Gefeliciteerd met de aanschaf van uw Faber
product! Een kwaliteitsproduct waar u vele jaren
de warmte en sfeer van zult ervaren. We adviseren
u om voor ingebruikname van de haard de
gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig door te lezen.
Mocht er zich ondanks de zorgvuldige
eindcontroles een storing voordoen, dan kunt u te
allen tijde contact opnemen met uw dealer of Glen
Dimplex Benelux B.V.
Om aanspraak te maken op de garantie is het van
belang dat u de haard registreert.

Controleer
Controleer de haard op transportschade en meld
eventuele schade onmiddellijk aan uw leverancier.
Inleiding
Met de afstandsbediening kunnen basisfuncties
worden geactiveerd. Voor uitgebreide instellingen
zoals Mood settingen en thermostaatfunctie is het
noodzakelijk om van de Faber ITC-V2 App op
Smartphone of Tablet gebruik te maken. De
afstandsbediening registreert de
kamertemperatuur en dient daarom op een
geschikte plaats in de bijgeleverde houder te
worden geplaatst. (Zie hoofdstuk 7).
Laat de haard alleen onderhouden en installeren
door een gekwalificeerde installateur volgens de
water- en elektrische veiligheidsvoorschriften. Lees
deze installatiehandleiding goed door.
CE verklaring
Het product voldoet aan de: European Safety
Standards EN60335-2-30 en de European Standard
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) EN55014,
EN60555-2 en EN60555-3 deze dekken de
essentiële eisen van EEC Directives 2014/35/EU en
2014/30/EU.
Veiligheidsinstructies
OPGELET: HET NIET OPVOLGEN VAN DEZE
INSTRUCTIES KAN SCHADE VEROORZAKEN EN UW
GARANTIE TENIET DOEN
•Gebruik deze kachel, in het land waar hij
bij een erkende detailhandelaar werd
gekocht.
•Het toestel moet geïnstalleerd worden
volgens de laatst geldende voorschriften
en mag alleen gebruikt worden in een
voldoende geventileerde ruimte (Zie
bouwbesluit).
•Het toestel moet jaarlijks gecontroleerd
worden volgens dit installatievoorschrift
en de geldende nationale en lokale
voorschriften.
•Controleer of de gegevens op de kenplaat
overeenkomen met de lokale elektrische
gegevens.
•Het toestel is ontworpen voor sfeer- en
verwarmingsdoeleinden. Dit houdt in dat
alle zichtbare oppervlaktes, inclusief het
glas, heter dan 100°C kunnen worden.
•De instellingen en de constructie van de
haard mogen niet worden gewijzigd!
•Niet buiten gebruiken.
•Niet in de directe omgeving van een bad,
douche of zwembad gebruiken. Dit
apparaat mag niet via een extern
schakelapparaat, zoals een timer, worden
gevoed of aangesloten worden op een
circuit dat regelmatig door de
nutsvoorziening aan en uit wordt gezet.
•Het apparaat niet afdekken om
oververhitting te voorkomen. Geen
materiaal of kleding op het apparaat
leggen of de luchtcirculatie om het
apparaat verhinderen door bijvoorbeeld
gordijnen of meubels.
Installatie-eisen
Dit apparaat moet aan een geaard
wandcontactdoos worden aangesloten.
Het gebruik van een verlengsnoer of een adapter
voor meerdere stekkers is niet toegestaan.
Reiniging en onderhoud
De opvangbak en het waterreservoir in dit product
worden behandeld met een Silver Biocide om
schadelijke of ongewenste organismen te
bestrijden. Dit voldoet aan de nieuwste relevante
ISO-norm. Jaarlijks zal het toestel moeten worden
gereinigd en gecontroleerd op een juiste werking
door een installateur. De buitenkant van de haard
kan worden gereinigd met een schone vochtige
doek.

Reiniging van het glas
Demonteer het glas zoals beschreven in de
installatievoorschrift, hoofdstuk 5. Met glasreiniger
kunt u het glas reinigen. Gebruik nooit agressieve
schoonmaakmiddelen of schuurproducten.
Algemeen
➢Let op!
Bij gebruik in een omgeving met weinig
achtergrondgeluid kan een geluid hoorbaar
zijn als het vlameffect geselecteerd wordt. Dit
is normaal en is niet iets waar zorgen om
gemaakt hoeft te worden.
Handmatige bediening (achter
servicedeur)
Functie bedieningsknoppen, zie fig. 1.0:
A = hoofdschakelaar
1 = AAN/UIT
2 = koppelen afstandsbediening
3 = niet gebruiken (alleen voor service
doeleinden)
4 = vlameffect hoger
5 = vlameffect lager
6 = volume knispergeluid hoger
7 = volume knispergeluid lager
➢Let op!
Hoofdschakelaar ‘A’ regelt de stroomtoevoer
naar de haard. Om de haard te bedienen moet
deze schakelaar in de “AAN” (I) stand staan.
Eerste keer ingebruikname van de haard
•Zorg ervoor dat alle afsluiters en de
waterkraan open staan;
•Zorg ervoor dat de hoofdschakelaar in
stand "AAN" (I) staat.
De haard inschakelen
Druk op de knop om het vlameffect in te
schakelen. Hoewel de hoofdverlichting
onmiddellijk zal starten, duurt het nog +/- 15
seconden voordat het vlameffect begint.
De haard uitschakelen (stand-by)
Druk op de knop om de haard uit te schakelen
naar stand-by modus.
Wandbediening
Wandbedieningspaneel 3-knops

