist getestet und zertifiziert nach EN397.
Schutzbereich :
FOREST RANGER Helme schützen den Träger gegen fallende Gegen-
stände bis zu einer bestimmten Grenze und sind auch zusätzlich geprüft
bis -30°C.
Pflege :
Die Helmkombination sollte mit einem weichen Tuch und warmem Seifen-
wasser gereinigt werden. Der Gebrauch von Lösemitteln und anderen
Reinigungschemikalien kann nicht empfohlen werden, da sie dem Helmset
schaden können.
Inspektion:
Vor jedem Gebrauch sollte das Helmset auf Beschädigungen wieSchnitte oder Risse kontrolliert werden. Bei jeder Beschädigung
sollte der Helm ausgetauscht werden. Auch wenn die Crash box beschädigt ist, unbedingt den ganzen Helmaustauschen, das
gleiche gilt für jede Art von Beaufschlagung auch ohne Anzeichen von Beschädigung des Helmes.
Lagerung und Transport :
Die Lagerung des FOREST RANGER sollte bei Raumtemperatur in trockener Umgebung gelagert werden, niemals jedoch auf der
Hutablage eines Autos.
Kinnriemen :
Der Kinnriemen wird an den beiden seitlichen Haken des Kopfbandesbefestigt (2). Sie werden sich automatisch öffnen falls die
Gefahr einer Strangulation droht.
Ersatzteile :
Folgende Ersatzteile sind für den FOREST RANGER erhältlich:

Markierung : gemäß EN 397
Der FOREST RANGER Helm ist geprüft und entspricht EN397 Zusatzprüfung für Niedrigtemperaturen bis -30°C.
ProduktlebensdauerHelm :
Die empfohlene Lebensdauer des FOREST RANGER Helms beträgt 6 Jahre ab Datum der Herstellung. Dieses Datum ist innen an
der Helmschale markiert.
Warnung :
Der Helm soll in keiner Weise modifiziert werden, auch nicht lackiert oder gebohrt.
Instruktion für die Benutzung des Gehörschutzes :
Der Gehörschutzentspricht EN352-3 :2002. Wenn Sie weitere Informationen über den Schutzumfang erhalten möchten, wenden
Sie sich bitte an den Hersteller.
Die 3017 Gehörschützer sind für die Anbringung an den Forest Ranger Helm konzipiert und können in Höhe und Seitenneigung
verstellt werden.
Empfehlung : Der Benutzer sollte darauf achten, dass die Gehörschützer korrekt eingestellt sind (dh die Ohrenkomplettabdecken)
und in gutem Wartungszustand gehalten werden. Der Gehörschutz sollte immer in Lärmumgebung getragen werden.
Achtung: Wenn Sie dieser Anleitung nicht folgen, kann der Schutzeffekt des Gehörschutzes deutlich reduziert sein.
Reinigung :
Einige Chemikalien können dem Gehörschutz schaden. Bitte fragen Sie den Hersteller nach weiteren Informationen. Der
Gehörschutz sollte mit einem weichen Tuch und warmem Seifenwasser gereinigt werden. Bitte vor Benutzung trocknen lassen.
Benutzen Sie keine chemischen Reinigungs- oder Lösungsmittel. Die Benutzung von Drahtbürsten oder ähnlichem Werkzeug kann
die Ohrenpolster des Gehörschutzes schädigen.
Wartung :
Die Gehörschutzohrenpolster können schrumpfen und sollten regelmässig auf Schnitte oder Risse untersucht werden. Falls
notwendig sollten die Ohrpolster regelmässig nach 6 Monaten gewechselt werden. Die Ohrpolster dazu vorsichtig abziehen und die
neuen auf der Polsterplatte ausrichten und festdrücken (selbstklebend). Die Schaumfüllung der Gehörschutzkapseln kann
ebenfalls ausgetauscht werden falls notwendig (Verschmutzung). Die Gehörschutzarme sollten nicht geändert oder verformt
werden, da sie den Anpressdruck für die korrekte Lärmdämmung liefern.

Gesichtsschutz :
Der Metallfoliengesichtsschutzentspricht EN1731 –S für Augen- und Gesichtsschutz. Der Schutzumfang kann durch die
