At the time of its introduction on the market the product fulfills the requirements, which were
specified in the directive for the standardization of the laws of the Member States concerning the
electromagnetic compatibility (2014/30/EU) of electrical equipment within certain voltage limits
(2014/35/EU). This product is identified by the CE marking and delivered with a declaration of
conformity for inspection by the market monitoring authority.

Au moment de la mise sur le marché, le produit satisfait aux exigences fixées par la directive
relative à l’harmonisation des législations des États membres concernant la compatibilité
électromagnétique (2014/30/EU) du matériel électrique destiné à être employé dans certaines
limites de tension (2014/35/EU). Ce produit porte le marquage CE ; il est livré avec une déclaration
de conformité qui peut être consultée par l’autorité de surveillance du marché.

1.1.Bestimmungsgemäße
Verwendung
Das Gerät ist ausschließlich zum Klimatisieren,
Ventilieren und Entfeuchten der Luft in
geschlossenen Räumen konzipiert.
•Es ist ausschließlich für den
Privatgebrauch bestimmt und nicht für
den gewerblichen Bereich geeignet.
•Gerät nicht anders bedienen als in
dieser Gebrauchsanweisung
beschrieben, andernfalls entfällt im
Schadensfall der Garantieanspruch.
•Zur bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung
gehört auch die Einhaltung der vom
Hersteller vorgeschriebenen Betriebs-
und Wartungsbedingungen.
•Umbauten oder Veränderungen an dem
Gerät sind aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht
zulässig.
Jedwede Verwendung, die außerhalb dieser
Anwendungsbereiche liegt, ist nicht
bestimmungsgemäß und gilt somit als
Fehlgebrauch.
1.2.Fehlgebrauch
•Gerät nicht anschließen, wenn es
sichtbare Schäden aufweist oder Netz-
kabel bzw. Netzstecker defekt ist.
•Netzstecker sofort aus der Steckdose
ziehen, wenn das Gerät seltsame
Geräusche, Gerüche oder Rauch
entwickelt.
•Gerät nicht im Freien aufstellen.
•Gerät nicht mit Mehrfachsteckdosen am
Stromnetz anschließen.
•Kein Verlängerungskabel verwenden.
•Netzkabel nicht auf Spannung verlegen.
•Netzkabel nicht knicken.
•Gerät so aufstellen, dass der
Netzstecker zugänglich ist.
•Netzkabel am Netzstecker aus der
Steckdose ziehen.

Es besteht die Gefahr, dass der Lüftungsstrom
diese ansaugt.

Unsachgemäßer Umgang mit dem Gerät kann
zu Beschädigungen des Gerätes führen.
1.3.Sicherheit zu bestimmten
Personengruppen
Das Gerät dürfen Kinder ab 8 Jahren sowie
Personen, deren physische, sensorische oder
mentale Fähigkeiten beeinträchtigt sind, oder
die einen Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen
vorweisen, bedienen. Jedoch muss man sie
dabei beaufsichtigen oder bezüglich des
sicheren Gebrauchs des Geräts unterweisen und
sie müssen die möglichen Gefahren verstehen.
Reinigung und Wartung des Geräts dürfen
Kinder nur unter Beaufsichtigung eines
Erwachsenen durchführen.
Kinder beaufsichtigen, um sicherzustellen, dass
sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

•Netzstecker nie mit feuchten oder
nassen Händen anfassen.
•Das Gerät nur nach Angaben der
Gebrauchsanweisung montieren und
anschließen.
•Im Notfall sofort den Netzstecker aus
der Steckdose ziehen.
•Vor jedem Reinigungs- oder
Wartungseingriff den Netzstecker aus
der Steckdose ziehen.
•Ein beschädigtes Netzkabel
unverzüglich durch unseren
Kundendienst ersetzen lassen.
•Sind Netzkabel oder Netzstecker
beschädigt, das Gerät nicht mehr
benutzen.
•Außer den in dieser
Gebrauchsanweisung beschriebenen
Reinigungs- und Wartungsarbeiten
keine Eingriffe am Gerät vornehmen.

2. Gerät auspacken und aufstellen
Gerät vorbereiten
Die Verpackung muss unbeschädigt sein.
Gerät auf Transportschäden überprüfen.
Ein beschädigtes Gerät auf keinen Fall in
Betrieb nehmen.
Im Schadensfall den Kundendienst
kontaktieren www.ggv-service.de.
BESCHÄDIGUNGSGEFAHR!
Beim Öffnen keine scharfen Messer oder andere
spitze Gegenstände benutzen, um eine
Beschädigung des Gerätes zu vermeiden.
Gerät aufstellen
•Das Heizgerät mindestens 50 cm von
Möbeln oder anderen Gegenständen
entfernt aufstellen.
•Dieses Gerät nicht in der Nähe einer
Badewanne, einer Dusche, eines
Waschbeckens oder eines
Schwimmbeckens benutzen.
BRANDGEFAHR!
•Um die Brandgefahr zu verringern,
Textilien, Vorhänge oder andere
entzündliche Materialien mindestens 1
m Abstand vom Luftauslass einhalten.
•Gerät während des Betriebs
oder kurz nach dem Betrieb
niemals abdecken.

