Intended Use
The EyeOn Air is a speech generaon device intended to provide an individual who has a severe speech impairment with
the ability to meet their funconal speaking needs. The primary purpose of the EyeOn Air device is to provide
synthesized speech through use of speech generang hardware and soware. This device is generally not useful to an
individual in the absence of an illness or injury.
Methods of Use
The EyeOn Air device is intended for use in the home by individuals who have a severe speech impairment. The EyeOn
Air device can be used on a flat table or desktop surface by ulizing the integrated kickstand. In addion, the EyeOn Air
device can also be mounted to various wheelchair mounts using the VESA mounng paern located on the back of the
device.
Prohibited Use
This device should not be used for clinical, therapeuc, or diagnosc purposes.
Service Life
The expected service life of the EyeOn Air device is five (5) years. The EyeOn Air device is intended for daily, repeated
use.

of the EyeOn Air device.

Do not expose or submerge the EyeOn Air device in liquid substances.
The EyeOn Air device uses a Li-ion baery. Do not dispose of the baery in the garbage when replacing. EyeTech uses a
third party agent for baery disposal. Go to hps://www.call2recycle.org/start-recycling/ and follow the direcons
listed there.
Avoid exposing the EyeOn Air device to areas of extreme temperature. For example, storing the device in the car during
the summer may adversely affect the performance of the baery life.
