1. S l i de the ON/O FF S w i tch to the ON pos i t i on.
2. F old out the meter's rear t i lt stand and set the meter on a desktop.
3. S elect range ‘ B ’ .
4. Hold the L i ght S ensor w i th the wh i te lens fac i ng the l i ght source to be measured. The sensor can
also be placed on the desktop fac i ng i n the d i rect i on of the l i ght source.
5. Read the l i ght measurement on the L CD d i splay.
6. If the measurement i s less than 200 fc, select the lower ‘ A ’ range.

The low battery i nd i cator " LO BA T " appears on the L CD d i splay when i t i s near i ng the t i me to
replace the 9 V battery. Rel i able read i ngs can st i ll be obta i ned for several hours after the f i rst
appearance of the low battery i nd i cator. To replace the batter i es:
1. S l i de the rear battery compartment cover off of the meter and remove the old battery
2. Replace the battery and re i nstall the compartment cover

collect i on po i nts i n the commun i ty or wherever batter i es / accumulators are sold !
