Before installing and commissioning the ISM.12, read the safety instructions, provisions and conditions carefully.

This paragraph contains a number of general safety instructions. The installation of the device and remedying of any

malfunctions should be performed by acertified electricalinstaller according to theapplicable norms. The guarantee

does not apply if this product is installed in any other way than is indicated by Fancom.

Disconnect power before installation.

Prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) when working on the ISM.12. Ensure that the workplace is clean

and dry.

Use correct wires as shown in the connection diagrams.

Make all wiring connections and check them before applying power. Incorrect connections can cause

permanent damage.

Make sure that the ISM.12 is well and properly grounded according to the guidelines.

Never place the ISM.12 in a place where the weather has direct influence (not in the sun, not in places

where the temperature can rise sharply etc.).

Inspect the ISM.12 periodically for any damages. Notify your installation technician immediately of any

damages. A damaged ISM.12 is unsafe!

Do not use water or high pressure cleaners for lengthy periods.

It is advisable not to switch off the ISM.12. This could lead to condensation caused by cooling down.

Install the ISM.12 and associated components as follows:

1. Mount the ISM.12 (see page 3)

2. Connect the ISM.12 (see page 3)

3. Test the ISM.12 (see page 3)

When mounting/installing an end station, the following should be observed:

Mount the ISM.12 on a flat surface.

Make sure that the gland nuts are at the bottom of the ISM.12.

Seal all gland nuts after connection of the ISM.12 to prevent entry of dust, aggressive gases and/or

humidity

Connect the ISM.12. Use the:

Lees de veiligheidsinstructies, bepalingen en voorwaarden aandachtig voordat u de ISM.12 installeert en in gebruik

neemt. In deze paragraaf staan een aantal algemene veiligheidsinstructies. De installatie van het apparaat en het

verhelpen van eventuele storingen dient door een erkend installateur te worden uitgevoerd volgens de geldende

normen. De garantie is niet van toepassing als dit product op een andere wijze wordt geïnstalleerd dan door

Fancom is aangegeven.

Schakel vóór het installeren de stroom uit.

Voorkom elektrostatische ontlading (ESD) als u aan de ISM.12 werkt. Zorg voor een schone en droge

werkplek.

Gebruik de juiste draden zoals getoond in de aansluitschema's.

Verbind alle draden en controleer de verbinding voordat u de stroom inschakelt. Onjuiste aansluitingen

kunnen blijvende schade veroorzaken.

Zorg ervoor dat de ISM.12 volgens de voorschriften goed en degelijk geaard is.

Plaats de ISM.12 altijd buiten directe weersinvloeden (dus niet in de zon, niet op plekken waar de

temperatuur sterk kan oplopen etc.).

Controleer de ISM.12 van tijd tot tijd op eventuele beschadigingen. Meld eventuele beschadigingen direct

aan uw installateur. Een beschadigde ISM.12 is onveilig!

Gebruik geen waterstraal of hogedrukreinigers gedurende langere tijd.

Het wordt aangeraden om de ISM.12 niet uit te schakelen. Dit zou kunnen leiden tot condensvorming als

gevolg van afkoelen.

Voor ondersteuning en antwoord op eventuele vragen kunt u het lokale Fancom Sales & Service Centre

raadplegen.

Installeer de ISM.12 en de bijbehorende onderdelen als volgt:

1. Monteer de ISM.12 (zie pagina 3).

2. Sluit de ISM.12 aan (zie pagina 3).

3. Test de ISM.12 (zie pagina 3).

Let bij het monteren/installeren van een eindstation op het volgende:

Monteer de ISM.12 op een vlak oppervlak.

Zorg ervoor dat de wartels zich aan de onderkant van de ISM.12 bevinden.

Dicht alle wartels na het aansluiten af om te voorkomen dat er stof, agressief gas en/of vocht in de ISM.12

binnendringt.

Sluit de ISM.12 aan. Raadpleeg:

1. Controleer of de ISM.12 correct is aangesloten.

2. Controleer of de ISM.12 optimaal werkt.