Functie bedieningsknoppen, zie fig. 2.0:
1 = AAN/UIT
2 = Verwarming AAN/UIT
3 = Knispergeluid AAN/UIT
De haard inschakelen (zonder verwarming)
Druk op de knop om het vlameffect in te
schakelen. Hoewel de hoofdlampen onmiddellijk
werken, duurt het nog 15 seconden voordat het
vlameffect begint.
De haard uitschakelen (stand-by)
Druk op de knop om de haard in stand-by-
modus te zetten.
De verwarming inschakelen
➢Let op!
Om gebruik te maken van de verwarming,
moet de haard ingeschakeld zijn!
Druk op de knop om de verwarming in te
schakelen.
De verwarming uitschakelen
Druk op de knop om de verwarming uit te
schakelen.
Het knispergeluid uitschakelen
Druk op de knop om het knispergeluid uit te
schakelen
Het knispergeluid inschakelen
➢Let op!
•Om gebruik te maken van het
knispergeluid, moet de haard
ingeschakeld zijn!
•Het knispergeluid zal bij het inschakelen
van de haard automatisch worden
aangezet.
Druk op de knop om het knispergeluid in te
schakelen.

Wandbedieningspaneel 2-knops

Functie bedieningsknoppen, zie fig. 2.1:
1 = AAN/UIT
2 = Mood loop
De haard inschakelen (zonder verwarming)
Druk op de knop om het vlameffect in te
schakelen. Hoewel de hoofdlampen onmiddellijk
werken, duurt het nog 15 seconden voordat het
vlameffect begint.
De haard uitschakelen (stand-by)
Druk op de knop om de haard in stand-by-
modus te zetten.
Een mood setting selecteren
Met knop kan er worden gekozen uit 3
verschillende mood settings:
1Kampvuur
2Strandvuur
3“My mood”
➢Let op!
•De mood setting “My mood” kan worden
aangepast in de App. Elke gebruiker kan in
de App 3 “My moods” instellen.
•De laatste geactiveerde “My mood”set,
van de laatste gebruiker, zal worden
getoond.

Check the fire for transport damage and
immediately report any damage to your supplier.
Introduction
Basic functions can be activated with the remote
control.
For extensive settings such as Mood settings and
thermostat function, it is necessary to use the
Faber ITC-V2 App on Smartphone or Tablet.
The remote control registers the room
temperature and should therefore be used
appropriately place in the supplied holder. (See
Chapter 7).
Only have the fire installed by a qualified installer
according to the water and electric safety
regulations. Read this installation manual properly.
CE Declaration
The product complies with the European Safety
Standards EN60335-2-30 and the European
Standard Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
EN55014, EN60555-2 and EN60555-3 these cover
the essential requirements of EEC Directives
2014/35/EU and 2014/30/EU.

•Use this heater in the country where it
was purchased from an authorized retailer
•The appliance must be installed in
accordance with the latest applicable
regulations and may only be used in a
sufficiently ventilated room (see building
regulations)
•The appliance must be checked annually
in accordance with these installation
instructions and the applicable national
and local regulations.
•Check that the data on the rating plate
corresponds to the local electrical data
•The appliance has been designed for
atmospheric and heating purposes. This
means that all visible surfaces, including
the glass, can become hotter than 100 ° C.
•The settings and construction of the
fireplace must not be changed!
•Do not use outdoors.
•Do not use in the immediate vicinity of a
bath, shower or swimming pool. This
appliance must not be powered from an
external switching device, such as a timer,
or connected to a circuit that is regularly
turned on and off by the utility.
•Do not cover the device to avoid
overheating. Do not place any material or
clothing on the device or obstruct the air
circulation around the device, for example
through curtains or furniture.
Installation requirements
This appliance must be connected to an earthed
socket. Do not use an extension cord or a multi-
plug adapter.
Cleaning and maintenance
The water sump in this product is treated with a
biocidal product, Silver Biocide in order to control
harmful or unwanted organisms. This conforms
with the latest relevant ISO standard.
The device must be cleaned and checked by a
qualified specialist to ensure the safe use and to
guarantee a long service life.
The outside of the fire can be cleaned with a clean
damp cloth.

Cleaning of the glass
Remove the glass as described in the installation
instructions, see Chapter 5. The glass can be
cleaned with glass cleaner. Never use aggressive
cleaning agents or abrasive products.
General
➢Please note!
Used in an environment where background
noise is very low, it may be possible to hear a
sound which is related to the operation of the
flame and heat effect. This is normal and
should not be a cause for concern.

Button functions, see fig. 1.0:
A = main switch
1 = ON/OFF
2 = pairing
3 = only for maintenance (service engineer)
4 = reduce flame effect
5 = increase flame effect
6 = reduce fire crackling sound
7 = increase fire crackling sound
➢Please note!
Main switch ‘A’ controls the electricity supply
to the fire. To operate the fire the switch must
be in the “ON” (I) position.
First time water fill
•Ensure that all valves are open and turn
on the water supply.
•Ensure that the mains switch is in the ON
(I) position.
Switching ON the fire
Press the button to turn on the flame effect.
Although the main lights operate immediately it
will take a further 15 seconds before the flame
effect starts.
Switching OFF the fire (standby mode)
Press the button to put the fire into standby
mode.