2.1.Geräte einschalten
1. Den Drehknopf Leistungsstufen (4) von
A (aus) auf die gewünschte Ventilation
drehen.
A= Aus
B= Kaltstufe ohne Wärme
C= I 1000 Watt Leistung
D= II 2000 Watt leistung
2. Mit dem Drehknopf Temperaturegelung
(2) (von links nach rechts), die
gewünschte Temperatur einstellen.
Regulierung des Temperaturreglers
Wenn der Raum die gewünschte Temperatur
erreicht hat, mit dem Temperaturregler (2)
gegen den Uhrzeigersinn bis zum Ausschalten
des Gerätes und nicht darüber hinaus drehen.
Auf diese Weise regelt sich die festgelegte
Temperatur automatisch.
Sommerbetrieb (nur Lüftung)
Den Drehknopf Leistungsstufen (4) auf Position
B drehen und die Lüftung startet.
Oszilation
Auf die Taste Oszilatoin (5) drücken, und die
Lüftungsflügel drehen sind von links nach
rechts.
3. Reinigung und Pflege
Die regelmäßige Reinigung und Pflege des
Gerätes wirkt sich nicht nur umweltschonend
und energiesparend aus, sondern erhöht auch
dessen Lebensdauer. Die nachfolgende
Beschreibung gibt wertvolle Tipps.
•Vor jeder Reinigung das Gerät
vollständig abkühlen lassen.
•Vor der Reinigung immer den Stecker
aus der Steckdose ziehen.
•Lufteinlass-/-auslassgitter häufig mit
einem trockenen Tuch reinigen.
STROMSCHLAGGEFAHR!
•Gerät vom Stromnetz trennen.
•Das Gerät sowie die Fernbedienung
zum Reinigen niemals in Wasser
tauchen.
•Zur Reinigung keinen Dampfreiniger
verwenden.
•Das Heizgerät ist mit einer
Sicherheitsvorrichtung ausgestattet, die
das Heizgerät bei unbeabsichtigter
Überhitzung abschaltet (z.B.
Verstopfung der Luftein- und
Luftauslassgitter, langsames oder gar
kein Drehen des Motors). Zum
Zurücksetzen trennen Sie den Stecker
für einige Minuten vom Netz, beseitigen
Sie die Ursache der Überhitzung und
schließen Sie das Gerät wieder an.

SACHBESCHÄDIGUNG
Unsachgemäße Reinigung des Geräts kann zu
Beschädigungen führen.
Keine Verwendung von
•aggressiven Reinigungsmitteln
•Bürsten mit Metall- oder Nylonborsten
•scharfen, metallischen Gegenständen
wie Messer, harte Spachtel und
dergleichen. Diese können die
Oberflächen beschädigen.
Gerät reinigen
Mithilfe einer geeigneten weichen Bürste Staub
und Verschmutzungen aus den
Lüftungsöffnungen entfernen.
4. Garantiebedingungen
Die nachstehenden Bedingungen, die
Voraussetzungen und Umfang unserer
Garantieleistung beschreiben, lassen das
Gewährleistungsrecht des Endabnehmers
unberührt.
Für dieses Gerät leisten wir Garantie gemäß
nachstehenden Bedingungen:
Als Käufer eines Exquisit – Gerätes haben Sie
eine Herstellergarantie (2 Jahre ab Kaufdatum.
Während dieser Garantiezeit haben Sie die
Möglichkeit, Ihre Ansprüche direkt in der
Serviceplattform des Herstellers unter
www.ggv-service.de
geltend zu machen.
Beim Abschluss einer zusätzlichen Garantie
zwischen Ihnen und Ihrem Händler sind jegliche
Ansprüche nach Ablauf der 24-monatigen
Herstellergarantie ausgeschlossen. Wenden Sie
sich in diesem Fall direkt an Ihrem Händler.
Leistungsdauer
Die Garantie läuft 24 Monate ab Kaufdatum
(Kaufbeleg ist vorzulegen). Während der ersten
6 Monate beseitigt der Kundendienst Mängel am
Gerät unentgeltlich. Voraussetzung ist, dass das
Gerät ohne besonderen Aufwand für
Reparaturen zugänglich ist. In den weiteren 18
Monaten ist der Käufer verpflichtet
nachzuweisen, dass der Mangel bereits bei
Lieferung bestand.
Bei gewerblicher Nutzung (z.B. in Hotels,
Kantinen) oder bei Gemeinschaftsnutzung durch
mehrere Haushalte, beträgt die Garantie 12
Monate ab Kaufdatum (Kaufbeleg ist
vorzulegen). Während der ersten 6 Monate
beseitigt der Kundendienst Mängel am Gerät
unentgeltlich. Voraussetzung ist, dass das Gerät
ohne besonderen Aufwand für Reparaturen
zugänglich ist. In den weiteren 6 Monaten ist
der Käufer verpflichtet nachzuweisen, dass der
Mangel bereits bei Lieferung bestand.
Durch die Inanspruchnahme der Garantie
verlängert sich die Garantie weder für das Gerät
noch für die neu eingebauten Teile.
Umfang der Mängelbeseitigung
Innerhalb der genannten Fristen beseitigen wir
alle Mängel am Gerät, die nachweisbar auf
mangelhafte Ausführung oder Materialfehler
zurückzuführen sind. Ausgewechselte Teile
gehen in unser Eigentum über.
Ausgeschlossen sind:
Normale Abnutzung, vorsätzliche oder
fahrlässige Beschädigung, Schäden, die durch
Nichtbeachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung,
unsachgemäße Aufstellung, bzw. Installation
oder durch Anschluss an falsche Netzspannung
entstehen, Schäden aufgrund von chemischer
bzw. elektrothermischer Einwirkung oder durch
sonstige anormale Umweltbedingungen, Glas-,
Lack- oder Emaille Schäden und evtl.
Farbunterschiede sowie defekte Glühlampen.
Ebenso sind Mängel am Gerät ausgeschlossen,
die aufgrund von Transportschäden
zurückzuführen sind. Wir erbringen auch dann
keine Leistungen, wenn – ohne unsere
besondere, schriftliche Genehmigung – von
nicht ermächtigten Personen am Gerät Arbeiten
vorgenommen oder Teile fremder Herkunft
verwendet wurden. Diese Einschränkung gilt
nicht für mangelfreie, durch eine qualifizierte
Fachkraft mit unseren Originalteilen,
durchgeführte Arbeiten zur Anpassung des
Gerätes an die technischen Schutzvorschriften
eines anderen EU-Landes.
Geltungsbereich
Unsere Garantie gilt für Geräte, die in der
Bundesrepublik Deutschland oder Österreich
erworben wurden und in Betrieb sind.
Bei Reklamationen defekter Geräte müssen
Absender- und Empfänger Anschrift in der
Bundesrepublik Deutschland oder Österreich
sein.
Für Geräte, die in anderen europäischen
Ländern erworben und betrieben werden, gelten
die Garantiebedingungen des Verkäufers.
Für Reparaturaufträge außerhalb der
Garantiezeit gilt:
Wird ein Gerät repariert, sind die
Reparaturrechnungen sofort fällig und ohne
Abzug zu bezahlen

Altgerät entsorgen (DE)
Altgeräte dürfen nicht in den Hausmüll
Das Symbol der durchgestrichenen
Abfalltonne auf Rädern auf dem
Produkt oder seiner Verpackung bedeutet, dass
das Gerät nicht im Hausmüll entsorgt werden
darf, sondern eine separate Entsorgung
erfordert. Sie können das Altgerät kostenfrei
bei einer geeigneten kommunalen Sammelstelle
für Elektro- und Elektronikaltgeräte, z.B. einem
Wertstoffhof, abgeben.

Wesentlichen die gleichen Funktionen wie das
neue Gerät erfüllt, bei einem entsprechenden
Händler kostenfrei zurückgegeben werden.
Bezüglich der Modalitäten der Rückgabe eines
Altgeräts im Fall der Auslieferung des neuen
Geräts, wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Händler.

The appliance is designed exclusively for air
conditioning, ventilating and dehumidifying the
air in closed rooms.

7. Unpacking and setting up the appliance
Preparing the appliance
The packaging materials must be
undamaged.
Inspect the appliance for transport
damage.
On no account should a damaged
appliance be put into operation.

Do not use sharp knives or other pointed
objects when opening to avoid damaging the
appliance.
Setting up the appliance
•Place the heater at least 50 cm away
from furniture or other objects.
•Do not use this appliance near a
bathtub, shower, washbasin or
swimming pool.
FIRE HAZARD!
•To reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles,
curtains or other flammable materials
at least 1 m away from the air outlet.
•Never cover the appliance
during or shortly after
operation.
The appliance
•Set up the appliance in an easily
accessible location.
•Set up the appliance on a level, dry and
sufficiently stable surface.
•Do not place the appliance at the edge
of a surface.
•Do not place any objects on the
appliance.
•Never expose the appliance to high
temperatures (heaters, etc.) or adverse
weather conditions (rain, etc.).
7.1.Switching on the appliance
1. Turn the power level rotary knob (4)
from A (Off) to the desired ventilation.
A= Off
B= Cold setting without heat
C= I 1000 Watt power
C= II 2000 Watt power
2. Use the temperature control rotary knob
(2) (from left to right) to set the desired
temperature.
Regulating the temperature controller
When the room has reached the desired
temperature, turn the temperature control (2)
anticlockwise until the appliance is switched off
but not beyond.
In this way, the set temperature regulates itself
automatically.
Summer mode (ventilation only)
Turn the power level rotary knob (4) to position
B and ventilation starts.
Oscillation
Press the oscillation button (5) and the
ventilation blades rotate from left to right.
8. Cleaning and care
Regular cleaning and maintenance of the
appliance not only protects the environment
and saves energy, but also increases its service
life. The following description provides valuable
tips.
•Always allow the appliance to cool
down completely before cleaning.
•Always remove the plug from the
socket before cleaning.
•Clean the air inlet/outlet grille
frequently with a dry cloth.
ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD!
•Disconnect the appliance from the
mains power supply.
•Never immerse the appliance or the
remote control in water for cleaning.
•Do not use a steam cleaner for
cleaning.
•The heater is equipped with a safety
device that switches off the heater in
case of unintentional overheating (e.g.
blockage of the air inlet and outlet
grilles, slow or no rotation of the
motor). To reset, disconnect the
appliance from the mains for a few
minutes, eliminate the cause of
overheating and reconnect the
appliance.

9. Warranty terms
The following terms describing the
preconditions for and scope of our warranty, do
not infringe the warranty rights of the ultimate
buyer.
Our warranty for this appliance is granted under
the following terms:
As the purchaser of an Exquisit appliance, you
have a manufacturer's warranty (2 years from
the date of purchase).
During this warranty period, you can make your
warranty claims directly on the manufacturer’s
Service platform at www.ggv-service.de.
If an additional warranty is concluded between
you and your dealer, all claims against the
manufacturer will become void after the end of
the 24-month manufacturer’s warranty. In this
case, please contact your dealer directly.
Warranty period
The warranty period is 24 months from the date
of purchase (proof of purchase must be
presented). During the first 6 months, After
Sales Service will fix defects in the appliance
free of charge, on condition that the appliance
is accessible for repairs without any great
effort. During the following 18 months, the
buyer is obliged to prove that the defect already
existed at the time of delivery.
In the case of commercial use (e.g. in hotels,
canteens) or joint use by several households,
the warranty period is 12 months from the date
of purchase (proof of purchase must be
presented). During the first 6 months, After
Sales Service will fix defects in the appliance
free of charge, on condition that the appliance
is accessible for repairs without any great
effort. During the following 6 months, the buyer
is obliged to prove that the defect already
existed at the time of delivery.
The claim under warranty does not prolong the
warranty period for either the appliance or for
newly installed parts.
Scope of the defect remedy
Within the aforementioned periods, we shall
remedy all defects in the appliance that are
demonstrably due to defective workmanship or
material defects. Replaced parts become our
property.
The warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear, intentional or negligent
damage, damage caused by non-compliance
with the operating instructions, improper set-up
or installation or by connection to incorrect
mains voltage, damage due to chemical or
electrothermal effects or due to other abnormal
environmental conditions, glass, paint or
enamel damage and possible colour differences
as well as defective bulbs.
Defects in the appliance resulting from
transport damage are also not covered. We also
do not provide any services if - without our
special written approval - work has been carried
out on the appliance by unauthorised persons
or parts of third-party origin have been used.
This limitation shall not apply to faultless work
carried out by a qualified person using our
original parts to adapt the appliance to the
technical safety regulations of another EU
member state.
Scope
Our warranty applies to appliances purchased
and in operation in the Federal Republic of
Germany or Austria.
In the case of complaints about defective
appliances, the sender's and recipient's
addresses must be in the Federal Republic of
Germany or Austria.
For appliances purchased and operated in other
European countries, the warranty conditions of
the seller apply.
For repairs outside the warranty period:
If an appliance is repaired, the repair invoices
are payable immediately without deduction.

Disposing of packaging materials

waste paper and plastic film in the

Old appliances must not be disposed of
with household waste
The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled
bin on the product or its packaging means that
the appliance must not be disposed of with
household waste but requires separate disposal.
You can return the old appliance free of
charge to a suitable municipal collection point
for old electrical and electronic equipment, e.g.
a recycling centre.
You can obtain the addresses from your city
administration or local government.
Alternatively, you can return old electrical
appliances with an edge length of up to 25 cm
free of charge to retailers with a sales area for
electrical and electronic equipment of at least
400 m2or food retailers with a total sales area
of at least 800 m2who offer electrical and
electronic equipment at least several times a
year.
Larger old appliances can be returned free of
charge to an appropriate retailer when
